For your honesty hour: I think I remember you not liking the Only Friends ending (I haven’t watched it and only noticed people’s reactions from afar), so - do you think that show is overall worth a watch, or do you think the ending ruins it enough that you wouldn’t rec it to people?

I think Only Friends suffers from a similar problem that a lot of BLs that are trying something new do, where the first half was really fun and exciting and spawned so many fan predictions and expectations…. And then inevitably disappointed when the ending wasn’t what the people wanted/expected. In retrospect I definitely should have curbed my expectations of what I was gonna get from a gmmtv show tbqh.

But honestly, I still think that Only Friends still has value to watch if not because the mess is highly entertaining. You just need to remember that everyone is a hypocrite, and also not expect the writers to inspect their double standard at all. Just take it at face value and don’t think too hard or it WILL make you mad

Okay but sincerely, now that Thailand is legalized same sex marriage, I can’t get it out of my head that KinnPorsche and VegasPete would celebrate with getting married, except Vegas and Kinn both want to be the first to get married, which starts a long, Bride Wars-like competition in which both create havoc and cause problems in the hopes of delaying each other’s weddings until after they themselves have gotten married.
