MINI DESCRIPTIONS OF THE MOON SIGNS: PART ½. ARIES THROUGH VIRGO.

i apologize if some signs seem more detailed than others. each section took the same amount of time, energy and thought. regardless, i hope this resonates with you. x

ARIES MOONS are internally headstrong and autonomous. They don’t need anybody for anything and prefer getting shit done by themselves, on their own terms. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think that they’re overly aggressive for no reason. Aggressive about what they want, yes, but they won’t start fights out of nowhere. Will stand up for themselves if they feel threatened or put on the spot. If they blow up (which is rarely, to be honest), they probably won’t carry it over to the next day because they move on pretty quickly. Tends to be impatient with oversensitive types that need more coddling to open up. If you want to keep them around, don’t run away from the slightest bit of discord. Prove to them that you can stand your ground and they’ll respect that. But they cannot be controlled, told what to do or bossed around. They’ll do whatever they hell they want to do, regardless of how it makes you feel. Lives by the quote “speak your truth, even if your voice shakes”. Stand with them or get the fuck out of their way. Will take push back as a challenge that they just HAVE to win. Needs to have some sort of conflict or struggle to get through, or they’ll make their own. Has better control of their wild emotions once they’re older. The nurturing figure taught them to stand on their own, because they only person they can depend on is themselves. This parent was strong and never backed down from a challenge (for better or for worse). 

TAURUS MOONS are internally stable and generous. Although they’re ruled by Venus, they’re pretty stubborn about getting their way, which can lead to unnecessary conflict.  Show they feel through physical touch and gift giving. They’re emotionally connected to their belongings, so if they let you borrow something, it means that they trust you with their entire heart. Their idea of a perfect night is laying in silk sheets, eating chocolates and listening to jazz music. Every piece of their belongings has personal significance. GEMINI MOONS are internally restless and energetic. They often struggle with feeling their emotions, but don’t have an issue with explaining them. Because they’re ruled by mercury, they’re always thinking of a logical explanation to their feelings so they can quickly discard them and move on. To them, there’s a lot more things that they’d rather be focusing on. Easily distracted. Won’t get offended if you take forever to text back, because they most likely forgot about the conversation anyway. sense of humor was developed at a young age. Definitely makes memes to make their loved ones laugh, and they’re personally offended if they receive a lukewarm response. If you want to catch their attention, strike up a conversation. They’re always willing to chat about their latest intellectual findings. Communication nurturers their soul. If they’re in a bad head space, let them ramble and talk it out, even if it doesn’t make sense at the moment. They need to get out their emotions in order to make sense of them. Books are important to them, because they’re always reading and learning new things about the world.  Their nurturing figure was most likely popular, youthful and pushed for their education. This parent was typically on the phone, babbling away, and preferred to keep busy. The mental connection between the two is strong, and the Gemini moon will never forget the lessons and teachings that were taught.

CANCER MOONS are internally intuitive and compassionate. Due to their strong connection with mother moon, their moods are as unpredictable as the tides. Their inner soul is nurtured by entertainment, theater and all things fun.Their nurturing figure was prideful, loud, and managed to make a spectacle out of each and every mood swing.

VIRGO MOONS are internally wise and nurturing. They often spot the inconsistencies in their everyday life and never miss a detail. Think about the story “Princess and the Pea” - it’s exactly how a Virgo moon would act if something was out of place. Order and consistency helps them feel emotionally secure. Writes list of the emotions that they feel so they can better categorize it. That list is either internal, or physically expressed on paper. It might not look like they care much on the outside because they show how they feel through their actions. Too hard on themselves because they’re hypercritical of everything that they do. The only time that they will judge other people is if their own system is out of whack. Their stress manifests in a physical way. Stomach aches are common due to their sensitive gut. Phil - Hercules

My first thought for Aries was Phil for a couple of different reasons. In the movie he puts up a tough front- he’s a fighter no doubt. But underneath it all he still loves and cares about his friends and family, and he doesn’t do a very good job of hiding that. I doubt he was trying at all.

Taurus

Gus - Cinderella

Taurus was a little more difficult for me but during my search I found one of my favorite sidekicks ever- Gus. He’s a funny, loveable mouse that always stays in trouble. He’s loyal and thankful to Cinderella, and I think his personality matches up with the typical Taurus perfectly.

Timon and Pumbaa - The Lion King

It’s always hard to pair Gemini to just one thing due to their split personality, so the lovable and laughable pair of Timon and Pumbaa seemed perfect to represent Gemini. Timon is an anxious and worrisome ferret, always suspecting the worse of everyone and thing. Pumbaa is a fun-loving carefree spirit, both matching Gemini to the fullest.
