THEY NEED HELP PAYING FOR THE LAST BIT OF AMENITIES ( van. food. gas. etc. )

It's a trip from Minnesota to Missouri on Febuary 28th - 29th

GOAL IS 800 USD

This would be to cover the Moving Van costs (she is being driven by her sibling and wants to help pay for it)

It's rounded up by 20 to hopefully cover some small buffers like gas or additional things/fees that might come up! If we break past it then she can help pay for any other extra things post move in, too!

She has been hot-potatoed in abusive households for a whole 30 years. It would help loads if you pitched in or shared!

As a fellow Silent Hill obsesse , I just want to let you know that James adding the nine red squares to his jacket is a genius detail and I'm sad that I didn't think of it first

Ah!! Thank you! It's so funny, I think the very first iteration of the red squares on the sleeve was literally just a visual placeholder because I was drawing him after first getting into the series and couldn't remember what his actual patch looked like.

Only for it to become a big fanfic plot point and (apparently) something that wound up being associated with me specifically later on, lol!

I'm really glad it stands out in a positive way!

For instance, everything is the same except: in the first game she wasn’t burned for the ceremony, and was somehow extricated and went on to become one of the cult leaders (or the right-hand man), what would she be like if she was erratic and lethal?

Uh...well, it kind of sounds like you've got it covered already!

To be completely honest, Alessa is interesting to me as a character largely BECAUSE she's falsely set up in the narrative to be evil and then winds up not. So I don't really have any headcanons or thoughts for the opposite scenario. I like Alessa as is, and the fact that she ISN'T evil already seems to fly over a lot of surface-level fans' heads to begin with, to the point that it's kind of a pet peeve of mine to see people unironically portraying her as a stereotypical sadistic evil child. (I know that's not explicitly what you're talking about, but just figured I should mention it).

She's """""evil""""" in the movie though so I would guess it would more or less wind up like it does in that.

(Hi hello so sorry if this isn't what the ask box is for) I just read Gravity and I loved it a lot. Huge fan of the dialog, I can hear all the respective characters speaking in my brain. Your writing also made my chest hurt more than a few times because boy howdy is Mr. Sunderland having a bad time. Loved the humor as well, definitely got a snort or two outta me.

Thank you so so much for your kind words, I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far. Giving the story a good clean update has been really rewarding for a lot of reasons, but especially that it's gotten some new eyes on it! It means a lot to me that the characters' voices come through that clearly to you(and of course I always enjoy hearing that the humor is effective, lol!). More bad times are ahead for Mr. Sunderland I'm afraid, but it's all for the best. :)

The chapter I'm currently editing/refreshing is an absolute monster lengthwise, so I can't make any promises on WHEN I'll next have an update, but I hope you'll enjoy it when I do!
