It's a pretty constant thought for me. I feel aware of my woman-ness all the time, in a variety of contexts, whether it's to reassure myself that I'm valid in my gender because, despite being cis and looking very female, I sometimes don't feel like I'm woman enough. And I've been misgendered before, sometimes as a bullying tactic for being kind of a tomboy. Other times I'm kind of obsessing over how others perceive me and my gender plays a big part in that.

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.

The realization hit me like a truck

I heard it was aroace week, so I wanted to share a time when my grandma helped me realise that i might be aroace!

It helped me understand many things about me and that how i feel sometimes is okay! and I'm not just heartless

I'm not going to go into what my current job is but the lack of collectively owned space here is legitimately a safety issue as well, a fact that's made clear to me EVERY TIME I go to work. It's depressing, isolative, and DANGEROUS.
