man... i really love lucius so much. and it’s bc I love lucius that i have to do this... calling a hiatus until 25 may in other to sort out my school affairs. 

I’d love to pay attention to him alongside my other blog, but I don’t fully feel comfortable portraying him without looking at his character past book 4 (which I didn’t finish rereading since spring break), and I really don’t feel like doing him dirty by trying my hand at him without knowing I can absolutely fill his shoes. 

I’ll finish the books by 25 May and polish up Mr Malfoy properly! Until then, see y’all around :) If you want me, you can find me on my RED Medic from Team Fortress 2 until then — he’ll end up with a Harry Potter verse very soon!

a good chunk of my exams are over so i think this weekend i’ll read books 4 and 5 and have a nice long think about lucius because i love him and. possibly revamp his blog theme bc he deserves sm more than i gave him in the rush to set his blog up 😔🙏

for your consideration: lucius malfoy, but asexual. like, whilst he does have a family and an heir / son and all, you absolutely can have that even if you’re ace ... he loves narcissa and he loves draco, but I have never exactly imagined Lucius to be particularly sex-driven or even particularly sex-interested. It’s just one of the things that was very, very low on his list of priorities; he had zero curiosity for it as a kid, and not very much for it even in adulthood. he’s more interested in his collection of dark artefacts than in Getting It, that’s for sure

and he’s absolutely not a prude either. He doesn’t look down on that sort of stuff, if you dig it then do whatever you want. If anyone chats to him about it he’ll be like mhmm and file it away in the back of his head like “ooh, so-and-so did THAT huh, very interesting news that i could POTENTIALLY use against them in the future or chat shit about them with :^)”

he’s capable of romantic interest and obviously does get it on sometimes. rarely. maybe. but still it’s enough for me to do a HM
