Godzilla stared the other titan down, eyes scanning Kongs face trying to read....he could see the hesitation in his posture and soon he saw the look in his eyes. It was a look he knew well, he had seen it many times before..engraved in his mind. What was said next made the King freeze, the pain in the others voice.. Godzilla stayed silent for what seemed like moments, trying to analyze this situation...he knew exactly how Kong felt. He was the last of his kind, and he had forgotten that Kong was as well. “...You won’t be” he finally responded, shifting his weight and stepping towards Kong, he lowered his head slightly “I..feel the same way” he admitted.

There’s a tenantive hesitation in Kong’s posture, as if he was afraid. He knew what he was afraid of, and it haunted him like a shadow. He didn’t want to be alone again, he didn’t want to stare at the stars on his own for nights on end. Even after everything that had happened, it felt like Godzilla could be the only one like him he had left. He had the humans, but they didn’t quite understand the extent of his lonesome.

“I can’t be alone again.” he admitted, a melancholic pain in his voice.

Godzilla grumbled and snorted, maybe Rodan had a point, he forgot that others worried so much about him...especially now with everything he has to keep in check. Letting out a deep breath he lowered down more towards the winged titan “You’re right. I’ve been to uptight as of lately” he said.

Godzilla soon let out a small chuckle, raising to his full height again watching Rodan tuck his wings like he usually did when he was shy or embarrassed. Shaking himself out he pointed a claw “Mmm, fine you have a point” he admitted before continuing “but still, we both are busy dealing with things.”

He paused for a moment to think of what else to say...he was always awful at showing emotions. He grunted using his webbed claws to gesture “Everything has been stressful, I’m trying to keep...things together” he managed out. Hoping that came off correctly...

Rodan felt the the lower edge of his beak grind against the top in frustration. He wrapped his wings tightly around himself. Though his tone was curt, there seemed to be genuine concern hidden behind the layers of annoyance he wore along his expression.

“Don’t be daft,” He said, “I’ve been here. I always have been. You’re the one who’s gone off doing who knows what—“ His gaze shifted away momentarily, returning to the King’s afterwards.

“If you had gotten hurt, I wouldn’t have known. You need to be more careful.” Ah, so that’s why he was upset.

Godzilla let a low chuckle escape “Oh please, it was nice to have her to talk with while Madison was gone” he mused. He rolled his eyes at Kong before signing, shoulders lowering as he remembered the creature from Hong Kong. Shaking his head as he looked up at Kong “I hope not. Humans are tampering in things that they don’t know about.”

He soon moved to get down on all fours, stretching his arms out mouth opening in a rather large yawn. Moving to stand on his feet his snorted in agreement “I’d be an honor to have you fight by my side again.” He rumbled.

Godzilla grinned, leaning forward and tilting his head “Gia and Madison taught me, means coward does it not?” He mused, a bellow like laugh escaping past his maw. That laugh soon stopped and he snapped his head back, snorting at Kong…guess he deserved that one. He grumbled and turned away from Kong for a moment “I had it perfectly handled, but the help was appreciated” he admitted turning back to him. Godzilla tried to sign back the last bit to Kong, making sure his claws were more dignified…but it was still difficult with the webbing he adorned.

Kong rolled his eyes, “You are insufferable. I should have never let you look after Jia.” he shook his head. He didn’t truly regret it, for Gojira had taken good care of her in his temporary absence, but he’d reconsider his sitting options next time. A brow raised, accompanied by a chuff.

“Are you sure about that?” the King rumbled playfully.

“Hmph, you don’t think that thing will come back for us, do you? If they have more, then we will crush them all.” He made a gesture with his fist and finger to his chest, indicating the sign for crush.
