Fun fact: these bottles in Kieran's dorm room sink are ramune bottles! Ramune is a kind of Japanese soda with a unique shape that's infamously tricky to open if you've never done so before. Just thought that was neat attention to detail. (He definitely needs to be eating and drinking more than chocolate and soda, though...hopefully post-epilogue his diet improves!)

“What makes you excited about upcoming media?”
Kieran in the epilogue! Kieran in the TCG. Kieran in the Pokémon Adventures manga. The inevitability of more Kieran.

Current concept living rent free in my head is an AU where the Kitakami siblings went to Naranja/Uva Academy instead of Blueberry, and Kieran gets recruited as a Team Star Boss and has the time of his life! He's hesitant and a little intimidated by the idea at first, but in their pitch the other bosses explain how they also feel like socially awkward outcasts and formed this team to stick together. They proceed to give him a tailor-made costume, a Grass Crew base to defend (that he'll add plenty of Ogerpon imagery to ofc), and his own living battle car with built-in boss music to ride on top of while he challenges people, and by the tenth 'Wowzers' they've got him completely hooked.

Background art detectives, who are these people in the frames in Carmine's dorm room? I was trying to find a post that answered this but haven't seen any. Are her and Kieran's parents the upper left, since they look older and it looks like one has black hair and the other has purple hair? Then possibly Briar and Carmine during their travels on the upper right. No clue about the four on the lower left nor what's going on on the lower right (though it looks like Oni Mountain?)

Additional Messed Up Consideration About the Snowgrave Route
There’s that moment when Noelle almost steps off the laser switch. I find it to be one of the darkest moments in the route (especially since she jokes about it after you prank her with it in the pacifist route.) That was not something we told her to do as a player. It was a thought she had on her own—that presumaly the ring put into her mind. Or that she had as a panic response to trying to end/escape the voice. Either way, that was her thought, not the players.
But what would have happened if she did step off, and Kris got fried? Before the timeline was reset and she was confronted with what she just did. The voice—the player—would still be something she could hear, as established in the Berdly fight. So she would have to reckon with the fact she just killed her human childhood friend—not with magic she can’t remember but by manually setting off a lethal trap—who was not even responsible for manipulating her in the first place, and it was on her terms, not the voice’s.

Theory: Dess Has a Speaking Line in Deltarune Chapter 2
So this goes along with the theory that Dess is missing, not dead, which I think is all but confirmed at this point (namely 1. The calendar in Noelle’s room where she is searching for information about her sister, 2. Asgore’s removal from the force after possibly failing to find her, and 3. I think it would be extremely mean of Toby to take Noelle’s sister AND dad in the pacifist route, not to mention redundant from a writing/critique perspective, especially when Dess never fell down in Undertale!) Spoilers below.
When you go to Spamton’s shop, Noelle has a line about it feeling ‘nostalgic’. A lot of people say this is relating to the Snowgrave Route (or as I call it around my non-gaming friends, Derren Brown’s The Push route.) I don’t think that’s wrong, as she has a similar reaction to the glasses. However, I want to address a weird line of Spamton’s that also happens at this location.
When enter his shop and click Fear in the dialogue branch, you get this ominous set of lines:
Thus could be Spamton asking for our help, but I don’t think so. I think it’s December Holiday, who has not been found because she’s been trapped in the Dark World this whole time.
And where is she? I think it’s possible she’s in the TV World and we’ll find her in chapter 3. Maybe without Noelle, since we’re only going there with Susie and Toriel it looks like. But Dess’s thing was horror movies, right? And this was the Fear option. So that makes me think her being in TV World is very likely.
Also, Spam’s glasses when he’s saying that line look an awful lot like TV static, don’t they?
Bonus Theory: Mike in the TV World
Spamton also has this line with the same glasses effect:
Based on the fact we are heading to the TV World next and we don’t know a Mike (yet), I think Mike will be a char we meet in there, possibly our next Jevil/Spamton. (I’ll also admit this is kind of a stretch, but Mike Teavee is a character who gets stuck in a TV in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.)
Hopefully we get some answers within the next 3 years!

I’ve seen so many really sweet headcanons for these two, but every time I think about the Seam/Jevil friendship myself I just imagine the “when you randomly see your best friend at the store” gif
