The Fallout show is pretty fun so far. I still have 3 episodes to go. Everytime Lucy said "Okey dokey", this was all I could picture.

What can you say about how The Ghoul regards Lucy, this do-right vault dweller, when they cross paths?
[...] She's a sheltered moral person because she had access to security and safety and resources in a vault setting, third or fourth or fifth generation, living underground in these secure environments and the rest of us were left to die on the surface.

Dude really just said "Cooper put Lucy in a jar to study and shake her"

For Novice Writers: the quick test for Are You Being Scammed Or Not...
I read a sad case today of a young writer who had had her story rewritten into illiteracy by a so-called publisher, who then abused her in email when she wrote to complain. She wsnât getting paid for her story â instead she was actually buying copies of the anthology to show people that she had sold a story. And I thought, it is time to remind the world, and to enlighten young writers, aboutâŚ
Yogâs Law:Â
Money flows towards the writer.
Thatâs all. All writers should remember it.Â
When a commercial publisher contracts a book, it will pay an advance against royalties to the writer. Money flows towards the writer.
Literary agents make their living by charging a commission of between 10 and 20% on the sales that they make on behalf of their clients, the writers. When advances and royalties are paid by a publisher the agentâs percentage is filtered off in the direction of the writerâs agent but the bulk of the money still flows towards the writer.
If a publisher ever asks for any sort of financial contribution from a writer, theyâre trying to divert money away from the writer, in direct contravention of Yogâs Law.
If an agent ever asks for up-front fees, regardless of what they call them (reading fees, administration costs, processing fees, or retainers), then they are trying to divert money away from the writer, in direct contravention of Yogâs Law.
Itâs a brilliantly simple rule. We should thank James D Macdonald for it in the best way there is. Buy his books
Money flows toward the writer.
No, that doesnât mean that the author should get paper and ink for free, or that he wonât pay for postage. It does mean that when someone comes along and says, âSure, kid, you can be a Published Author! Itâll only cost you $300!â the writer will know that somethingâs wrong. A fee is a fee is a fee, whether they call it a reading fee, a marketing fee, a promotion fee, or a cheese-and-crackers fee.
Is this perfect? No. Scammers have come up with some elaborate ways to avoid activating it. But itâs still a good and useful tool, and will save a lot of grief. Any time an agent or publisher asks for money, the answer should be âNo!â

Pairing:Â Javier PeĂąa x f! sex workerÂ
Rating: explicit, mentions of sex workÂ
a/n: Thank you endlessly to @krissologyâ for looking this over for me - I appreciate it more than you know. Dedicated to my love, @mourningbirds1â â¤ď¸ This is my very first Javi â be gentle!
â
The whiskey sliding smoothly down his throat, Javier chased it with a drag of his cigarette and glanced at the clock. The heel of his hand rubbed away at the tension between his brows as the dayâs events settled between them and he hoped this would help take the edge off. It usually did.
Standing from the bed, his cigarette dangled from his lips as he retrieved a second glass from the bathroom and he set it out next to his on the night table. Water, or whiskey â thatâs all he had â but it wasnât like staying in a hotel room made a difference. Even at home, where he usually did this, thatâs all he kept on hand. Looking at the bottle, he wondered if the maids ever drank what he left after he checked out. He hoped somebody did, and a knock on his hotel door interrupted his train of thought.Â
Grinding the cigarette out in the nearest ashtray, he tilted his face towards the ceiling while standing before the mirror and blew out the last stream of smoke. He adjusted his collar before opening the door.Â
âHello,â you smiled politely, trying not to fidget. Fidgeting made you look nervous, and you didnât want that. Confidence, you silently reminded yourself. Thatâs what they like.Â

no better feeling than imagining your favorite fictional character doing domestic things with you. youâre at the mall shopping for new clothes??? theyâre right there next to you helping you choose & being your best hype person. youâre cooking dinner??? theyâre right there next to you, singing and humming along to the music youâre playing. youâre reading a book??? theyâre laying on your lap enjoying the peacefulness of the evening.

Fandom is not about cancellable opinions itâs about sharing and spreading art and fics and gif sets and poetry and showering each other in praise and tearing up because someone said something nice about a thing you made and writing posts that say reblog to give the person you reblogged this from a kiss on the forehead actually
