Runaway!GN!Reader meets their new trio of dragons...

Timeline: Race To The Edge [Part 1]

Runaway!Reader who fled their island in the middle of the night, only hours after hearing about their betrothal to some other tribe's heir.

Runaway!Reader who stumbles upon a Deathgripper that's injured, but still ready to fight and kill off any threats. It's stinger at the end of it's tail is exposed and ready to strike...until the Reader leaves and returns with fish they've managed to catch.

As the large dragon finally decides he can resist the fish no more, he begins to devour each one whole until nothing remains.

The Reader is just sitting there with their legs crossed and admiring this very dangerous dragon, mind racing with names and thoughts while the Deathgripper just stares back.

Finally settling on the name DeathStrike, after multiple growls and threatening displays at the other names mentioned, Runaway!Reader notices how the sun is beginning to set and starts to panic a bit.

As night falls, they realize just how much danger was really lurking about because where there's one Deathgripper, there's a pack of them.

Two more, equally frightening and dangerous, come charging out to defend the larger dragon with their tusks and stingers at the ready...but their injured pack mate snarls at them to back off.

DeathStrike has taken a liking to his new human!

He manages to stand and it's even clearer that he is the largest Deathgripper infront of Reader who's taken a few steps back and is panicking at the thought of being this pack of dragon's meal. They cower as the dragons approach and surround them, closing their eyes and tensing up as they prepare for pain.

But it never happens.

Instead they feel the snout of DeathStrike press against their hair, deep breaths inhales and hot puffs of air hit their skin, their eyes slowly open to see a lack of hostility amongst the pack.

A small pack of three male Deathgrippers isn't common amongst the species, but it also wasn't very common for these dragons to just claim a human as their new companion.

But now you're stuck with the trio of Deathgrippers who aren't keen on letting you go.

Imagine the first meeting with the Dragon Riders...

With his pretty little darling!Reader who was basically sold off to him in exchange for their island's safety

Darling!Reader is like a cute bunny next to him, always on edge and ready to bolt at any threatening sounds or movements

Yandere!Dagur HATES it when they're bothered by other pests vikings, those vikings just seem to vanish the next day and are usually found with their corpses all mangled up and barely recognizable

Should Darling!Reader ever try and run...they'll find themselves being chased across the whole Archipelago by Yandere!Dagur and the rest of the Berserkers

His people have grown attached to their new Chieftess and they need her to keep Yandere!Dagur calm or else his temper becomes too much

Now say that Darling!Reader is found by Hiccup and the other dragon riders, and the group decides to take them back to Berk...

Yandere!Dagur will lose it and rampage with his armada until you're back in his arms...

You were supposed to be the LOV's new guard dog but you ended up being their cute little puppy

Hybrid/human relationships weren't illegal as long as both were consenting adults

Kurogiri actually found you in the streets, half dead, and took you back to the hideout

Turns out, you were a fighting hybrid and had been tossed out when your owner thought you were dead or too weak to continue to fight

You had scars on your body, your tail had been cut to a stub, your dog ears were pointed and around your neck was a choker with small pointed studs

Dabi enjoyed tugging on your pointed doberman ears then stopping for a few minutes when you growled

Toga enjoyed wrapping and tying bows on your stubby tail

Mr Compress loved showing you his magic tricks, you had never seen any magic tricks so you always watched in wonder

Kurogiri helped you when you had panic attacks and struggles to adjusting to your new life

Shigaraki, at first, kept his distance

He remembers how he accidently turned his dog to ashes when he was a child

Then during the USJ attack, you took the bullets when you used your body to shield him

You were kept in his room while you healed and Shigaraki almost never left your side

Then another thing happened, just after you healed

You were just about to fall asleep when the door creaked open and something laid down beside you

You opened your eyes to see Shigaraki

You smiled before slowly cuddling up to him and the your tail, what was left of it, started wagging

He hesitantly pat your head, with his pinky raised despite wearing the special gloves you got him, before deciding to boldly pull you closer

Just when he was about to fall asleep, he heard you whisper,

"I love you"

So I just wanna say that I really enjoy writing bnha characters x fantasy/monster/hybrid readers.

Male or female or gender neutral readers, I don't mind. Anything is fine, I'm just really not good at writing smut and I do love angst to fluff stories. I'm perfectly fine with any relationships just not underage or incest.

I'm probably not going to be very active since I am busy but I'll try my best to post as much as I can.

• Bakugo is such a tsundere

• When he first met you, he thought you were badass but would never admit it

• In human form, you still had your wings and tail with a few patches of scales along your body

• Bakugo really loves how powerful you are, it makes him worry a tiny bit less about you getting hurt

• He loves how beautiful your e/c eyes are and how unique your pupils are, when you're happy and relaxed they are dilated but when you get aggressive, they change to slits

• Going in flights is a daily thing, he trusts you and thinks that you're so amazing when you're showing off a new trick you learn't

• Being a king, everyone would know about his dragon lover who will incinerate anyone who disrespects their human

• He appears to hate how protective you are but secretly loves how safe he feels around you

• Of course you never hover over him too much but God help the unfortunate soul who tries to hurt Bakugo...you're still a dragon and he's your mate

• Female dragons go through heats while male dragons go through ruts

• Bakugo takes the whole week off just to take care of your needs

• His parents also love you, they don't care if you're not completely human, you make their son happy and that's wonderful

• If any other dragon attempts to steal your mate from you, they will have their throat ripped out, dragons are incredibly possessive over their mates when a potential rival is in the area

• Nesting

• If you ever get pregnant or adopt children, your dragon instincts will cause you to make nests everywhere

• Throne room? Has about four nests, hidden in different corners and behind the thrones

• Kitchen? Lower cabinets are perfect for nests

• Bedroom? The king sized bed is now a king sized nest
