On a roll today but I wanted to post about the fact that we are nearing the end of March. March is a special month particularly for women. March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

As a teenage girl who lives with the disease, it can be very difficult. You cancel plans because you’re afraid of the pain, you miss school, and people can’t believe that someone so young can have a life-long reproductive disease. Despite endo affecting approximately 10% (176mil) of women globally, doctors haven’t found a cause, nor a proper cure. It can be delayed, but it’s chronic.

I hope that all other women and people out there with endo find the support they need 💛

Summary:

"You being in love with me is not a 'you' problem!" he grew more and more frustrated as he sprinted forward. In a trice, the comforting quietude of their vicinity had switched to something which seemed as haunting as the silence of a grave.

"You always had the heart of mine," he heard a hushed murmur so quiet Louis might as well be just speaking to himself.

Foreslketown's carnival had been a fest of elation to them as kids. By the time they reached pre-teens, it was an unspoken tradition- attending the last evening of the carnival for the year and watching the lights flicker throughout the night. Until, what used to be a matter of ecstasy abruptly turns into a state of disconsolateness when Louis misses an evening one year, only to find out that- that very evening was supposed to be the last one with Harry, before he moves to Blathe. Being the bearer of this horrifying news, Harry also takes it upon himself to make sure that they don't miss seeing the swirl of flashing lights for the last time.

Harry taps on Louis' window with a sad smile. They sneak into a closed carnival. A starry night comprised of them running around the abandoned premises with their fingers intertwined ensues.

Fics and Art must be completed by the time of submission

There will be no restriction on the writing of explicit, sensitive, or potentially triggering content, though this must be tagged appropriately.

Betas and Brit Pickers are most preferable, however are not mandatory. Brit pickers and beta negotiations should be writers responsibility.

Visual presentations (such as moodboards) for Fanfics are preferable for posting on tumblr.

Oh, and the guy who works in conservation at the other end of the building is the most beautiful man Harry's ever seen, even when wielding a hot iron as a weapon.

໑ I Really Like Your Styles: The Baking Advent-ure by @homosociallyyours (T, 34k, strangers to lovers, advent fic, coffee shop au, barista louis, baker harry, food, american au) Louis isn't much for frills, and the coffee shop he co-owns with his best friend Liam is evidence of that. Yes, it's got a decent sized, well-kept industrial kitchen, but Louis insists that people come to coffee shops for coffee, not mediocre pastry and plastic wrapped cookies. When Liam's campaign for serving treats turns into watching a few baking accounts on whichever popular app he's on, there's one that really gets on Louis' nerves: "I Like Your Styles." With his chipper demeanor and over the top descriptions of the food he makes, Louis is sure that the (unfortunately cute) baker is full of it. Nothing that adorable could possibly be worth the hype.

It doesn't actually take much for him to eat his words…and some quality baked goods, while he's at it.

Thea Tomlinson and Belle Styles are work besties. When Belle decides that Harry needs a date for his fiftieth birthday party, Thea suggests her Dad. What the pair don't know, is that Harry and Louis went on a date nearly thirty years previously, and it didn't end well...

"'Yoga. Harry's yoga class,' he deadpanned, frowning at the traffic that was starting to build in front of him. Louis needed to get home and shower this experience off his skin. Probably a cold one, if he thought too much about Harry in those leggings. 'This was all you, no?' 'Nope. Not me, not a chance.' He could imagine the expression on her face as she denied being involved in this weird set up. 'You're a shitty liar, Theadora.' Drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, that cold shower felt further and further away as the red lights held steady in front of him.  'Fuck. Full naming me.' 'Damn straight!' Louis scoffed, shaking his head a little, unable to hold back the smirk on his face. 'Why did you do it?' 'Do what?'  Another lie.  Louis wasn't sure if he should be offended or amazed by her ability to lie so easily; clearly a trait she'd picked up from him and never brushed off. It was always difficult to argue with a smaller version of himself."
