*Tony’s stopped off to make some modifications to his armor: if he’s going to be fighting Hulks, or anything like Hulks, he needs something a bit stronger than his current suit. And even a turnaround like Tony’s takes a little time*

*So he’s up to his elbows in machinery, Metallica CD blaring, coffee mug cooling on the workbench*

*He knows JARVIS doesn't live in the ceiling, but he can't help the reflex.*

"Someone's got their cranky pants on today. Who peed in your cornflakes?"

*The music's deafening. He looks around, takes in what Tony's working on, knows it's armor but not what kind.*

"Is this how you normally greet your guests?" he says over the music.
