Eat Well Be Well VoxBox FREE compliments of Influenster for honest reviews which are all my own!

This VoxBox included a sample of Glutino gluten free Pretzels and coupons for a free Evol product, a free Udis Gluten Free product, and a free Earth Balance product! Along with a Eat Well Be Well journal, a Udis Bread clip, an Evol sticker and some recipe cards!

For my free coupons I chose:

Reviews on each product:

Glutino- Gluten Free Pretzel Twists: surprisingly delicious, very crisp, not overly salty. If you placed these in a bowl on a table at a party NO ONE would know they were gluten free! I would buy these again! 

Udis Gluten Free- Three Cheese Ravioli: So I decided to make theses for dinner and didn’t tell my boyfriend they were gluten free, because he's one of those people who are like ew gluten free must taste funny. But he thought they were delicious and couldn’t tell and when I told him they were gluten free he was like really?! I don’t believe you. I told him check the freezer and he was amazed. Another delicious product from a great company I plan to buy again.

Evol- Butternut Squash Lasagna: Okay this was one I wasn’t sure if I was going to like or not. I know I like lasagna and I love butternut squash but I don’t usually like those frozen dinner type meals. I try to stay away from the microwave and yes I know you can prepare it in the oven but when you are as hungry as me sometimes you can’t wait 55 minutes for food to cook. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that it really didn't taste like a microwave meal. It was delicious, flavorful, creamy, cheesy and the butternut squash did stand out, not too sweet just perfect. I have eaten food from this brand before and that meal i do remember waiting like 40 minutes for in the oven and it was delicious and I will keep buying from evol!

Lastly,

Earth Balance- Natural Peanut Butter with Flaxseed: I absolutely love nuts and peanut butter! So when I got to choose an Earth Balance product I knew I was getting peanut butter. And I couldn’t be happier, I love that natural peanut butters although creamy still taste kinda rough because they aren’t overly processed. I was expecting to taste flaxseed cause I mix flaxseeds into my yogurt and can taste them there but you don’t see or taste them, just an added benefit that I love. If my boyfriend approves we will switch from our usual peanut butter to Earth Balance! If not looks like we will have 2 brands in our cabinet!

This is one of my most favorite voxboxs i’ve recieved! Delicious all around, and honestly my favorite gift was the bread clip I don’t know how but my boyfriend ALWAYS  loses the twist tie on the bread but now we have a clip and boy does it help! Thank you again Influenster!

This month I received the Influenster Bloom Voxbox free for testing and product review purposes.

In this Voxbox I received:

Overall the voxbox was pretty awesome, not really any complaints. It included a good variety of spring/summer products that I enjoyed testing. As far as individual product reviews go here’s the breakdown:

NUXE: AMAZING Dry Oil! Great on dry skin and hair. I mostly use mine on my dry skin. I work as a chef in a corporate kitchen so we are always wearing gloves and the powered gloves tend to dry out my hands so when I get home form work I put one small dab of oil on and rub it in and it makes my hands feel brand new. I have used it on my hair when I go out and I have stray hairs everywhere again just one small dab of oil and it tames all those fly away stray hairs. I WILL be purchasing this product in full size from ULTA, Which runs about $45.00+tax for 3.3 oz.

Sinful Shine: I didn’t really get to test this product out again I am a chef so we aren’t allowed to wear nail polish in the kitchen. I know I know why didn’t I just test it on my toe nails, to be honest I REALLY need a pedicure before I can do anything else with my feet. But I will eventually use it on my toe nails seeing its summer and sandal season.

Sunbelt Bakery: I use to eat these granola bars ALL THE TIME. I don’t know why but I totally forgot about them until I got one in my voxbox and was like OMG I totally forgot about these! And since eating my oats & honey bar i’ve purchased almost every flavor they have at $2.00 per box of I think 10 at walmart. DELICIOUS SNACKING!

Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads: In order to complete part of the Influenster badge on their website for reviewing all of the products received I did have to put on the Sinful Shine nail polish and take a picture with it, and because I had to work the next day I used the remover pads to get the nail polish off, and boy do I have to say I was impressed. Not just by how quickly and efficiently they worked but they didn’t smell of that obnoxious acetone smell, they actually smelt good. If I ever get to do my nails again I will definitely keep these in mind!

Secret Outlast Xtend Deodorant: Recently I received a full size trail of another brand of Spray Deodorant and I have to say I absolutely fell in love with it! It worked so well and kept me clean smelling and dry as a chef in a hot kitchen but as you know I had to test and review all products so I did I took a week and used my trail of Secerts Outlast Xtend and I have to say I was impressed it did last a full 8 hours in a 100 degree plus kitchen and I felt good afterwards. But I think I’m going to stick with my spray for now. But if you like solid deodorant I would highly recommend this one.

Not Your Mothers: As for this product I can say I have super thick hair already with a lot of volume so I didn’t personally use this product. I did however give it to a friend who has thin flat hair and she absolutely was impressed and loved the product. She can’t wait to go out and buy a full-size bottle of it. She said “It makes me feel pretty and not like I just have flat dull hair” and that’s all I needed to hear to say this is a good product.

Chicken Alfredo with Nasoya Pasta Zero

To be honest I was a little skeptical swapping out traditional pasta for Nasoya Pasta Zero, mainly because my boyfriend doesn’t like to try anything new. He wanted Chicken Alfredo the other night and I told him it was going to look a little different because I didn’t have fettuccine, he didn’t really question it. So I prepared the meal with the pasta that was supplied by Influenster free of charge for testing purposes in exchange for an honest review. The meal turned out better than I expected and my boyfriend didn’t suspect a thing. Then he happened to ask me which noodles I used and me being the honest person I am I told him that it was Nasoya Pasta Zero and his response was “What is that?” So I explained Nasoya Pasta Zero are “…traditional Japanese shirataki noodles that have only 15 calories and 4 grams of carbs per serving.” And they are all natural, fat free, vegan and gluten free. The only word he didn’t like was vegan but he did admit they were delicious and didn’t change the flavor of the dish. Overall the pasta was delicious and we would buy it again because we are both trying to be healthier and no doubt Nasoya Pasta Zero is a healthy alternative to traditional pasta.

To begin, I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. A few years ago a friend introduced me to Influenster a free site where you answer questions, partake in reviews/surveys and are qualified to receive free boxes of items to review. I took advantage and have had boxes that benefit me and my family and pets. This box just so happened to be for my cat. She definitely isn’t complaining.

My cat Mojo is almost 10 years old but still young at heart and lets face it will probably always love treats, but why just hand them treats when you can put them in a toy where they can get exercise beating the little “Snacky Mouse” around and work for their treats. My cat absolutely LOVES her mouse, even empty she still hits it around hoping for a treat and hey even if you don’t have treats you can trick your cat and put in some dry food and they think its still treats.

I recommend this for any cat owner who likes to give their cats treats, its easy to refill and you can set it so the treats are easy to get out or a little harder to get out. Its fun for everyone, the cat gets rewarded for playing and you get the reward of watching your cat have fun.

Up for review today from my #FrostyVoxBox is #BootsBeautyUSA #GetADVANCED NO7 Protect & Perfect ADVANCED Serum. Which is clinically proven and more effective at reducing the appearance of find lines for younger looking skin in just 2 weeks. Product is compliments from #Influenster to test and review. 

We were only given a small sample of this serum but from that little bit it went a long way. I was about to use it for about a week and boy how the improvements on my skin looked. My skin looked healthier and younger and i'm young to begin with, I just have a stressful job so my skin gets oily and damaged more easily. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to anti-age their skin to look younger and more healthy, or for someone with youthful skin who wishes to keep it looking like that.

Review: Mary Kays ClearProof Acne Treatment

I received a full sized #ClearProof Acne Treatment Kit free from #Influenster for testing and review purposes. I have already posted what the ClearProof system was and why I was going to be testing it. And I have to say #ClearProof by #MaryKay does work!

I could not be more happy with my skin right now, after just one week I saw more clear skin, less black heads and overall and even tone throughout my face. I even got more compliments from those annoying beauty people in the mall/department stores that always want you to let them show you samples of makeup that is over priced.

ClearProof took me maybe 5 minutes longer in the morning to get ready and I say those 5 minutes were totally worth it. Even my boyfriend noticed a difference in how smooth my skin is and how naturally glowing my skin was. I couldn't believe it a man noticed something? haha, just joking men notice more than we think.

My first review will be on Mary Kay's ClearProof Acne Treatment Kit that I received free from Influenster for testing and review purposes.

I am human like everyone else, I have had everything from horrible acne that nothing will treat to the most perfect skin. Everyone knows that your body changes every so often which means so does your skin. Lately I've been having problems with black heads, dry skin and some major acne breakouts. Which is why I qualified for this trial.

I received my box of Mary Kay almost 3-4 weeks ago where I then took to the treatment, which is a  4 step process. You start with the Clarifying Cleansing Gel which "...gently removes dirt, oil and complexion-dulling impurities." It is Formulated with 2% salicylic acid which is recognized by the FDA as an effective acne-fighting ingredient. What this means is the Clarifying Cleansing Gel will penetrate into the skin where applied and clean all pores and help reduce the shine oils and dirt cause.

The second step in the Clear Proof system is Blemish Control Toner, which helps to tone the skin, no way. This toner is special as it doesn't dry out your skin like some have the tendency to do. This toner is formulated also with 2% salicylic acid and helps to exfoliate the dead surface cells that are just chilling on your face and you might not even know it. The toner also helps to removed excess oil and alleviates pimples and those pesky whiteheads.

Step 3 is to apply the Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel, which is formulated with 5% benzoyl peroxide which is recognized by the FDA ad an effective acne-fighting ingredient. The acne gel is to help prevent new pimples from forming, it absorbs quickly into the skin and mild enough to use everyday. It also helps to fade the look of lingering acne spots. 

The last step in the ClearProof system is the oil-free Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin, probably my favorite part of this entire process. This moisturizer is lightweight and doesn't clog your pores and feels soothing on irritated skin. This moisturizer will both improved the appearance of your skin tone and it will make your skin feel softer, healthier, nourished and smooth. 

I as a woman in my early twenties still suffering with acne outbreaks have tried many treatments throughout my teenage years and still now and I have only found 1 other treatment that could compare but the results on this treatment are by far for satisfying and I believe it is the toner and moisturizer that help out so much more that the 3 part treatment I use to swear by.

Like they say, this treatment works on anyone, any skin, any problem. I am proof that it works (before and after pictures to come.
