RP Term: Mutuals

First off, I would like to say that I hate the new update. Second of all, I set my tumblr to English for this. Love me please.

Mutuals?

What exactly is a mutual? Well, it’s not quite like Facebook’s term “mutual friends”, but it’s close. When a roleplayer uses the word “mutuals” either on their blog or in their rules, they’re talking about people who they follow that also follow them.

Some, if not many, roleplayers tend to only “roleplay with mutuals”, and will state this on their blog or in their rules. I’m not going to go into why roleplayers might do this, as everyone has their own reasons.

How do I know if we’re mutuals?

Do you follow them? Good job! That’s half of it covered. If you don’t, sorry you’re not mutuals. The other half of it, is do they follow you? Now, this one is a little bit harder to check, since you can’t tell whether or not they follow you by looking at the dashboard or at their blog.

How do I check if they follow me?

The easiest way to do this is to go into your followers. “But I have XXXXXX followers!” you may cry, but that’s okay. We’re going to use the search function. It’s a little search bar that is easy to glance over at first, so I’m going to use some gifs to explain it.

Note: If they are a sideblog, they are 100% unable to follow you so keep that in mind! If you are ensure whether or not they’re a sideblog, please go and check. Most roleplayers will have it stated on their blog.

"That he is," she nodded. "We’ve spent so much time travelling, I wonder if he’ll ever be able to stay in one place."

"Do you mind if I ask what type of magic you practice?" she asked. "Personally I like life magic, and defensive magic a bit too."

Zagan is talking about eating people and something about paimon kissing and Ugos just going to back away from the other Djin and pretend hes not one of them.
