Since its inception, it was said that Honda is launching it to compete against the reigning emperor of this segment Maruti Swift DZire. Now its biggest aim would be to dishonor Swift DZire from the top most slot and take its place. The beginning is just awesome, and now Honda Cars have chalked out their plans which include the sale of 50,000 units of Amaze. Well, it may seem impossible to remove Maruti Swift DZire from this throne currently but the initial stats of advance bookings are depicting something else. Honda Amaze diesel variant is equipped with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC Engine which is the lightest in this segment. The boot space of Amaze is 400 litres and covered whereas the boot space of Swift Dzire is just 316 litres. In pricing both are almost similar but the top-end variant of Amaze has lot more to offer in lesser price than the Maruti Swift DZire.
