So the company we paid to have help us clear our house out when we moved charged us 5 times.

so instead of $450, which we budgeted for, they charged us $2,250.

so i currently have 63 cents left in my bank account and nothing in my pantry or fridge.

since i planned to just grocery shop once we finished unpacking everything. 🫠

we're working on getting a refund from the company, but they're saying it'll be 3-5 business days. which sucks.

Hooray adulting.

So I'm opening up my commissions while we get this mess figured out. but even then, that might take several business days. because ✨capitalism ✨ so commissions;

I use USD. I do tell my clients that once I'm past the sketch phase of the commission, for half the commission price up front. so I'm not getting fucked over with finishing a piece and they back out or take it and run. so if that's not something you can do, then I'm not interested in working with you. sorry. 🤷‍♀️
