I'm a gardener for a living, hobby fishkeeper, hobby quailkeeper. Love orchids.
Here's my nearly dead YouTube channel:

Halfway there. This time it's the bottom left tank. Another 25l, and it's filled to the brim with Weeping moss.
It's also filled with a unspecified number of dwarf crayfish (Cambarellus diminutus). Now and then I'll fish some out to sell, but I haven't counted them since I put the first pair in. I also buy and add a few new ones every year to prevent too much inbreeding.
They seem to like it in there; there are always babies and I haven't seen ones with missing legs/claws from infighting.
It's definetly not a great to look fishtank, but as long as they like it I'll leave it like that.
Also interesting to see that they built little tunnels and paths in the moss, like ants in earth.
The one in the middle. It's a 50l and one of the tanks I redid a few weeks ago. It looked like this:
After redo like this:
Yesterday it looked like this before the waterchange, lol. Algae attack in full swing.
After some cleanup and waterchange:
Hoping the plants will grow in soon.
It's home to a small group of Ember/Amber tertras and one male Plakat betta. His name is Raphael, the bottomless pit, cause all he ever does is beg for food. I actually have to pay attention not to feed him too much, unlike Piccolo, who is a slow and deliberate eater.
Shrimp will join them, after I've confirmed that Raphael won't eat them. I'll add some weeping moss too, but right now it would just get consumed by algea. I've made that mistake often enough to know by now.
After I've redone the 180l (or 160l? I always forget, I'll have to measure again, it's 1m)(EDIT: I just measured it, it's actually 200,lol. My colleague gave it to me and said it was 160,thats why I always forget)
I decided to rehome the few fish that remained in it and I can't put in other tanks I have.
So after that I got some new fish for it.
A group of dwarf spiny eels; and I was lucky enough to get a group of 6 L501 from a breeder, together with a pair of snow ancistrus.
I'm thinking of adding small swarm fish, but that can wait.
I've learned, as a rule of thump, never to put in all fish at once. Always add in stages and observe. I tend to wait at least 1 week between adding new fish.
