Here’s a preview of a little something I’m working on  before I leave. 

It’s going to be hard to set these ideas on the shelf for awhile during my mission, but I know that I’ll be better prepared when I can pick them back up again. It’s crazy to see how large this dream has already become! I put a picture from just over a year ago under the cut. I can’t believe how much I and these characters have progressed! It really hit me this last week how short 18 months can be, yet how much can happen and how much a person can grow. I want to assure you all, and myself, that I still plan on making ALL THE little THINGS become a reality. Thank you all for the support you’re given me so far!

Only a few months ago, this was one of my best references for these kids. It’s amazing how any sort of practice pays off. Never ever ever get discouraged about the future becasue of where you are in the present. Thank you all.

Thanks for the encouragement! It feels great to know how many people are already involved in the work I’m joining. We will see what challenges await me, but I can already feel a special place in my heart for the sweet children of God in Vancouver. It’s strange, I’ve never met any of them, but I can feel there are people there who will change my life just as I hope to change theirs. I’m excited to put some faces in the place of this feeling. I just realized I haven’t made a formal announcement of this yet!

For those of you who don’t know already, I’m a member of the LDS church. And, I just accepted a call to serve a proselyting mission. I’ll be serving for 18 months in the beautiful state of Washington! I’ll be speaking Spanish! I’m very excited! I leave on the 26th of July, so this blog will not be posting after that date until my return. I am so excited to go and be a representative of my faith. Thank you for your love and support. I’ve made a lot of friends on this site who I’ll miss having contact with. Thank you again, and wish me luck! Art Fight 2017!

Starting again on July 1st is my favorite online artist event: Art Fight! If you have OCs, and enjoy making and receiving art involving OCs, then I highly suggest you check out the site and set up an account! 

For those who aren’t familiar with Art Fight, here’s a brief overview:

Each year, participating artists are split into two teams. 

The main goal is to find any artist from the team opposite yours, and ‘attack’ them by drawing art of their ocs! Your team receives points based on what you create. 

Artists that receive attacks can then ‘counter’ by drawing an OC belonging to the person who fought them!

Art Fight is a great chance to interact with tons of different artists, get to know the amazing OCs that others have created, and have a lot of fun making art! The art you receive is also very exciting; you never know who may attack you! 

The event lasts a month (July 1st - August 1st), and the team with the most points by the end wins!
