the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

Day 19/45 (25.01.2024)

-Felt amazing al throughout the day.

-Sat down to study almost as soon as I woke up.

-Skipped meals al day because taste buds are still very weird but went out at night Imao.

-also made beignets again. These turned out sooo prettyy 😭😭😭

-Had the first Tiramisu of my life 🥹🥹 It was great. Had honey and bbq wings and fries as well. At first it tasted bland but after a few bites everything tasted great.

-I am in a very happy mood. But I feel tired to continue studying today anymore.

-Planning to wake up next day at 6 am and study all morning.

-I am finally going to start daily exams from tomorrow!!

14.2.23 my baby @caramelcuppaccino 20 days language learning challenge 🤎 (watch me do the challenge and not the language learning) I’ll put two questions together, day 10: how do you enrich your vocabulary? day 11: is there a certain method you use to learn languages? yep, watching movies and series and then speaking to myself (most words that come out of my mouth probably don’t exist, but it’s useful to practice the pronunciation ok)

i'm seeing a lot of new ppl join tumblr who aren't making any spontaneous semi pathetic, oversharing personal textposts whatsoever and i just want to say you're doing it all wrong... this is not like instagram like meant to be some shiny highlight reel used to make u look good its supposed to be an incriminatingly revealing dark intimate look into your life & inner psyche while simultaneously no one knows who u are or gives a fuck... anyway hope this helps some of u get on the right track
