i love harold and gob and nasty ghoul designs SO MUCH but i also think think there are multiple practical reasons on why they turned down the body horror for the ghoul character on the fallout show
for one i am SO STOKED that they are using special effects and facial prosthetics and makeup for him instead of cgi!!! but- this also means in order to see the actor's expression and not have him be constantly uncomfortable it has to be less detailed especially in comparison to fo3 ghouls
also i've seen quite a few comments saying "if u like his design ur STUPID" or "must be new to fallout if u think that's a ghoul" which is just... feels like fake fan accusations come on guys.
he's a gunslinger bounty hunter THAT ALONE IS COOL AF and his design still looks pretty canon to how fo4 ghouls look and even tho some ppl don't like fo4 designs they still are canon in the lore now so it's not necessarily the make up design that's the problem
I AM NOT ONE TO DEFEND PRIME OR BIG COMPANIES but i also think the actors and artists involved are doing a good job so far and goggins isn't too bad looking ghoul wise imo
Wild how Fallout ghoul Walton Goggins looks like just some guy in makeup. I feel like they somehow made him more...uhhh... normal? sanitized charming basic looking?.
meanwhile look at him in Maze Runner - The Death Cure
*points * ghoul
Hes weird silly character actor why not utilize and exaggerate that..Can still be charming
Look at this beautiful Thailand surprise… got to meet up with Raylan Givens for lunch today. Talk about comforts from home…Just what I needed. What a good man. The road we’ve walked.
