Introducing Kit Connor and Joe Locke as Heartstopper's Nick and Charlie!!!! 💖🍂🌈
I am so SO hyped to show you this photo of them in costume on set. Finding our Nick and Charlie was no easy task and I was VERY nervous about the search. These characters have been with me since 2012 (over a third of my life!!), and many of you since 2014 - they’re deeply important to me, and I know they are to many of you too. I knew that we had to find the perfect teen actors to play them or the show would fall apart. But we found them!! We really really did!! Kit and Joe are just amazing, literally so talented and sweet and funny and utterly Nick and Charlie in so many ways, and it has been so much fun getting to know them and welcoming them into the Heartstopper universe. I feel very lucky that they’re playing these characters who are so precious to me and many of you, and I hope you fall in love with them as Nick and Charlie as much as I have done!! Please join me in showing them some love and support today!
I know many of you are eager to see who is playing the rest of the Heartstopper gang, so stay tuned for more cast reveals VERY soon… 🎬

Review of Loveless by Alice Oseman

Firstly, let me just say how much I love how Alice is able to create characters that I truly care for! So when I started reading this book, I expected to become attached to the characters (as I usually do regarding her books) but wow. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!! Every part was perfect!
No surprise here but I LOVED every single character!
I adored the emphasis on the importance of friendships and platonic love, and how platonic love is not “lesser” than romantic love.
Loved the representation in this (aro/ace and pan relationships)
I found that it was well-paced and well-written. At times it was emotional and serious, whereas others it was fun and super enjoyable!
I love how self aware the characters were and how they were dealing with their trauma and struggles of growing up.
There are a lot of moments that I can relate to in this book, as I’m currently in the same position; 18 years old, coming to terms with my sexuality, and leaving for university in September (hopefully, with everything going on at the moment).
The sapphic rivals to lovers aspect between Pip and Rooney was G R E A T. Their flirting/banter was so fun to read!
I must also say that I enjoyed the Scooby Doo references
Overall, this book was filled with amazing conversations, great quotes and moments. This is a fantastic book about love, friendship, and self-acceptance. I could not recommend this book and author more!
