Reader and Fernando's two year old daughter Sofia has a habit of copying words she heard reader call Fernando as nando as has starting calling him Nando much to his dismay

On the occasion your husband wasn't working over winter break, he would be at home with you and your two year old Sofia. Sofia is an energetic child always on the run whether it's at home or in the Paddock. And now was currently at the stage where now she was copying everything anyone was saying.

Sofia was a daddy girl, and has him wrapped around her finger since the day she was born.whether it was asking for some juice, wanting a toy or candy from the store, or simply wanting to be held by him he would do it with out batting a eye. With the explanation of " she's only this small for a little bit."

On this rare day she was calm and was playing in the living room with Fernando, you were currently looking in the fridge looking for something to make for dinner. " Nando what should we eat tonight". Now silently hoping he will eat out or order food. " we can order something" hearing a giggle " Nando " Sofia yelled out looking at her fathers shocked face.

speed walking to the living room seeing your husband's jaw dropped still holding the plastic cookie she gave him. " No daddy not Nando" he said after a few minutes of shock. shaking her head " No daddy Nando" still giggling loving the looks on both of your faces.

Sitting by Nando on the floor and gently pulling her into her lap, " baby you have to say daddy not Nando." batting her lashes and her eyes she clearly got from Fernando " Okay mommy" reaching her arms towards Fernando quickly bring her to his chest letting out a sigh of relief as he hoped it was only a one time thing. " OK Nando "

At this time it was you letting out a laugh as you now realized the name was going to stick . Turning his head in your direction " it's not funny Y/N/N", saying the last part loudly so that Sofia could hear. She did but still responded with " Nando" repeating the name over and over like a chant. Reminding him of when she kept repeating Damn after hearing lance say it which lasted for two days. " you know she's going to go on for another day" he only nodded pulling the girl towards his chest and resting his head on his baby's head not putting the whole weight. Only letting out a sigh and giving a small nod.

He prayed the two days would hurry.

Diamond Earrings

Pairing: Carlos Sainz x black!oc (Liana)

A/N : please excuse the poor writing finished finals this week and my brain is literally mush.

A/N 2: does not has to be read as Liana can be read as yourself using names usually helps me write better

having a 4 year old girl with Carlos and her having wrapped around her finger.

Waking up to the smell of pancakes and coffee Liana walked into the kitchen to see her 4 year old daughter Luna sitting on the counter in a mini apron laughing at Carlos as he gave her another blueberry she decided that she was, helping your fiance with the breakfast. Neither of them noticed the woman walking Luna noticing her first letting out a big screech scaring both adults.

With the biggest smile " hi mommy " and a " morning amor " which made the parents heart melt walking up, and giving both a kiss on the cheek that's when she noticed a little sparkle in her daughters pierced ears. " Lulu look at me baby " gently grabbing her daughters face and turning them slightly. " Look mommy daddy gave me diamonds". shaking her head showing her mom the earring her dad bought when they went out shopping the day before. Her small bonnet almost sliding off from the movement

Nodding turning her head to look at her fiance who kept his eye on the food in the skillet occasionally side eyeing the woman. Lifting Luna off the counter she set her down. " Luna Can you go play for a little bit" before she ran off Carlos butted in " she can't she's my helper." looking at her dad confused " daddy you was just giving me chocolate chip and blueberries." letting out a sigh and turning off the stove after putting the last stack of pancakes. " Luna love can you go play," looking like a scared puppy.

running off Liana turned to look at her fiance who was quick to wrap his arms around her waist, " Diamonds earrings Carlos" " I couldn't say no look at her doe eyes how could anyone say no", he said giving a big smile " you should have seen her face when she seen them you would have done the same amor." Letting out a sigh you knew it was true even at three years old she had her grandparents from both side and her parents wrapped around her finger.

Knowing she couldn't say anything after that, she placed her head on his chest after a couple of seconds letting go " next time please facetime me so I can at least see what you're buying her. doing a little dance knowing that in a way he won this day on spoiling his daughter. " Luna she loves the earrings" he called out hearing small footsteps running towards him " yay daddy" she goes quiet for a few seconds " can we eat now " both adults smiling finally eating the giant stack of pancakes.

Hey - if you’re working on a fic and it’s going slower than you planned, if you’re trying to work on a fic but the words just won’t come, if you want to work on a fic but you just have too many other things going on or you can’t get in the right headspace for writing, if you haven’t worked on your fic in a while… it’s okay.

Fanfic is free, and we all do it for fun. You don’t owe it to anyone. You aren’t letting anyone down if you don’t update on time - or at all. Sometimes, the words run out. Sometimes, you abandon the fic. Sometimes, you take a break for months, or even years. It’s okay.

And to anyone out there who thinks it’s okay to demand updates, or leave comments on fics you don’t like about how you don’t like them, or insult, trash-talk, or criticise fanfic writers… it’s not. Fanfic writers don’t owe you updates, or the specific story you want, or anything else. Fanfic writers are fuelled by compliments and positive feedback; they are discouraged by criticism and demands for updates and anything that makes them feel guilty.

So, if you want a writer to update? Support them. Encourage them.

But yeah, seriously, it’s okay not to update on time, or at all. It’s okay to write the story how you want to, even if some randomer on the internet doesn’t like it. Ignore those people. They are rude and their opinions don’t matter.

Also: some days, the muse doesn’t co-operate. Some days you’ll produce nothing but crap. That happens to literally every creative person, so don’t be too hard on yourself, okay? This is supposed to be fun. And you do not, in any way, have to do it if it’s not fun.
