yippee! im glad you asked! sorry this took a bit, but i was a bit busy being autistic somewhere else <3

so anyway zenith, he's the black and white bird (a mockingbird) and the protagonist of my story - todays forecast. the story itself is about a bunch of birds working at a small tv station in the 80s (named chroma local), and the antics that come with it. it's located in the fictional country of traugenland, which is.. based heavily on central europe. there's more to it, of course (strange things are happening..) but that's the basic gist of it.

zenith is the newly appointed tv weatherman there - which is basically a dream job for a man who loves infodumping about the weather in front of a camera. people watching his weather reports found his enthusiasm for the subject endearing, luckily (or unluckily?) for him. he's originally from illinois, where he did amateur stormchasing in order to find and record the most impressive storms he can find. his eagerness for tracking severe weather is ever present, even if the weather in the city of chroma is usually milder.

andy (the blue and orange one, a fulmar) does not work for chroma local. he's the main weatherman for the country's biggest network - TNN (traugenland national network), and he does.. not share zenith's passion in the weather. he's only in it for the attention, he always wanted to be a comedy actor instead. but people don't find him terribly funny, so he took what he can get. really folks find him kind of forgettable, DESPITE him reporting on the nation's weather, which must sting quite a lot if you're only in it FOR the attention.

the rivalry between these two is largely one sided. zenith isn't really aware of andy (let alone that andy is jealous of him), but andy.. he doesn't understand WHY people are giving that guy attention and not him. he doesn't understand why his BOSS (terrence..) is giving zenith more attention than he is to him. and that makes andy pissed off, since he feels like he deserves the love more.

anyway - yeah terrence would fire andy for zenith. no zenith isn't all that interested in betraying chroma local. enjoy these doodles everyone.

Why don't Deimoss and Miso get along? How did Nettie and Deimoss meet?

Yeah, it's me (de nuevo, amo aquí)

Okay so imagine your biggest desire and dream that you can't have no matter what has been accomplished by the person that you absolutely despite -

That's just (1) of the reasons Miso doesn't like Deimoss on the surface. The hate is really one-sided on Miso's part tbh, Deimoss just doesn't like him, is uncomfortable, and it makes his back shiver being near him, but he doesn't know Miso enough to have boiling hate for him.

But Miso knows Deimoss enough to want him gone. Miso has dreams of having autonomy, a body to itself, for millions of years, And a desire to """""help"""" others.

And then this guy that is the same as him comes by with the body out of nowhere and has everything he had ever wanted and does nothing with it and just makes things worst for everyone around him, well, he's beyond pissed off.

He also just hates how cocky Deimoss is and his lack of care.

And in a more personal level, he also hates him for being the reason why, his closest friend is traumatized.

And how Nettie and Deimoss meet - that Miso big scheme! In summary: It's literally for plot reasons!

Miso follows the rule of the paranormal: ask permission. He can't take things for himself so usually what he does is:

(1) Find a miserable person

(2) Be kind enough to trust you.

(3) Take advance (get what you want!)

He usually waits for people to be in enough distress to offer deals.

So he needs to make Nettie traumatized enough for her to handle her heart voluntarily. (make someone optimistic give up his hard)

And Deimoss to care for other living being enough to use it against him. (Making someone who has given up on life to care is hard)

That's why he puts them together in this "big adventure" from point A to point B, for literally bonding. (Also Nettie as well as D have their own motives for following that)

(Nettie and D are the side A of the plot [Silly adventure with action] while Miso and Rared are the side B behind everything [Character studies and complot])

But if you want to know literally how they meet, it involves a burglary and a bear trap.
