It is 6900% Blake talking to Yang.

I'm seeing it being the pivotal moment where they talk about their feelings; could be the bridge scene from the trailer, or another moment they get alone, and Blake initiates the conversation about this.

Yang tries to make a joke about/play off/excuse her self sacrificing tendencies and Blake has had enough of it. "No! No, it's not the place Yang."

There could be other conversation between this or it goes directly onto, "You're gonna get yourself hurt, you're gonna get yourself killed."

Either some sort of realisation/confessions, or best case scenario we get actual romantic actions i.e. smoochy smoochies.

And also. The "I'm not lost" doesn't sound like Yang though, it sounds more like Emerald to me, or maybe it's Alyx (the girl who fell through the world). But if it's Yang, I'm gonna be surprised!

people on twitter pointed out that in the overlapping lines part of inside you can hear “not the place, yang” that sounds exactly like blake and i didn’t hear it until i listened closely for it and you really can hear it clear as day… and it’s right before “you’re gonna get yourself hurt, you’re gonna get yourself killed” that ALSO sounds like blake

Another complaint about toxic shippers because they're still toxic, hun

I just think it's really interesting that I saw bee shippers constantly reminding ourselves and our fellow shippers to respect canon, respect the writers, and Monty's vision whether or not bumbleby happened. Especially if the b/s route was taken, we were adamant we'd take the high road and accept it.

Yet now we've basically predicted every damn beat of bumbleby's establishment and gotten everything that's needed to progress their relationship to the romantic level?

It's the toxic b/s shippers that are insisting canon means nothing, that it's only fanservice, that Monty is being disrespected by his friends he worked with for years, that ~wasps~ changed the story and demanded the gays be pandered to because they were happy to ignore and refute all the cues that were given - I guess so they could find no problem with complaining that bumbleby "came out of nowhere". If anyone has done even one of those things, I'm talking about them. I cannot express how much respect I have for the b/s shippers that had the decency to not utter or type a single one of those type of things, and just not act like a fucking child, over a fictional ship.

Now that RT has had the opportunity (and honestly probably the call from big daddy parent company Time Warner) to expand RWBY's content so much into other mediums - meaning they had to bring in more than just the crwby - these people that just can't accept and get over their ship not being canon, and will grasp everything they can from those other introduced mediums to use as a weapon to try and contradict what the true canon shows (i.e. in the animated series). In their minds having inconsistencies, 'retcons' and changes mean that there has been some grave mistake in what the original writers of RWBY have portrayed, even though it's reasonable to say that not everything is going to all fit together perfectly. They want nothing but perfection from the people they continue to disrespect by taking their work and skewing the canon for their own whims.

I guess when you don't get what you want you better cry, scream and yell that you've been wronged with all that you've got because you have nothing else left to go on?

If bumbleby still, for some reason, doesn't happen despite my confidence in it, I'm not going to stoop that fucking low. Disappointment will be rife (an understatement) in our community. But I can promise everyone I'm not going to do what they're doing. I know I wouldn't be the only one. I also know there would be some that would, and they would be just as bad and toxic as those b/s shippers that can't let go.

And ya know, I feel really bad for those b/s shippers that will be civil in their disappointment. But I'm starting to realise the toxic shippers don't deserve any sympathy whatsoever, and much like Adam, it's time they get what they deserved. And that's Blake choosing Yang. lmaoooo

I'm rewatching RWBY before V7 airs and I've only now just realised that during the bee's burning the candle talk...

...it's not just showing that Yang reveals a story and emotions she hides from everyone; that Yang trusts and cares about Blake to be vulnerable in front of her.

Because still, even if Blake takes it in, she isn't willing to let the issue go, or go to the dance. She is so determined to do things her way and not have anyone change her mind, and even preemptively tries to ward off Yang's efforts with a warning.

But Yang's reiterating it's not about giving up, and rather that she needs to be taking care of herself enough to be able to achieve her goals. Blake thinks Yang doesn't understand that this is about being an ex-White Fang member, and still refuses.

Yang's so frustrated that her eyes turn red, just like when she's fighting. They enter the shoving match and Blake's clearly weak enough to falter from a push, and Yang is, well, Yang. Blake wouldn't be able to fight Torchwick and, Yang argues Blake can't even stop her.

And at that moment, Blake's almost falling over the desk. She's facing Yang probably like she's faced Adam when he convinced her to do what he wanted. Blake does nothing, no longer pushing back, no longer arguing. She gets up and looks like she's holding herself back from defending herself as a red-eyed Yang steps towards her...

...and that time, Yang hugs her. And it's obviously not what Blake expected. Yang holds her, and asks her to please get some rest.

Instead of being manipulated, Blake realises Yang is doing this because she cares about her wellbeing. Yang didn't force her to do anything. She proved that she only wants what is best for Blake, and Blake learn that it is important to treat herself better.

And just like the commentary says - Gray notes there's visual-metaphorical lighting. Blake comes out of the shadows, into the light, because by the end of it, Blake is little sunnier for having been around Yang. Monty notes the talk was great for their characters, especially for them. There was a lot of growth and it happened very quickly.

After everything they've been through, how much more they've grown together since burning the candle, please V7 gift us SOFT HAPPY BEES!
