We need a new version of the “you are not immune to propaganda” that says “you are not immune to socialization”

while I’m ambivalent about separatism for women *always* (especially women attracted to men), I do think every woman needs a separatist phase. For me, denial is very hard to shake when I’m dependent on a man and I know I’m not the only one. Our psychology is going to try to protect us from reality the more we financially and socially rely on men, pressing pause for a few months or years will allow you to gain a sense of independence and perspective, it doesn’t have to be the rest of your life but it you accept patriarchy is real and something that lives in mixed sex society then you owe it to yourself to try and discover who you could be without male constraints and what role you would like males to play in your future.

The need of more women in high earning workspaces
[For India]
Female surgeons- 12.5%
Female judges- 10.1%
Female pilots- 12.4%
Female bank managers - 18.8%
Female entrepreneurs- 14.6%
Female CAs - 30%
Female IPS officers - 11.7%
Female district magistrate- 19.8%
Above are few of the most respected and well earning professions in India. Yet women do not constitute more than thirty percent of their workforce. Although more and more girls are pursuing university degrees, the number of women in leadership roles in any field remains stagnant for the past few decades.
This disparity increases along with the age of the employee, for most women leave their careers at the age of 30-35 - the prime of their careers- owing to their commitment to childcare and homemaking. A stark reality for most women in south asian households is that they are pressured to leave work to take care of their ailing in-laws. Once the child is old enough, or after the death of the in-law, the long gap in resume does not allow women to earn as much as their male counterpart.
To advance women in a capitalistic society, the resource pool must be colonized by women --especially women in highly misogynistic societies. The capital earned by women will act as a partial sheild to protect them from the evil of men.
The most vulnerable woman in the present world is a woman without capital-without any money or property to their name. The feminist focus should be fighting for women's right to own property, for obtaining equal share in their father's property, and for the wife to have as much share in her spouse's property as her children.
Along with this, female reservation for high posts in BOTH public and private departments should be our goal. A greater percentage of women in the three bodies of law is crucial for female advancement. Solidarity between the female social class in terms of financial resource sharing must exist. Female entrepreneurs should source their raw material from female vendors and employ more women. Female separatism should be practiced at a financial level as well.
A lot of radical feminists support socialism and so do I. Inspite of this, we survive in a capitalist world. The poorest of women cannot advance through socialism because the current system is designed for men. Before the radical change is brought, we should strive for the betterment of lives of women living under this system which can only be brought by women hoarding capital amongst the female class.

So pansexuality is, as far as I can tell, bisexuality, but dressed up to be inclusive toward males and females who identify as something. So what I'm wondering is what is the opposite of that? Someone who is capable of being attracted to either sex, but immediately loses that capacity for attraction if the other person is an "I identify as..." type.

If you are 29 and have been trying to have kids long enough to have exhausted fertility treatment options you didn’t by any reasonable definition “wait” to try for kids

I think todays discourse about JKR shows that:
a) most people don’t have an actual firm understanding of what the Holocaust was
b) not do they understand what Holocaust Denial is
c) the conflation between past gay people who cross dressed and present day transgender people is harming historical narratives around same-sex people. It’s a new version of cultural appropriation
d) the inability to understand that “transgender research” in the past was motivated by homophobia, eugenics, and desire for scientifically validated human experimentation is paralleled in todays experimental and often harmful approach to “treatment” of dysphoric individuals

This isn't about chess but when I was doing combatives in the army and was up against guys this one started kicking me in the head and the other guys cheered him on and clapped him on the back bc they didn't like that I was as good as them despite being a 5'2" 19yo girl so extrapolate that to girls on boys' athletic teams being targeted by their teammates during practice and by the boys on the opposing team during games and female pilots during ww2 being murdered by their male copilots via intentional sabotage and women being told they don't belong in chess and girls being told they aren't smart enough for information technology and and and

The more I think about it, the more I think the best parallel ideology to transgenderism is scientology. One of them is a wacky and wildly individualist spiritual belief system about how all your problems have to do with how your soul was forcibly placed in the wrong body. And you can only solve those problems by forking over money to a weird priesthood masquerading as intellectuals and health experts, who will help align your body with the vaguely defined and unfalsifiable spirit at its core. All justified with a mid 20th century coat of psuedoscientific paint. The main architect of which was a pedophile. Which later went on to infiltrate the government, academia, and the entertainment industry (especially Hollywood) where it morphed into a weird cross between a sex cult and a pyramid scheme. And even though most people know it is bullshit, its followers are so tenacious, and it's church so well funded, and their abuse of the legal system so well refined that people are simply too intimidated to stand up to them. And people who do dare to defect are mercilessly hounded and intimidated into silence for daring to expose the cults inner workings to the general public.
And the other one is a group of weirdos who worship an alien called Xenu or something.

One of my most controversial opinions is that although male suicide statistics are often thrown around in an attempt to elicit sympathy for men, I almost never feel sympathy. Each time I hear the male suicide stats, I imagine a venn diagram where one circle represents demographics that are overwhelmingly male, and the other circle represents demographics with extremely high suicide rates.
And do you know what demographics often make up the intersection? What demographics are both overwhelmingly male and have extremely high suicide rates? School shooters. Child rapists. Terrorists. Those who murder their wives and children. Violent criminals.
There is often this depiction that men who commit suicide are merely lonesome victims of ‘misandry’ who could not fulfill the harsh standards of masculinity. And yes, many of them might be. However, no one ever mentions the flip side of it, which is that male suicide statistics are often just an extension of male degeneracy—that men who commit suicide are not always victims, but rather victimizers seeking to escape the consequences of their actions. Don’t you ever wonder what the male suicide rate would be after subtracting all the pedophiles, murderers, and terrorists?

I think part of the reason why “Karen’s” are so hated is because people find it funny that a woman is trying to be intimidating. Oftentimes when a man is aggressive, demanding his way and shouting at people he’s considered scary, even by other men. When he has the power to make people scared then people are more likely to view him as justifiably arrogant/up himself, but when it’s a middle aged woman who doesn’t hold physical power over most people, she’s viewed as a joke for even thinking about trying to get her own way.

Something I’ve noticed is that the features in men that are commonly considered attractive to heterosexual women are signifiers of being an adult, like being tall, having a deep voice, being muscular, having a stubble, etc. while the features in women that are commonly considered attractive by heterosexual men are features that are signifiers of being a child, like being small, having little to no body hair, having high pitched voices, having completely “smooth” skin, etc.
