I'm a big fan of The Exorcist TV show on Fox, which this blog is all about. Check out our fan podcast here or subscribe on iTunes, in which my friends @LetZoeSpoilYou, @Herbeloved82, and I rewatch and deep dive into this amazing show. I’m also a long time fan of Supernatural. Enjoy all things horror, comedy, and a combination of the two. Find me on “the twitter” @PandoraTHExplor (that’s how the kids say it, right?) & join in the Exorcist conversation on our group chat! DM me for the link.
when you’ve had a Day and the man of your dreams shoved you up against a wall before kicking you out of his room at sad priest jail and now a demon girl is killing rats and blaming it on you
The dedication to the details within the pages of a prop that gets just a few seconds of screen time...guys, STOP I’m 😩😩😩😩
Marcus Keane’s bible
Or, well, the secondary version that I ended up winning in the auction. Not nearly as many marked up pages as the hero version obvs, but still quite a few. I think this might be the version they used in season 2 as it does appear a bit more ~cleaned up on screen? IDK. Please excuse the terrible phone pictures taken on my bed lmao, but this is really all I’m capable of right now. Putting most of these under a cut because there are a lot. I apologize to anyone on mobile if the cut doesn’t do its job. xD
Thank you @clockheartedcrocodile for sharing these!!! ❤️❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
My lot from the Exorcist prop auction arrived in the mail today, a full two weeks before I was expecting it!
Here we’ve got three of Marcus Keane’s sketchbooks, along with their certificate of authenticity.
Inside the two larger ones there are eleven filled pages total, five of which are non-sexual but uh, very intimate Stalker Drawings of Tomas. The other six are (I’m fairly certain,) St. Anthony’s.
All these drawings are still in the notebooks, except one drawing of Tomas, which is loose. Some of the St. Anthony’s ones are very refined and nice, while others are rougher, more outlined and sketch-like.
But then in the little sketchbook.
In the little sketchbook there are a lot of Marcus’ diary entries. I haven’t read the whole thing yet, and I’m still debating whether or not I should type it up. But there’s a whole story in here, about something that happened to him. I don’t know what yet. Again, I haven’t read the whole thing.
It goes on like this for about half the notebook, then dramatically stops.
I am… frankly overwhelmed. This show means so much to me, and has been such a comfort during a very dark time in my life. I’m so happy to have a little piece of its history like this.
Hiii! Some fluffy headcanons for Tomarcus?? Because they are the fluffest and purest 🌈✨
Okay I’ve been thinking about clothes sharing a lot lately so how about we consider:
Marcus winding his old ratty scarf around Tomas’ neck as he stands shivering in the cold one morning. Tomas tries to protest but Marcus just glares at him and slips his fingers around the back of Tomas’ neck to make sure he’s left no spaces for the air to get through. Tomas may or may not feel the memory of Marcus’ fingers there for hours after.
Marcus taking Tomas’ hands and slipping his fingerless gloves onto them for good measure, muttering about buying Tomas a proper coat and hat at the nearest thrift shop, and Tomas feeling warmed from head-to-toe for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with a scarf or gloves.
Marcus pulling on a pair of Tomas’ sweatpants one day after a shower, probably walking around their motel room with them slung way too low on his hips and giving Tomas the start of his life when he comes back with dinner and is forced to keep his eyes above the waist while attempting to cover the rising blush on his cheeks by making some snide remark about Marcus always taking his things.
(but like Tomas definitely just needs Marcus to keep wearing those sweatpants and nothing else for the rest of their lives because he’s definitely never seen anything more appealing)
Marcus slipping his leather jacket off and draping it over Tomas’ shoulders when the temperature plummets on their walk back from some hole-in-the-wall one evening. Tomas may or may not express his gratitude this time by pressing a kiss to Marcus’ cheek just outside the door to their room before slipping inside, leaving Marcus blushing beneath the sodium lights, pressing his fingers to the spot where Tomas’ lips left their mark.
If you think Marcus has any sweaters left that don’t smell like Tomas Ortega I don’t know what to tell you.
Marcus wearing Tomas’ old t-shirts from college because there’s nothing better than something so soft and threadbare and emblazoned with a half-faded Loyola logo that’s been living next to Tomas’ skin for so many years.
If you wanna think about Tomas pulling on a pair of Marcus’ skin-tight jeans and what that does to Marcus in the process, you do so at your own risk.
4 out of 5. 4 gifs out of 5, Marcus is the one asking Tomas if he’s okay.
Because 4/5ths of the time Tomas is doing shit like running into a house full of demons when he was specifically told to NOT RUN INTO A HOUSE FULL OF DEMONS. 😂
