Taeyong - If there’s one thing you should know about Taeyong, it’s that he tries to spend tons of time with you. Even if his schedule is almost full, he gives his best effort. After long days, expect to do some stuff like play games, have a movie marathon, or even go shopping. When it comes to little things, it depends on the weather. When it’s sunny outside, Taeyong will take you out to enjoy the sun and how it feels. On the contrary, he loves staying inside and napping with you when it’s raining or snowing.

Taeil - Taeil is the kind of boyfriend who sends you a song and says it reminds him of you. On some days, you can even expect a whole playlist that you adore. He keeps almost everything you give him, no matter the size or the condition it’s in. If you gave him a birthday gift years ago, he’ll more than likely still have it well taken care of. He’ll remember things you’ve said, which is also perfect when it comes to getting gifts for you, no matter the occasion. 

Johnny - Despite Johnny helping almost everyone he knows, he helps you out the most. His aid ranges from assistance with getting something to kind words and affirmations. It comes from a state of care. He makes sure to take care of you and treats you like a prized possession. No matter how sweet that is, there’s a downside. When going out to an amusement park, Johnny always drags you along on drop-off rides. Whether or not you’re scared of heights, it’s something you should prepare for.

Yuta - Something sweet Yuta does is rest on you. Because he doesn’t use a pillow, there are times when he prefers lying on you for comfort reasons. It’s extremely cute, but he always manages to wake you up since he wakes up earlier. You should always expect to be out a ton on off days, mainly due to disliking staying inside. You always have fun with Yuta, so that’s what really matters. 

Doyoung - Similarly to Taeil, Doyoung has a good memory, so he knows exactly what to get you every single time. If you said you enjoyed a certain dish or outfit, it’s something that he’ll give you, even if it’s years later. It’s extremely impressive and always such a surprise to you. On a good day, you’ll catch Doyoung in the kitchen baking a treat for the both of you. He has to put that baking talent somewhere, you know. 

Jaehyun - Jaehyun enjoys taking care of you more than—almost—anything. It doesn't really matter what he does in particular, but it’s always nice to be treated nicely. Honestly, the only bad thing about Jaehyun is that he’d brag about a lot of things, although they're not even that serious. It’s really him trying to show off to impress you, which is pretty sweet. Whenever this happens, he seems to get a bit embarrassed after it. You can always tell when his ears get red.

Jungwoo - He gets you all kinds of Snoopy-related items solely to remind you of him. Jungwoo has given you accessories, kitchen sets, and so much more that is just... Snoopy. You don’t know if he mainly does this to you or if it’s normal, but there’s not much of a complaint. Jungwoo would try to scare you with his imitation skills, which work a lot more than they really should. Sometimes you know it’s him doing it, but it’s the fact that you don't expect it that gets to you.

Mark - For someone who mainly takes out the trash and helps with laundry when it comes to the group, Mark is weirdly insistent on helping you with chores. You could be doing the dishes, and he’ll ask if you need help, but he will still do them if you say no. The only “bad” thing he would do is offer to take you out to get something you want, then take you to a totally different spot to eat his favorite food with him. It’s not the worst, but it is a bit odd.

Haechan - Haechan likes to keep the place clean, which is always handy when you don’t actually feel like doing anything. He likes to tidy up with music, which is always a nice touch. There’s just something about him that makes me want to believe he would torture you in the weirdest ways, like making you watch his dancing without music, which is oddly uncomfortable. There isn’t a reason for this. It just happens. Haechan would probably eat your food but say that you “just forgot you already ate it” to get away with it.

Taeyong - At first, he was scared to meet your parents, but they absolutely love him. He’s a bit shy, but that doesn’t stop Taeyong from helping out with your family. Whenever you visit your family, it’s either your mom or an aunt giving you a plate full of food and saying, “Oyes, esto es para tu novio. (Hey, this is for your boyfriend.)” Taeyong makes an effort to learn Spanish to the best of his ability. Maybe it isn’t the best, but he has a good understanding of it. 

Extra: His favorite dish would be fresas con crema.

Taeil - One thing about Taeil is that he doesn’t play around when it comes to Sundays. Sometimes he’s up before you, singing his heart out to Selena or Luis Miguel. He would absolutely love the two singers. On a nice Saturday, he’ll ask your dad or an uncle to start grilling. The whole time he’s either with you or grilling with your tios, taking a few sips of a Modelo or Corona offered to him. Taeil absolutely devours carne asada with a semi-burnt tortilla. 

Extra: A nickname he would have is “Bebé” because of his baby-like skin.

Johnny - You know when you have a crush on a sibling or cousin's partner? That’s the case for one of the teenagers in the family. It’s because of how charismatic Johnny is. Other than that, your tias love him and talk about all kinds of family chisme. Whenever he’s asked to put tortillas on the comal, he always manages to miss a tortilla or grab it when it’s too hot. He calls you his “beautiful Latina queen.” 

Extra: Johnny probably loves your mom's food more than yours. You can’t even blame him for that.

Yuta - The little kids love hanging out with him! Whenever he’s over, you can always find Yuta playing soccer or messing around with the dogs. If you go to a family gathering without him, the kids ask where he is. Sometimes he’ll try to give the dog some tortilla, but he isn’t sneaky with it. Yuta’s favorite holiday is Christmas, especially with your family. Most of the time, he gets more gifts than the kids because everyone loves him. You’ll get a present or two, but he goes home with the best stuff ever!

That’s why you guys leave so late. He calls you things like “mi vida” or "cariño,” and it’s so heartwarming when it happens because he really does love you.

Jaehyun - Unlike Doyoung, your family abandons their activities for him. They all swarm around Jaehyun and ask him all kinds of questions, as if they’ve never seen a man. They always ask him such weird things, like if he’s an alien or something. Also, unlike Doyoung, whenever he calls you “mi amor” or “mi reina," it’s honestly terrible because he’s not saying it in the accent, but it’s okay because it’s Jaehyun. He tries, and that’s what really matters. Honestly, he’d be a perfect vaquero boyfriend.

 Extra: He once got on a horse but got flung off not long after.

Jungwoo - He loves hanging out with the guys in the family. Once Jungwoo is with them, expect him to not leave until it's too late. He always finds a way to impress your tios, whether it’s speaking Korean, Chinese (Mandarin, I believe), or even the little bit of Spanish he’s picked up. On game days, Jungwoo’s watching the game and might’ve bet some money as well. Whenever a holiday pops up, everyone already knows to serve bigger portions for him due to his appetite. He gets spoiled. 

Extra: His grito is really good. Impressive, even.

Mark - The adults love him, but the children have a burning hatred for him. He’s getting showered with affection while not understanding what they’re saying at all, but he’s always getting stared down by the kids. The reason was because Mark took all the piñata candy. He doesn’t play around when it comes to piñatas. Mark also shows people his music and convinces them to stream it, but that doesn’t work.

 Extra: When he’s traveling with you to a Latin country, he gets scammed by street vendors.

Haechan - Sometimes you can’t tell if your family is yours or Hyucks. They adore him and spoil him rotten. You get to eat a single plate? Your moms already gave Haechan three. It’s sick and twisted. He’s a prank puller, but everyone still loves him. Other than that, he’s a real family guy. Haechan loves being with you and your family, even if there’s a slight language barrier. 

Extra: Once planted, place baby Jesus in your rosca slice to avoid making tamales himself.

Taeyong - One thing about Tyong is that he enjoys shopping, whether it’s as a way of destressing or if it’s for you. Another thing about him is that he’s forgetful… Personally, I feel like he’d buy you a surprise gift but put it somewhere and then forget about it. Sometimes, it gets to the point where you find it weeks later and get apologetic because of it. I believe he'd write lyrics about you or your relationship and try to slip them into songs. Maybe he’d make a meal for you every now and then as well! 

Taeil - One of Taeils hobbies includes listening to music, so I wholeheartedly believe he gives you song recommendations. To add to this, they’re songs that remind you of him. He would enjoy having movie nights with you, as that’s something else Taeil enjoys. Every time you have pictures together, they’re going into his wallet. I’m sure he would love spending personal time with you, and it’s really the little things that matter to him. He’s probably the most loving guy out there. I may be biased, but it’s true! Taeil for the win honestly!

Johnny - Taking pictures is something Johnny likes to do, so the chances of him taking pictures of you are common. I feel like if you were to ask to see them, he’d get all giggly and flustered. Johnny also dabbles in books, so he could also give you recommendations. This could be flip-flopped, so he’d read whatever you seem to talk to him about. Maybe you two would go on cafe dates, considering his liking for coffee! I think that’d be extremely cute (I want that so bad).

Yuta - Like Yuta once said, he would date this partner on a date to an amusement park. It’s a really fun experience, assuming you don’t have motion sickness and enjoy riding roller coasters. Or extremely expensive food... But that’s the fun of it all! As long as you’re spending time with Yuta, right? He also likes jewelry, specifically earrings. I feel like matching accessories would be cute, you know? I think matching in any sort of subtle way is always really nice. I’m kind of running out of words to say, but trust me, it’s a nice experience, I hope.

Doyoung - I am 87% sure Doyoung likes to sleep and enjoys beds more than the average person, so my first point is taking naps with you. In my opinion, this is absolutely amazing because not only do you get to sleep at night, but you can also take naps throughout the day with someone. Who wouldn’t want that? Something else about Doyoung is that he dabbles in scented candles. There’s not much else to say about that, but I’d like to add that maybe he’d cover a love song. I like to keep my imagination open.

Jaehyun - Cuddling! He has a habit of hugging the blanket while sleeping, so, knowing how conniving this guy could be, he’d probably hug you in bed but pretend he didn’t know. This doesn’t work because his ears turn red when he lies. A girl can always dream! Jaehyun also plays piano, so he’d probably show off his skills every once in a while. I feel like he's one of those “This one’s for you!” guys when it comes to basketball, but I’m saving that for someone else. (Totally take your guesses guys!)

Jungwoo - Watching soccer. He makes you watch while he plays soccer. It’s not the most romantic thing, but Jungwoo’s happy if you just pay attention to it. Plus, who am I to judge? I used to do the same thing. He’s one of the members with the biggest appetites, so assuming you can cook well, he’ll happily eat your food. You have to make enough for the both of you, but mainly Jungwoo. Food is food, man, so I totally get him.

Mark - When I think of Mark, he’d probably get matching outfits for you guys! The only bad thing about that is that it’s those cringey, “I’m his, I’m hers.” galaxy wolf hoodies. It’s up to you if you want to believe if it’s serious about it or not. His rebuttal would be something like, “But bro, don’t you think it’s cute?” word for word. It’s diabolical, really. On the bright side, his lyrics about you and the relationship are definitely something for the books. Honestly, he’s like modern-day Shakespeare.

Haechan -Out of everything he could ever do with you, skinship is probably the tamest out of literally any activity the both of you could resort to. Maybe there’s something better, but this is the first thing that comes to mind. It’s just self-care, but that’s always nice to do with someone else. On the other hand, I can really imagine harmless pranks coming out of Haechan. The only problem is that most of them aren’t as harmless as you’d like them to be. It’s not like anyone’s coming out of a hospital, but someone almost gets hurt.

The sun's warm rays poured in through your window blinds, gently illuminating your face. It was a nice feeling, but way too bright for your liking. Bed sheets rustled around as you shifted to face the other way.

In front of you was Taeil, your perfect boyfriend, whom you loved more than anything.

The mellow lighting colored him well, so obviously, you’d take the time to admire him. There was always something pleasing about him sleeping, but you couldn’t put a finger on it. Maybe it was how relaxed he seemed... Either way, that didn’t matter.

“Stop watching me sleep, weirdo.” Taeil muttered, his morning voice evident. His lips curled into a smile while you jerked back in shock. “Did I wake you up? I’m so sorry-” You apologized.

“Don’t apologize, y/n.” One of his arms slithered around your waist, gently dragging you closer. You could feel his body warmth radiating off of him, which was comforting.

Your hand rested on one of his shoulders, which was used to level with him. Your lips brushed against Taeil’s forehead, leaving a small peck on his skin. Looking back down at him, it was clear it left him slightly flushed. Even if you two dated for years, he was still flustered about kisses.

“I love you, babe.” Taeil muttered, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck. You were able to feel the kisses he planted on your skin, which brought warmth to you.

The two of you stayed in the moment, cuddling each other as if nothing mattered. It was amazing to have such an amazing partner around. Taeil was one of the best things to have happened to you.

“Baby?” 

“What’s up?”

“Has anybody ever told you that I love you?” Taeil muttered, his voice almost melting. 

Your head gently shook at his question. “Nope. Not at all.” A giggle slipped out of your mouth.

“Then I’ll be the first one to say it.” He chuckled, placing a few kisses on your face. “I love you.” Every time he repeated those same three words, there was always a new kiss somewhere on your skin.

“Let me get up-" you suggested, playfully trying to push him off of you. You were being drowned in kisses—now pinned down on the bed too! It’s not like you cared, but that wasn’t important.

 Despite your kicks, Taeil was still able to withstand them somehow. He was always resilient, but it was shocking.

“Do I have to?” A groan escaped his mouth, letting go of you and rolling on his back. He was going to start pouting. You could feel it, and you were right!

Taeil turned to his side, facing you with a sullen expression. “You’re so boring, y/n.” He complained, trying to make you feel bad just to shower you with affection.

You sighed, tenderly shaking your head. “You know we have to get up soon, right?” Taeil ignored the comment you had made, continuing his pouts and complaints.

One thing you had to admit was that this act was a bit cute. He only did this when feeling needy for your attention. Oddly, it was endearing. You couldn’t help but give in to his whines.

“Alright, a few more kisses it is…” Taeil’s expression shifted so quickly when he heard you succumb.

He wrapped his arms around you, pulling your face closer to his. A soft kiss landed on one of your cheeks, followed by one on your lips.

Taeil made sure to take his time, just wanting to make sure you could feel his love. There was no intention of leaving your skin uncovered with the gentle pecks he left.

“I think that was a little more than a few, babe.” You giggled, pulling yourself away from him. Taeil scrunched his nose, pretending to be mad with you.

“You’re no fun, y/n!” Taeil shook his head, pulling himself away. His face dropped from his playful anger. “I love you so much, though.” The ends of his lips curled up, putting a fond smile on his face.

You took your boyfriend in your arms, cuddling as if this was the last time you could. “I love you more, Taeil.”
