#s and I recently went through our safe which has all our important documents #and we were like ‘how long do we need to keep tax documents in case we get audited? 7 years? 10??’ #and we looked it up on the irs website. guys. it’s 3 years #but we were like. this cannot be right #I don’t care if you are the literal irs. 3 years must be a mistake #so we printed off that page from the irs website and put it in the box too #while we pulled out our tax returns from fuckin 2014 to put in the shred pile #and of course panicked the whole time
