I love talking to other bio majors bc it's crazy that we can all major in the exact same thing but with wildly different interests

One girl I was talking to today wants to go into pharmacology because and I QUOTE "drugs are cool"

Another wants to be an oncologist

Both of them prefer molecular cell and development bio

I fucking HATE mcdb classes to my core and think they're the most boring shit on the planet and am absolutely obsessed with ecology, especially plants and aquatic communities (to the point where almost every upper div class I've ever taken has been about either plants or aquatic communities)

But all three of us said we want jobs where we can help people

Whether it's developing a medication that can save people, directly working with people, or wanting to protect the environment that we need to be not dead in the future

We're all so different yet we're all in the same major with the same overall goal

Sometimes I see a respected mutual in my notes and remember they follow me and I'm like. Should I apologize for what I'm doing here. But they did choose to be in my house

Am I happy Watcher rolled back their plan and apologized? Yes. Have I still lost any desire to watch their videos? Yes. Do I think people are being too harsh towards Steven, singling him out and such? Yes. Do I think Steven and Andrew bringing back worth it in the middle of a global cost of living crisis is extremely out of touch? Yes.

All of these things can coexist. Feelings towards the situation can be complex. It happens.

No one ever talks about how hard it is to trust yourself if you’ve been through trauma or are mentally ill. Not trusting others is a common assumption but what about not trusting your own mind. Not knowing which thoughts to believe. Not trusting that you will be able to go somewhere and not have a panic attack or ptsd episode or be triggered in general. Not trusting your actions because they’ve always been critiqued etc. Not trusting yourself is a new kind of hell that no one should have to experience.
