#in the fall when i go apple picking with some friends #i like to bring a backpack with my camping chair camping table and a tea set and thermos and a paring knife and a picnic blanket #last year the apple picking outing coincided with the lunar festival so i brought moon cake as well #in that orchard you get a pretty nice view of the nearby farms and the mountains; and no one checks on you #so i brew some tea gong fu style and cut some moon cake and some apple and play music softly; probably black hill #i look forward to that peaceful picnic every year #something like 80% of our friend group went to the other orchard (that's packed with families and mostly picked clean) #it was myself and three other folks who all dilly dallied in a quiet orchard full of red apples #and i got to introduce them all to mi lan xiang- which was a big hit and went nicely with the moon cake

i hate when i send someone a meme in another language and they're like "uhm... translate? 😒" fucker i sent you a meme where 90% of the words have an english cognate and/or you don't need to know what they're saying to find it funny. can you at least TRY
