Dear 2022✍️, thank you for giving me the opportunity to see my mother again. She traveled to Madrid and I was able to link up with her and have dinner at the world's oldest restaurant... Restaurant Botín🍗 We also had the opportunity to try a recipe that hasn't changed since 1894, Chocolate con churros! The Chocolatería San Ginés🍫 is one of the most famous chocolate shops in Madrid located in the San Ginés passageway We got to rejoice☺️ and reconnect before I had to depart back to Porto, but it was an amazing time. Love you mama! What is the world's oldest restaurant? Casa Botín, founded in 1725, is the oldest restaurant in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records and a benchmark of Madrid’s best traditional cuisine. Hey Siri, if our world is 4.543 billion years old, how long until we humans can all live in peace and harmony? 📍Vinhas da criação Velha - Moinho do Frade - Frade windmill - Pico Island - Azores Vinhas da criação velha ( Old Creation Vineyard ) are a Protected Landscape for the Vine Culture, one of the most emblematic of the island, including a great active vineyard area, where the walls streaking is in perfect state of preservation. Classified as World Heritage by UNESCO since 2004. Frade windmill has been rebuilt in 2003/2004. The work has been performed in order to obtain an accurate copy of the original mill and it is even equipped with the necessary means for its original function of grain milling. Due to its privileged location, the Moinho do Frade is a great place for contemplation of what was a glorious work of our ancestors, a landscape made of lattice walls. As Vinhas da Criação Velha emprestam cor ao solo negro e são protegidas dos ventos marítimos por uma espantosa rede de longos muros de pedra, espaçados entre si, que correm paralelos à costa e penetram em direção ao interior da ilha. Por isso são Património da Humanidade e por isso também o passeio que proporcionam foi já considerado um dos 8 mais singulares do mundo. O Moinho do Frade foi objecto de reconstrução em 2003/2004. Os trabalhos foram executados por forma a obter uma cópia precisa do moinho original, estando mesmo dotado dos meios necessários à sua função originária de moagem de cereais.
