my one or two days of screen break turned into a month -- i’m back at work and now that i’ve sorta got my routine down again, i’d like to get back to writing! however ... tumblr hasn’t particularly been my scene for a while, and i have far too many muses and too little time to worry about keeping up with blog after blog after blog ... so! i have compiled a multi-muse list, my discord, and my email for some discord and/or email rp.

what would be most comfortable for me right now is perhaps discussing plots via discord, and then threading via email. but if this doesn’t work for you, while we plot and discuss, please just let me know your preference and maybe i can make a lil server or smth for us to thread in. thanks for your patience all, and i hope to get writing with you again! not only with Joel, but with many of my other muses as well <3

i’m gonna take another screen break today i think, i’m feeling blah. not for any reason in particular, i just think i’m getting sick LOL so i’m gonna do stuff in the yard today and keep myself busy (after my coffee ofc). maybe do some gardening or cut the grass or take a nap on the trampoline. i’ve noticed if i keep busy when i start feeling sick, then i can kinda bypass the worst of it so we shall see how i’m feeling later tonight and i’ll see if i can’t get some things done. sorry y’all! sore throats and headaches suck ://

hi, i’m on my shit again -- but i needed to place this somewhere while i work out timelines for my gatsby prequel & also my former drill instructor ass is seething at this information

we know gatsby was a big fuckin’ liar, but telling everyone he was a major in the first world war after only having been in the military for one year, or maximum two years including training, etc ... even with the possibility of his being thrown into a battalion leader role because of causalities in the field (which was not uncommon then, especially for his division), there’s no goddamn way he could have been anything more than a corporal -- and even then, if he had been thrown into a “major” rank, with the filling of positions due to casualties, the highest he could have been is a sergeant major. and that’s really pushing it, and really stretching the luck of gatsby. he’d have had to have months waived from his TIG in order to just become a corporal in that time frame, and even then he was just some penniless farmer’s child. unless he was a fucking damn good soldier in training and on the field, it’s just safer to assume that gatsby is a big fuckin’ liar (which we already knew), and move on from there.

but then there’s a five year gap between the death of dan cody and his time meeting daisy. he could have, theoretically, joined the military for the start of the world war like nick had -- wherein nick served in the 3rd division (good for him, he’s a fucking badass i don’t care what anyone says), but gatsby served in the 7th infantry division (which was only established in 1917), and he met daisy while in training. in 1917 ... so, what the fuck did he do in those five years? that’s for me to find out and write about my dudes 👈👈

this sucks -- everything about this sucks, for a better lack of words. the clip-clopping of hooves had been soothing in a sense. a living, breathing creature that didn’t want to snap down on his throat, or pull his guts out like a hunter dressing his kill was ideal in this day and age ... apparently. in truth, the man was still fucking confused, and all he really knew about what was going on was whatever information Morgan gave him. 

which Rick had taken with a grain of salt; considered the entire thing fallacious. perhaps a fever dream. maybe he was still in the hospital. maybe he was still in a coma? but then, maybe he wouldn’t be so self-aware were it a coma induced nightmare ... or perhaps he would be? Rick groans, shaking his head and grounding himself. there was no sense working himself up over theories and far-fetched existentialism. he had to live in the here and now.

unfortunately, the here and now just happened to be unsafe, like his gut had been telling him. and when greeted with a horde when rounding a block - kicked off the goddamn horse and made to run like a fool - the man had barely made it into a back alley and warehouse before he’s greeted with one more threat -- this one, at least, he felt more comfortable with. it wouldn’t be the first time he’d been held at gun point, and he knew that it certainly wouldn’t be the last time.

“ alright, ”   Rick tilts his head, hands up in a placating manner while he backs himself up against the cool wall.   “ alright. ”   a stare ... a silent standoff. he allows the silence to linger a moment -- tests the woman cautiously by shuffling his feet to the side slowly, though pausing at any indication that suggested she wasn’t fucking around.   “ if you’re gonna use it, make it worth it. i reckon this ain’t the time to be wasting bullets. ”

that’s right! i’m finally off my ass to do a mains call. but what does this mean, exactly?

i don’t like to do exclusives, as i feel the same character can be interpreted in many different ways, but consider my mains list as a VIP list of sorts!

all blogs/characters placed in my mains list will have first priority in terms of threads, inbox prompts, starters, etc. this also means you must be okay with my throwing random starters your way when the mood strikes, and also must be okay with my throwing inbox prompts at you whenever i see them on the dash and i feel like one applies to our muses! i won’t overwhelm you, but i’ll make a conscious effort to make your character one of my first priorities! 

now, considering i do have some featured muses now on Joel’s blog, you’re more than welcome to shoot me a private message to let me know whether or not you’d like to be placed on one of my other muse’s mains list as well! and if you do, (let’s say for arguments sake, you want to be placed on Rick’s mains list), not only will you get Joel love all the time, but you’ll get plenty of starters/prompts/etc from the other muse as well!
