finished this book and by David Foenkinos (which was an unexpected find at the library) and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed both books. Unwinding Anxiety was a good supplement to everything I'm learning and beginning to practice in therapy; Second Best was a nice trip along the coming-of-age journey of someone learning that their worth is not tied to their profession, while also learning to manage their anxiety <3

“May your Paths be safe, your Floors unbroken and may the House fill your eyes with Beauty” - Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
Finished Piranesi last week and thats a book thats definitely going to stick with me. I loved the writing style and deeply felt for Piranesi as he grappled with his identity. I almost cried at the end!

nothing more heartbreaking than realizing you can't make it to the book club meet up once you're 75% of the way through the book :')

my second ben lerner book — charming, self-affacing without being insincere, with traces of what eventually became the hatred of poetry, committed to poetry without being able to define it, drifting but not aimlessly, and so, so funny

✨ I hope to see y’all in 2024 ✨
2023 has been a year of massive change for me, good and bad, so I hope in 2024 I can find a little consistency and grow at my own pace.

I'm graduating in two days!! And this is how I chose to spend the afternoon, but can you blame me? Sunny winter days are the best for a bike ride and a quiet reading session in the park.
