Secret Life spoiler!!!
It's been a couple hours and somehow I can't stop thinking about how the one time Scar stayed away from Grian, willingly or not, he won.
For once Icarus didn't give in to the temptation of the Sun and he managed to fly freely.
(might actually explain myself in the morning. now it's too late in the night for me to express complex thoughts lol)

What if...
He always had more than one curse.
Sure, the canary curse was bad, Jimmy was tired of always dying first and getting mocked for it. Of getting called a Canary. That curse affected him, and him alone, in ways that other people could never understand.
But maybe that's why he never realized They really liked picking on him. His other curse never affected him, so why would he care?
Why would he even know?
He never sticked around enough as a ghost to see the effect his death would have on his allies.
He never sticked around enough to see them loose their minds.
Let me explain...
It all started back in 3rdLife when Scott lost his mind and became extremely vengeful after the death of his husband. He wanted one thing and one thing only: make the people that killed Jimmy pay for it. He wanted Skizz dead; and Skizz dead he got. He wanted Ren and Martyn dead; and dead he tried to get them. But he failed.
He himself said that Joel would have most likely failed when trying to take on the two alone, even with his army of dogs, so he decided to help him.
But when Joel died he didn't give up. He still gave chase to Martyn.
And he died.
And he gave it another try. Alone.
He knew that was a foolish idea, and yet he went to try and retrive his stuff, ready to fight them if needed.
Then was Martyn's and the Southeners' turn.
The group didn't stick together after he and Mumbo died one right after the other.
Impulse and Grian rarely passed by the Southlands, but Martyn didn't leave.
Martyn never found the strength to leave.
He still voiced Mumbo's intros and kept the joke going even if no one was there to see it.
He stayed there, acting as if the only ones to not be there were the two other people still alive.
He talked to the ghosts of his friends.
Then came Tango.
He was somehow lucky enough to be spared from loosing his mind.
After all the Canary dragged him down with him.
But that didn't stop him from waiting for Jimmy in the after life, knowing he wouldn't come.
When it came to Joel in LimitedLife it was evident that something was severely wrong.
He was already inclined to losing his mind when reaching his red life, everyone knew it. But that time he was way more reckless than he usually would have been.
Recklessness is one thing. Stupidity is another.
And exposing himself to the rest of the server during a fight, in a desperate attempt to get more time was definitely stupid.
And now it's Martyn's turn all over again.
Which is funny if you think about it.
None of his previous allies were foolish enough to closely ally with Jimmy again. But he was.
He allied with Jimmy again and he's loosing his mind again.
He already lost his mind.
He can't stand hearing the other players laughing about his allies' death. And you could think: but who could?
No one, of course. But doesn't his reaction seem a little too... extreme? Even for the one who decided to turn on his own ally back in Limited Life to win?
Back there he had a reason to act the way he did. He wanted to win. But now? Now there's no actual reason other than wanting to avenge his ally.
And at that comes the question again: wasn't his reaction a little too extreme?

“Cringe culture is dead” isn’t just about letting 15 year olds cosplay MHA (but is also an issue). It’s about letting 50 year olds dance at clubs even if they’re “bad at it”, it’s about letting 10 year old’s wear random bits of clothes to make an outfit that’s “weird”, it’s about letting adult men experiment with artsy makeup looks even when they’re “messy”, it’s about letting teens scream music even if they “sound bad”.
“Cringe culture is dead” means letting people learn new hobbies at any age, experiment with their identity at any time, expressing themselves in ways outside the norm just as much as it means let 20 year olds play roblox.
Cringe culture is just social norms being forced on people rebelling against societies value consensus, it’s keeping people in brackets that are easier to market to.
Let cringe culture be dead in every aspect of life outside online spaces.

I doodled this in around 5 minutes, but the demons wouldn't leave my brain (let's all ignore the fact that Gem came out a little shorter than she actually is)
With the confirmation on the Imp&Skizz podcast that Scott Smajor is AS BIG AS SKIZZ and gives EVEN BETTER HUGS THAN SKIZZ we now know that canonically, Gem and the Scotts looks kinda like this

I keep seeing critics talking about the fnaf movie being poor but it literally isn't for them. I saw someone else saying the movie's a love letter to the fandom and i WHOLEHARTEDLY agree.
This is how i took it: We, the fans, are Anton Ego, the critic from Ratatouille; the ratatouille was special to us because it was our childhood. I hate ratatouille (the food), but to Anton Ego it was everything. Critics don't like the fnaf movie because they only have the movie as context, but to fans, the fnaf movie is everything and we love it even though it's a little cringey. In fact we love it BECAUSE it's cringey in some cases.
Like no new viewers would get the chica's magic rainbow part, or the MatPat reference, or the whole ongoing bit about Dream Theory sucking, or understand how hype the whole ending part was.
I was lucky to be in a cinema full of fnaf fans, and we were cheering and laughing, and screaming at the references. People got up when the movie ended and SAT BACK DOWN when the living tombstone came on. We shouted the letters of the code, and screamed when Matpat said his line. People clapped and cheered at the end, and people were crying at the parts where they were treating the animatronics with love and affection.
No critics would understand how much fans want to interact with the animatronics in a positive way, or understand how much importance the five seconds of its me on the mirror means in implications of the lore. They wouldn't understand because they haven't been waiting a good part of a decade to see this movie. They came, they saw, and that's it, it was a second of their life, but to us it was everything. This is our ratatouille, made to impress us, not the other people in the restaurant. This was our movie, a love letter to the fandom, not the critics.
I like the changes to the story, because it puts us back at square one. We're fumbling to rearrange lore and timelines. We have to rearrange names, and start with a blank slate, and it feels like a homecoming where to critics, it might feel a little messy.
We've been given a chance to start the journey all over again and i fucking love it so much. Because i'm an adult, and all of a sudden, i'm twelve years old again and we're trying to figure out if phone guy is chica, and struggling our way through whatever the fuck was happening in fnaf 3 to get the good ending. The critics don't get this.
They don't understand how hype the midnight motorists reference is, nor did they care about the references on the chalkboard. Or the code at the end, or the song choices, or the lore implications. They don't understand the sudden lore drop of william afton, or the way he's acting, but we do. They don't understand the vengeful spirit, but we do. Nothing is explained to the audience, because we don't need it to be explained.
This is our ratatouille, and we love the rats in the kitchen.

Hey, y'all remember we did the Scar support weekend that one time? Maybe it would be cool to do that or something similar for Joe Hills of Nashville Tennessee? I know his fanbase isn't nearly as big but considering the sexyman poll nonsense I think it still will be pretty great!

I love this, but as someone who's obsessed with flowers and their meanings I would like to add another little detail to the cacti ring
A little premise: flower language varies from culture to culture. I am basing this on the things I knew and what I was able to find out through a little research.
In many cultures cacti themselves are connected with wanting to protect someone. In some cultures it symbolizes motherly love, but cacti are most commonly considered a way of saying "I want to protect you" when given to someone. Although cacti are also a symbol of endurance, courage and strength.
Now, moving on to the meaning of the cactus flowers:
Cactus flowers can symbolize high endurance, even in thought or painful situations. In Native American culture cacti flowers symbolize warmth and unconditional love towards the person that receives them.
So yeah, the fact that they fought in a cacti ring unintentionally show how much they actually cared about eachother. How much they saw the other as a strong person. How much they unconditionally loved eachother.
And I'm not even gonna start on the poppies and lilacs Scar gave Grian
the cactus ring was sad but there was so much love in it and i don’t think there could’ve been a better, sweeter or more honorable symbol of desertduo’s entire relationship in third life
