One thing really curious about this video that I think people didn’t realize was the spot lighting following Matt perfectly.
This is a technology called BlackTrack, a positional tracking system used in a lot of aspects in Drones World Tour concerts.
In the jackets of the band members, they have a device called BTBeacon, who sends the position information in real-time to lighting consoles and allows the automated spot to follow them without needing a “guy” (the Lighting Technician) behind the spot lighting.
Furthermore, the incredible visual who make tall projections of Matt and Chris and the strings that follow them in Handler song were all made possible because of the Blacktrack. For this reason, you will not going to see Matt, Chris or Dom taking off their jackets in this tour (Sorry, guys. You can stop daydreaming about it in this tour).
Every tiny detail in Muse shows have a technology behind it.
The wonders of the concert design are really incredible.
