Hey there! I'm a bit confused at the moment. I had to download the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection from a ahem "other source" bc my pc wont allow disk installation of the games I already have. When I want to create a downloads folder, which one do I put it in? It gives me separate folders for each expansion. And then sub folders in those like "TSBin" "TSData".

Hi! You are looking in the wrong place. Go to DOCUMENTS > EA Games > The Sims 2 - and put the downloads folder there. You are looking in Program Files.  Hope that helps!

Hi, Cindy! I'm a big fan of your videos! I know you have a lot of knowledge about the sims and I was curious if you know of an easy way/ website so that I can make my own family tree. I used to use ms paint but I found that method to be too tedious. I have a lot of family members and i don't like how the game condenses it down when I view it there. I'm playing the sims 3 if that helps. Thank you for all the great content!

I use tI use the plumtree app. It’s designed for The Sims 4, but can be used for any Sim game.

Hi, sorry to bother you. Do you know of any way to add more townies to existing neighbourhoods? I downloaded the "Alien townie pool replacement by Amura" and "Default townie pool replacement by Queen of France" but I don't want to replace the townies, only add on to them. I've not been able to find any tutorials regarding this. I'm starting on a completely clean game lest corruption occur, and I really don't want to miss out on familiar faces. Thanks in advance

If you’re using a clean template with townies already included in the ‘hood, then adding the “replacement townie pool” doesn’t actually replace the existing ones. If you install it according the directions, it will just dump them into your neighborhood alongside any Sims that area already there. They are called “replacements” because you can use them instead of the normal townies - but only if you use an empty template that has no townies. Otherwise, they’re just added in. Hope that helps!

Hi! I know someone asked you this rather recently, but since you've been introducing different mods into your Sims 4 game, I was wondering if you could share any rules or such? I'm looking to build a save that would involve playing rotationally but not sure on how to begin! In general, are you enjoying the game any more with mods involved? Such a big fan of your videos!

Hi! I’m going to be publishing my gameplay rules and mods list very soon on my blog. I’ve been playing for the past few weeks with mods and I have a system down that’s working. Yes, I am enjoying the game more with mods, but there are still some things that aren’t how I like them. But I’ll be sharing what I have within the next week - plus I have some videos planned that might help. :)

Been watching your LPs for a while. Have to ask, why are there so few lgbt Sims In them? The only two I’ve ever seen are Cassandra and Mary Sue (After they divorced Don and Daniel) and Pascal and Nervous. I guess I've always included several LGBT families in my saves so it’s weird to see so few.

If you’ve been watching my videos, you’ve missed Fabien & Kevin, Brandi L. & Jan Tellerman, Barb & Margaret (Strangetown), Brittany Oldie & Meadow Thayer. Plus, a plethora of currently unattached townies and NPCs in all my neighborhoods who have rolled as gay or bi.  I do not force gender preference on my Sims. All Sims have their preference randomized upon aging up to a teen, with a 20 percent chance of being gay and a 15 percent chance of being bisexual.

Could you please make a post/video about how you play the Sims 4? I really want to play want-based, but it's kinda impossible, since the "whims" are usually nonsense.

I have tried and tried to make wants-based work in The Sims 4, but the emotions, personalities, and whims are such garbage that it’s basically unplayable for me. I have been working on some rules and mods to see if I can get some kind of enjoyment out of it. If I ever figure it out, I will be sure to share!

I'm sharing my tracking spreadsheets for all the Sims 2 basegame neighborhoods (by request).

They come populated with beginning data for all households and Sims in each 'hood. I also included a completely blank version for custom 'hoods.

These are exactly how I use them, but they're easy to edit if you want. I like spreadsheets to help me with planning and to keep up with which rotation I'm on. I hope someone else finds them useful too!

I'm building a downtown area for Pleasantview to replace the current community lots with new, more modern businesses. This is the first one done - Pleasantview Career Services Center.

It's a place for Sims to go and find jobs in any career path (thanks to the job-seeking notice board) and use computers.

Hi! No, I don’t have family trees. I used to keep up with them on my blog, but it just became too tedious. I’m currently playing 4 different ‘hoods on both Youtube and Twitch, so it’s too much.

I'm on a roll today!

I've updated my Pleasantview Orphanage lot so the walls are no longer missing in Neighborhood view. This is my favorite house I've built for PV so far, and that was bothering me so much!

It also works as a regular suburban home with three bedrooms and three baths, but is currently furnished for five children and an adult caretaker. It's meant to house an adult Sim and the five Pleasantview townie children in my game.

Pleasantview Church and Cemetery

In an attempt to populate Pleasantview with the lots I feel a small neighborhood needs, I created this church and cemetery. It's equipped to handle weddings, funerals, and parties - or could even be used for religious ceremony if that's part of your game.

Built in the style of the other Pleasantview community lots, so it fits in to the 'hood.
