THE CASE OF THE CRIMSON LADY:PART TWO
It’s time for part 2 of our case!
Through the team’s amazing research and discussion, it has been discovered that The Crimson Lady is in fact Lady Christina Melton, the wife of Lord Melton who was the mansion’s original owner.
The lord and lady were victims of a burglary and were murdered when Lady Christina refused to give the thieves her sapphires that she had hidden during the attack. Those sapphires were found by our current client in their basement and accidentally sold six months ago, a fact he failed to mention in his first interview.
With the object tying her to the house gone, The Crimson Lady in theory should have moved on but has not and became violent so this is where the team comes in.
Now that our characters have discussed the case in threads, it’s time for our team to go into the field and do what they do best: find the truth, document their findings, and leave the situation better than they found it. It’s time for The Crimson Lady to leave this earthly plane, once and for all.
For our final part of this case, interactions can now take place within the house . Characters can explore the house and encounter The Crimson Lady in all her scary glory. The Crimson Lady is not a fan of the team so have fun with that but as this is a medium threat case (our next one is high!) characters should not be extremely injured nor possessed by her, anything below that is fair game!
Additional clues will be thrown out as the week goes on and our case will come to end in one week!

No,just two, thank you! If you have questions about activity, it’s best to come off anon and speak with me. I will not be doing scheduled activity checks here as I have said before. When I believe someone’s activity is in question, I will reach out to them first before posting it here.

When will you be around? When are activity checks and how active is the dash?
I am always around, I do work from home and play a character here but I try to answer everything in a timely manner! Activity checks are not scheduled due to the current state of the world but will happen when I see a significant change in activity, and the dash is nice and active.

THE CASE OF THE CRIMSON LADY:PART ONE
WELCOME TO OUR OPENING DAY AND WELCOME TO OUR VERY FIRST CASE!
I am so excited to have everyone here and to see all these amazing characters on the dash! You may now plot with one another and post ooc interactions as well. Please make sure that your character’s pronouns and name and your pronouns and alias are easily accessible on your blog. They will be added to our ooc page sometime this evening.
Please post any important information about your character within the next week using the tag para:bio. This can be in the form of an intro or the bio you submitted with your application. This is not optional. Please follow and tag your bios to our starter and intro blog @parareports where all starters and intros will be reblogged.
As we are just starting here is how this works: For the next few days, your characters will discuss the case, whether or not they think it’s a real haunting, what they think entity actually is, mostly just chatting with each other as everyone settles into their characters and establishes their relationships.
Locations: HIPR is located on campus and every character has their own office to work in and a meeting room for all case briefings and group work. There is a floor for dorm style suites for them to stay when they don’t feel like going home. Threads can be set anywhere on campus, the institute or their own homes, but no one should be at our client’s house just yet.
Context: Everyone except The Assistant has been on the team for a least three to five years. They work as a team and work well.
If our activity is high enough and everyone is ready, we will move onto Part Two, where our characters will actually get to do on site work and encounter our entity of the week.
As you begin to plot, please include all our members. We are a very small group,no one should be left out. As this is our warm up case, no one should be brutally maimed or full on Damien in The Omen. Not yet.
