Basic Information:

Short Description Torratacs are canine sized quadruped predators found in Paradox. They popular pets among the locals and can dominantly be found in the desert regions.

Social Behavior Torratacs are highly intelligent predators known to lure prey into pre-meditated traps. They travel in small (3-7) to medium (8-16) groups, with a hierarchy of single leading alpha (Usually female). They claim large regions of territories between the beaches of the deserts and canyons, burrowing dens with a wide network of entrances and exits. They can be found venturing into the tree lines when food is scarce. Their long serpent body shapes allow them to slither into the soft water-like sand of Paradox to pick off small prey or to avoid larger predators.

Appearance Torratacs resembles canine quadrupeds but have long elongated bodies, short legs and a tail that resembles a snake. They have a long snout with canine teeth and two retractable fangs that is laced with venom that causes a temporary induced psychosis. Their front paws have three fingers and disposable thumbs (much like Raccoons, which helps them to grip, climb and carry food), their back feet has four canine-like toes. None of their nails are retractable. They have big cup-like ears, much like hyenas or wild dogs and these ears can come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Their bodies are covered in a thin layer of fur, with a mane that runs down their spine. Their tails are rodent-like, with snake like scales on the bottom and a thick tuft of fur on the base. The tuft of fur on the base of the tail can come in a variety of lengths. 

Difference between Male and Female? 

Male and female have reproductive organs much like normal canine. They are mammals so the female gives birth, but the father is the one who raises the cubs.

Food : Torratacs diet consist of both meat, nuts and plants. (If its edible, they will eat it.) Their main source of food are prey half their size or smaller. Large hunting parties have been spotted taking down prey many times their own size by luring them into traps. Their usual tactic would be to burrow networks to unstable the ground then lure or chase their prey over it. The ground will give in, the prey will fall and they will slowly consume it, starting on limbs and working inwards to keep the prey alive for as long as possible. To assist the success of their hunt they will nip at their prey to induce a temporary psychosis, when a large dose is given, it can even slow down blood loss, allowing the Torratac to take their time in devouring their prey. When food is scarce, Torratacs will turn to scavenging or eat other predators carcasses. In rare occasions they may go cannibalistic and eat the weakest of their pack. 

Predators: Raruskas and Torratacs are a rival species. The champions of the encounter usually depends on the tactic and numbers. Raruskas are known to fall prey to Torratac traps but a pack of Raruska wouldn't hesitate to kill a stray Torratac. Training them to co-exist can be a difficult task.

Combat: Torratacs rely more on their wits, poison and speed than brute strength. Quick on their feet and excellent diggers, they can avoid most predators. When hunting or cornered they will turn to poisoning the opponent (Torratacs themselves are immune to the poison). Their long serpentine bodies also comes in handy when navigating through the sand and wrapping around a smaller prey to demobilize them.

Skills:

Poison: Causes a temporary induced psychosis and if used in large doses causes the thickening of blood that slows down blood loss.

New and improved Rowtag! This is what happens when I mix some of my favorite animals. A new species is born. Name of species? Torratacs (roll that R baby). 

They come in a medium to large canine size. Like German Shepards or a Wolf. They are very intelligent pets and not really meant to be mounts, unless the rider is tiny and light. Short Description

Raruska, sometimes referred to as the mouse raptor, are horse sized mammal found in Paradox. They are a species of monotremes, a mammal that lays eggs instead of giving birth. The first Raruska was found wandering the edge of the base, suggesting the species are native to the desert.

Social Behavior

Raruska have overcome the harsh terrain and large amount of predators by traveling in groups, using pack mentality to overcome individual weaknesses. The packs are small (3-8) to medium (9-20) with a hierarchy of a leading alpha pair.

The three packs structures:

Families. Much live wolves. Main pair with children and a couple of family members (siblings.) 

Dominating Male packs. Lead by two males. 

Dominating Female Packs. Lead by two females. 

Appearance

Raruska are horse sized Raptor like creatures with feet that closely resemblance a mix of emu and camel. The bottom of their feet has thick skin with a wide surface spread to help stay afloat on the desert sand. They have three toes, and their toenails are made from thick Keratin.  On the back of their heel, there are five short, stumpy horns made of keratin. Their hands have three digits: pinky, middle and index (the middle being the largest of the three) with a smaller thumb lower down. The claw-like nails on the hands are large and hooked inwards like talons, designed to rip through thick skin or peel off large scales. They have large and strong legs for running, small arms and a elongated neck similar to a raptor. Their tail is large , designed to  improve balance and can often be found decorated with fur. Their ears come in different sizes and like most canines, raise and fall to express emotion. Their eyes are small and expressive, their heads taking a rodent shape with a large, arching head crest similar to a Parasaurolophus.

Difference between Male and Female?

Males have a line of Keratin nubs that runs down the back of its neck, known as a Keratin Crown.

Food Raruska diet mostly consists of meat. Their main source of food are prey half their size or smaller. Large hunting parties have been spotted taking down prey many times their own size. When food is scarce, Raruska will turn to scavenging or eat nut like fruits from the foliage resembling Cactaceae. Theses Cactaceae also provides the necessary sap to avoid dehydration.

Predators:TBA

Combat:Raruska attack with a quick 'snap and flee' strategy, tiring out its prey before moving in for the kill. They have strong powerful hind quarters, allowing them to maneuver around with great agility and leap a fair distance. They use their strong jaw and saw-like teeth to grip onto their prey, while their front hands with its long talons dig into the flesh, with fast quick shredding slashes. Most killing blows are done with their claws.  

Skills:

Crest: The arching head crest upon the Raruska's head is not solid bone, but hollow, allowing air to move through and a variety of click sounds to project (this can also be used for communication). This clicking sound works similar to the high-frequency sonar a bat projects. The Raruska uses this to read the sand, detecting where it can step on hard sand and avoid sinking in the soft sand.

Aura: All Raruskas have auras which are passive boosts and also gives them resistance to certain elements (most auras only take effect after training).

Meet Rux, in her Albatross-Zero outfit. She is the handler of Dova.

Rux is a Dalico from Paradox. They can be found in medium to large tribes on the desert plains. Norva are popular mounts of the Dalico’s , large Shire sized cats.  Dova is older than Rux, and look after her as if she is her own cub. Rux is in the same tribe, and lover of Aiden. Crocoa as an Udutac.   Finally finished Cro. He has been lying around half complete for months now. I was going to give him a jacket but eh, later. XD Want to show off this fluff butt now.  

Udutacs are part of the Tac family. They come in three types. Large: Udutacs. Medium: Torratacs. Small: Tikitacs . The Udutac are about horse size. (14-15 hands measured by shoulder.) They originate from the ice planes in Paradox. There are scattered groups of wild desert Udus (Like Cro here) but they aren’t very common. You are more likely to see a tamed ones in the desert region. Crocoa is the companion of Lockie. They are an unlikely pare do to the fact that  Neh'kar (Lockie) don’t usually venture as far as the desert Regions in Paradox. Lockie is an orphan of the great war and is practically been adopted by the large Udutack Crocoa.
