Anniversary Surprise
Au: Okay so the other chapter was taking too long so I decided that I’ll post this one first! This chapter does have some timeskips and stuff so I’ll point those out when they happen.
Plot: Yena decides to do something special for their anniversary with a little help from her members while still surprising them.
Tumblr media
~A few weeks ago~
Yena looked around the living room, smiling fondly at all the members. The ten of them were having a lazy morning together at the dorm, relaxing before they had to go to schedules later in the day. Everyone sat in various places around the room, talking quietly or sitting in silence with a book or on their phone. She noticed how relaxed everyone was as they lounged around and she turned her head to look downwards. Her smile grew at the sight of Jisung, who was laying on the couch with his head on her lap as Yena played with his hair. She absentmindedly ran her fingers through her through his hair, deep in thought. Noticing her distracted state, Jisung turned to look up at her and poked her cheek. In response, she blinks and looks down at him as he tilts his head.
“Is something wrong Noona?” he asked her. She smiled and ruffled his hair.
“Nothing, Sungie. I was just thinking.” she said, earning a curious look from Jisung. “I’ve been thinking of getting a tattoo.”
“A tattoo?” Jisung asked, his voice louder then hers as he sat up in surprise, gaining the other members’ attention.
“What about a tattoo?” Minho asked from his spot on the other side of the couch.
“Noona said she wants to get a tattoo.” Jisung answered him.
“Wait, really Gen?” Minho turned to Yena with a look of surprise.
Yena shrugs. “Yeah, I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but I just don’t know what it would be.” she said.
“Why haven’t you brought this up before if you’ve been thinking about it for so long?” Chan asked.
“Well I mean, I was still unsure about it until now. What do you guys think? Should I get one?” she asked. There was a moment of silence as everyone considered it. Then Changbin finally spoke up.
“I think if would be cool if you had a tattoo, Noona.” he says with a shrug, some of the other members nodding in agreement.
“You think so?” Yena responds.
“Yeah.” Chan chimed in. “It’s your choice if you want one or not, but either way, its fine by us.” he says.
Yena smiles. “Glad to hear that. “ she says. “Now onto the other thing dealing with the tattoo that I was kind of thinking about it.” she added.
“What other thing?” Jeongin asked curiously.
Yena took a moment to organize her thoughts. “So you know how I said I wasn’t sure what to get even if I get a tattoo?” she started looking at the others. “Well, I want my first tattoo to be something really special so...” she paused, dragging out the last word before continuing. “I want you guys to choose the tattoo for me.”
Her words were followed by silence as the nine boys processed Yena’s words. They all stared at her in surprise while she smiled at them, hopefully.
“...Genie are you sure?” Chan asked. “That’s a big deal, do you really want to give us the responsibility of something that will be on you permanently?” he adds, making Yena nod without any hesitation.
“Yeah, I want you guys to choose my first tattoo.” she said wit certainty in her voice. “I trust you guys and I want this tattoo to have a special meaning.” she explained. “I know I’ll love what you guys choose so... please?”
Minho sighed, then smiled. “If you’re absolutely sure about it. I guess we can.” he agreed, looking at the others, who hesitated a bit before agreeing, Yena smiled.
“We won’t disappoint you Noona.” Jisung said, leaning back down to lay on her lap again as she beamed at him.
“I know you won’t, Sungie.” she stated, ruffling his hair. “Oh! Don’t tell me what you guys decide on. I want it to be a surprise.” she added.
“Do you know where you want it though?” Woojin asked.
Yena nodded. “I’m thinking of putting it on the back of my shoulder.” she replied.
“We accept this mission!” Felix suddenly burst out, making everyone laugh,.
~Weeks Later~
Two weeks had passed since Yena asked the boys about the tattoo and by now, they all started to have a lot of fun with the idea. The boys seem to have taken a liking to messing around with Yena, suggesting ridiculous ideas for the tattoo. The members loved to make jokes about the entire situation, Yena realized very early on.
“Hey Noona.” Hyunjin called out when he entered the kitchen where Minho and Yena were leaning on the counter and eating toast.
Yena looked up at him as she took a bite of her food. “Yes Jinnie?” she replied.
Hyunjin smiled innocently. “How do you feel about having ‘red light, green light swag’ as a tattoo.” he asked. From behind Yena, Minho faked a cough, trying to stifle his laughter.
Yena rolled her eyes, jokingly. “I regret asking you guys to do this.” she said with a sigh. Hyunjin and Minho burst into laughter.
“If not that, then what about the ‘nana’s from My Pace?” Minho suggests, making Hyunjin giggle. Yena covers her face with her hands to try and hide her own laughter.
“Or just have Felix’s entire verse from Mixtape #3.” Hyunjin added between fits of laughter.
“You two are having way too much fun with this.” Yena said, stifling her giggles.
“Hey guys. Whats so funny?” Felix asked as he and Jisung walked into the kitchen.
“We’re deciding that Yena’s tattoo is going to be the ‘nanana’s from My Pace.” Minho answered, making Yena snort while trying not to giggle and the three other members burst into laughter.
“Guys be serious.” Felix said, suddenly halting his laughter. “Obviously the tattoo needs to be to be Jisung’s ‘Wow, she’s hot’ from Wow.” he said, earning a shout of protest from said boy.
Yena covers her face as they all laugh and she shakes her head. “I knew I should have just asked Chan.” she said but her smile betrayed her... until she realized Jisung stole her toast.
~With the boys a few days later~
The nine boys crowded around the computer, talking over each other. They had waited until Yena left the dorm before they started discussing ideas. Minho’s phone buzzed while they were all arguing and he unlocks it.
“Yena says she won;t be home for several hours because her and Dongyeol are at a dog cafe and the puppies need their attention.” he announced, reading her text with a chuckle.
“Okay perfect.” Woojin says with a chuckle. “That gives us enough time to try and come to some kind of a decision.” he stated.
Seungmin nodded. “So we have decided that the actual tattoo is going to be song lyrics.” he said.
“Yeah, and we also have the list of lyrics narrowed down to two...” Woojin agreed, looking at the list Chan had pulled up on the computer.
“Now we just need to choose one.” Changbin added.
After some silent consideration, Minho spoke up. “I think we should go for the first one. The second one is kind of too long.” he pointed out and the others nodded.
“Good point.” Chan said, as he erased the second lyrics. “Now we just need a design.” he informed.
“Well it’s Noona, so it has to have some elegance to the design.” Jeongin suggested.
“And it should be something simple, knowing her.” Jisung added, Minho and Woojin nod.
“Agreed.” he says, starting to test out different fonts while everyone watches the screen. “Lets keep the color black?” he asks, earning sounds of agreement from the others.
They went through about nine different fonts, arguing about different fonts until they were down to two. But out of those two fonts, the boys just could not come to a conclusion.
After several minutes of arguing, Felix had enough. “Okay let’s decide this once and for all.” he walked up to the screen and looked between quote in the two fonts which were written side-by-side. Then he moved his finger back and forth between the two while the others stared. “That one!” he said, when his finger came to a stop, landing on one of the fonts.
“D-did you just use eanie meanie to choose that?” Chan asked him.
Felix smiled and nodded, “I mean, nobody else had any better ideas.” he defended.
“Works for me.” Seungmin said with a shrug and the others agreed.
~4 days before the anniversary~
Yena knocked on the door leading into the studio Chan uses, opening the door when she heard him answer. She poked her head through the door and smiled. “Hey Chris.”
Chan turned to look at her and smiled back, gesturing for her to come in. “Hey Genie. Whats up?” He greeted. Yena walks in and closes the door behind her. She takes a seat in the chair beside Chan.
“I was wondering, Minho said that you guys decided the final design for my tattoo right?” She asked, earning a nod from Chan. She smiled. “Would you be willing to get some free time tomorrow evening then? Like for an hour or two?”
Chan looked at her in confusion. “I guess we can make some time.” He said, running through their schedules in his head. “Why?”
“I want to get the tattoo tomorrow and I don’t want to crowd the shop and take everyone.” She explained. “So, I want you to come with me as moral support.” She said.
Chan smiled. “Sure thing Genie.” He agreed. “Why so soon though?” He asked.
“I kinda want to get it before our anniversary as like a surprise thing for everyone” she explained.
Chan nodded. “Alright then, tomorrow it is!” He said. Yena beamed and lunged to hug him, almost kicking her chair over.
“Thank you!” She said excitedly.
Chan chuckled and hugged her back. “Sure thing, Genie.”
~Evening the next day~
Chan and Yena sat at a table outside a small convenience store, munching the last of the food they had gotten from the store. There was about half an hour until the tattoo appointment and Chan had insisted on Yena eating something before-hand since she will be losing blood in the process.
“You nervous?” Chan suddenly asked, opening his bottle of water.
Yena nodded. “Yeah a little bit.” She said, tugging her fluffy bomber jacket closer around her. “Mainly because its my first tattoo... and I just realized that I don’t really like needles.” She stated.
Chan chuckled. “You’re gonna do great Gen.” he reassured her. “And I’m going to be there anyway so don’t worry too much.” He added.
Soon they were done with their food and were on their way to the tattoo shop. Yena had linked her arm to Chan’s as they got closer to the shop, her hand tightening on his arm. Chan smiled and patted her hand as they walked into the shop.
They were greeted by one of the employees as soon as they entered. “Hello! What can we do for you?” The employee asked.
Yena smiled nervously. “Hello, I called yesterday to book a tattoo appointment.” She informed them, making the employee nod and opened up their appointment book. Then Yena gestured towards Chan. “I said that my tattoo was going to be a surprise for me so he is going to be the one explaining the tattoo.” She explained and Chan nodded.
The employee seated Yena in the lobby and lead Chan into another room to talk about the tattoo design. While she waited, Yena began to text some of her friends, informing them about her whereabouts. She smiled as she received words of encouragement from her friends.
Yena soon heard footsteps and looked up to see the tattoo artist and Chan walk back into the room. Yena put her phone back into her bag and stood up and Chan smiled at her.
“Alright, are you ready?” The artist asked as he lead her and Chan to a different room where the machines are located.
Yena took a deep breath and nodded. “Yeah, let’s do this.” She says.
The artist nods and instructs Yena on what to do as he pulls another chair over for Chan to sit in near Yena’s chair. Yena takes off her jacket and hands it over to Chan, leaving her in a halter top, as she sat down and let the artist put the stencil on the back of her shoulder.
“Does that look like what you were thinking about?” The artist asked Chan after placing the stencil on Yena. Once gaining Chan’s nod of approval, he quickly got to work setting up the inks, needles and everything else that was needed. “Alright, let’s get started.” He said, picking up his machine once he had everything set up. “This shouldn’t take too long but let me know if you need a break, okay?” He informed Yena, who nodded.
The machine buzzed to life and Yena reached her hand out towards Chan, immediately. Chan smiled and held onto Yena’s hand, giving it a light squeeze. Once the machine actually made contact with Yena’s skin and the process began, she seemed to visibly relaxed.
“Not as bad as you thought?” Chan asked her when he saw the tension leave her shoulders.
Yena shook her head, “Its not too bad. It kind of feels like a small pinching feeling.” She answered.
As the tattooing process continued, Chan and Yena started to talk about random things, Chan trying to distract Yena seeing as she was getting more fidgety. He kept a hold on her hand the entire time and kept her busy in random conversations about movies, books and anything else as the artist worked.
Finally after about an hour, the machine was finally turned off and the artist sat back and announced that it was done. Yena let out a sigh of relief and finally let go of the death grip she had on Chan’s hand. Chan stood up and walked behind Yena to check it out first as the tattoo artist went to go get a mirror in order for her to see it.
“Oh wow.” Was his initial reaction.
“Does it look good?” Yena asked him, anxiously.
“Yeah! It looks amazing.” Chan replied. The tattoo artist soon came back with a hand mirror and motioned them over to the full length mirror on the wall. “Ready to to see it?” Chan asked as Yena stood up.
Yena nodded nervously and accepted the mirror from the artist and turned to face away from the full length mirror. She adjusted the hand mirror to see the tattoo and gasps when she see it. The black ink stood out against red skin around it from the process. It was a simple quote designed in black ink and a beautiful cursive writing. A smile made its way onto Yena’s face when she made out the words and put the quote together. She looks over at Chan, who stood off to the side, smiling widely while hiding his phone as if recording her.
“Do you like it?” He asks her, already knowing her answer, judging by her reaction.
Yena nodded excitedly, a wide smile on her face. “I love it!” She exclaimed. “I knew I made the right decision to have you guys do this.” She says as she put down the hand mirror. She jumps over to hug Chan, making him laugh as she does so. He hugs her back and pats her back while he laughs.
“I’m glad.” He said as they let go of each other and handed her back her jacket. “We knew that was one of your favorite lyrics and we knew how much you loved the song so..” he trailed off, beaming at her as the artist came back with some supplies.
They quickly get the tattoo patched up by the artist and pay for the tattoo. As they leave the shop, the artist give Yena a sheet of instructions on how to take care of it to make sure it heals properly since it is an open injury. After leaving the shop, Yena skims through the things written on the sheet, and relays the information to Chan of things she will need. They stop by the store on the way home to pick up up things needed and then head home.
“What do you think about now telling the others about this yet?” Yena asks Chan suddenly as they near their dorm building.
Chan glances at her in confusion. “What do you mean, Gen?” He asks her.
“How about, we keep the tattoo a secret for now?” She replies, turning to look at him. “It should be fully healed in a few days so... how about we keep this between us for now and then I reveal it on our anniversary day.” She explains. Chan thinks for a second then smirks.
“Sure. The boys are going to get the shock of their life.” He says with a chuckle.
~Anniversary Day~
Yena grinned excitedly as her and the others piled into the dorm after practice. She exchanged a knowing look with Chan, who smiled back at her and nodded. They then began to usher the other members into the living room, claiming that there was a surprise for them, earning confused looks from the members.
Yena stood in the middle of the living room, in front of the members who stared at her in confusion. She looked over at Chan, who stood to the side with his phone out to capture the members’ reactions.
“What’s going on, Noona?” Jisung asked looking up at her from his place on the arm of the couch.
Yena took a deep breath and looked at the members. “So.. remember when I had you guys design a tattoo for me?” She asked, earning nods from all the members as looks of recognition slowly appear on their faces.
“Are you finally going to get it?” Felix asked excitedly. Yena and Chan chuckled at the excitement of the eight members. “Do we get to see you get the tattoo?”
“Well... not exactly.” Chan replied. “It’s too late to watch it live, but I did get a video of her reaction.” He added.
“Wait... you already got it?” Woojin asked her.
Yena smiled and turned around letting her jacket fall off her shoulder to reveal her, now healed, tattoo. She heard gasps from behind her and a chuckle from Chan.
“Happy anniversary guys.” She said, looking over her shoulder with a smile on her face.
The 8 members crowded around Yena to get a better view of her tattoo and even Chan put away his phone and joined them. After the initial shock had worn off and the members actually got a good look at the tattoo, they were in awe.
“It looks prettier then it did on the computer.” Minho comments with a smile.
Woojin nods. “It really does look amazing.” He adds before turning to Chan. “How did you know about it anyway? And what do you mean you got a video?” He questions him.
Yena laughs. “Well I couldn’t just go and get this without one of you guys since I didn’t even know what the design was. So I took Chan with me for moral support.” She explained, laughing at the slightly offended faces of the other members. “We went and got it done four days ago.” She added.
“And you hid it for so long?!” Felix exclaimed, sounding offended.
“I wanted it to be a surprise!” Yena defended, making the others laugh.
“Well it looks really pretty, Noona.” Jisung said, giving her a hug. “But I can’t believe you didn’t take me!” He added, making Yena chuckle.
“You?! She should have taken me too! I’m her best friend!” Minho exclaimed.
Yena rolls her eyes. “Thank you, Sungie.” She said while ruffling his hair. “And I couldn’t just take everyone! It would have gotten way too crowded!” She said defensively.
Woojin chuckled and shook his head. “Alright, alright. Leave her alone guys.” He said then turned to Chan. “Now, about that video.” He said.
Chan smiled and opened up his phone gallery as the 10 of them gathered around him to watch the video of Yena seeing her tattoo for the first time.

Dance Practice
AN: Hi everyone! Sorry this took so long! I literally have not had any time to write for the past few weeks! I’ve been trying to write this for so long now but I finally finished! So here it is!
Plot: Yena helps Jeongin with some choreograhy he was have trouble with and end up playing around and cuddling afterwards.
Tumblr media
The sound of Yena’s shoes hitting the practice room floor made its way into her ears, mixing with the sound of the music as she tried to match the beat. The music filtered through the speakers all around the room as Yena let it flow through her, letting the music take control of her movements. Her long hair was tied back into a ponytail and her sweatshirt had been long forgotten during practice, leaving her in a t-shirt and athletic leggings. She had already run through several songs, perfecting her movements to parts she had difficulty with as she did so.
The song soon ended and the only thing heard in the practice was the sound of Yena’s heavy breathing as she took a small break. She slowly walked over where her stuff was placed and sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall as she picked up her phone and unlocked it. The first thing she noticed when she unlocked it were the amount of messages she had received while she was dancing. Her eyebrows shot up as she quickly looked through the texts, deeming if any of them were urgent. One from Woojin to remind her to eat and drink some water, some messages from her friends, one message from Jeongin, and the rest were from her group chats. She decided to deal with the group chats and her friends later, sending a quick thank you to Woojin before opening Jeongin’s text.
‘Hey Noona, are you still in the practice room?’ the message read. Yena stared at the message questioningly. Her fingers began tapping on the touchscreen keyboard then pressed send.
‘Yeah I am! Why?’ her text said. She then went on to check the rest of her messages as she waited to Jeongin’s reply.
A few seconds of looking through her friend’s messages pass by before she gets a response from Jeongin. ‘Would you mind if I come to visit? I need some help with some of the dances.’
Yena smiled. ‘Sure! I’m happy to help.’ she replied.
‘Okay, be there in a few minutes then!’ he response came.
Yena then went back to browsing on her phone, texting back and forth with her friends as she waited to Jeongin. Keeping Woojin’s words in mind, she reached into her bag to retrieve the water bottle she had brought with her. She spent the next several minutes, sitting against the wall and playing with her phone.
The door to the practice room opened a few minutes later and in walked Jeongin, causing Yena to look up from the screen. She smiled happily when she saw him close the door behind him.
“Hey Jeonginnie!” she greeted him. He approached her with a smile and set his bag down beside hers.
“Hey Noona! Is practice going well?” he greeted, earning a shrug from her in response. He plopped down next to her with a smile and gave her a loose side-hug, causing her to lean into his side a bit. They both then pulled away and Jeongin reached over to open his bag. “Woojin hyung guessed that you probably forgot to get food, so he asked me to get you some on the way here.” he explained, pulling out a couple of packed sandwiches.
Yena chuckles and rolls her eyes. “And he’s right as usual.” she says, accepting the food and unpacking it. She took a bite of her sandwich and smiled and Jeongin, who unwrapped his own food.
“So, what were you working on?” Jeongin asked her as they ate.
“Oh I was just running through our songs.” she answers. “You know, perfecting my techniques.” she added. “I was actually about to practice a bit of contemporary after the break.” She said with a shrug. “What did you need help with anyway?” she asked him when he nodded, remembering her brief text conversation earlier.
“Oh right!” Jeongin exclaimed. “I was hoping you could help me since I’m having trouble with some of the dances.” he said, turning to face Yena.
“Sure thing!” Yena said. She continued munching on her sandwich, smiling at Jeongin. “Any song in particular you were thinking of working on?” she asked.
“Maybe My Pace? Still not completely satisfied with that one.” He suggested. “And Voices too.” he added.
Yena nodded, “Yeah, of course!” she said, crumpling up the wrapper of her food. “Go start warming up, okay?” she says, standing up and throwing her garbage away when Jeongin nodded.
The two of them spent a few minutes stretching before beginning practice. Yena scrolls through the songs, trying to find the ones they needed, while Jeongin stood in the practice room and faced the mirrors.
“Okay, we’ll run through the songs first an then see what can be done from there.” Yena said, finally finding the songs. “Sound good?”
“Yeah sounds good.” Jeongin replied.
Yena nodded her head with a smile as the music started playing. She quickly ran over to stand in her position next to Jeongin. “Now, lets focus and see what we can do.” she said as her expression changed to serious, her focus turned completely to the song and choreography. She payed close attention to Jeongin’s movements as they danced. They ran through both songs before they stopped to see what needed to be changed.
“What do you think, Noona?” Jeongin asked.
Yena took a moment to catch her breath as the song ended. “Okay, there were some things I noticed. So, lets run through Voices at a slower speed and I’ll help you.” she said, Jeongin nodded in agreement as Yena adjusted the speed of the music and went back to her spot.
As they ran through the choreography again Yena pointed out little things here and there to help Jeongin along.
“Put a little more power in your movements, Innie.” Yena said. She paused the music and started helping Jeongin slowly through the movements. “Great! Now let’s try this again. Remember to put more power into it! she said ad went to play the song again.
They ran through the songs again several times with Yena patiently giving Jeongin pointers as they continued. This process continued for another hour or so until they both collapsed to the floor, out of breath. The music filtered to a stop, leaving Yena and Jeongin sitting on the floor trying to catch her breath.
“You did great, Jeongin!” She said, smiling over to Jeongin, who smiled back.
“Thanks, Noona!” Jeongin said. “Thanks for the help today!” he added.
“Oh it’s no problem. Well, I think we’re done for today.” Yena said before standing up and stretching her back. “I still want to do a bit of contemporary so I’m going to stay for a while longer. What about you Jeongin? You’re welcome to stay if you want. We can head home together.” she explained.
Jeongin smiled and nodded. “I don’t mind staying for a bit! I like watching you dance anyway.” he said, walking to to the wall where his and Yean’s bags were placed and taking a seat. “Want me to be in charge of the music?” he asked her from his place on the floor.
“Yes please Innie. And could you record this for me too?” she asked him, to which he nodded in return.
Yena took her place in the center of the room and faced the mirrors. She took s deep breath as she heard the soft music filter through the speakers. Jeongin picked up his phone and opened up the camera to take the videos for Yena to watch later.
Yena’s lips twitch up into a smile and she lets the music flow through her and starts moving. She dances, using fluid motion to go along to the beats in the music. She catches a glimpse of Jeongin in the mirror, holding up his phone and smiling brightly while watching her dance. She smiled back at him through the the mirror as she continued, using big, fluid movements to match the music.
Jeongin played five more songs for Yena to dance to before she finally collapsed on the floor. Her breathing was heavy as she lied on her back on the cold floor, closing her eyes to block out the light from the ceiling. She heard the music stop and footprints approach her. She opened her eyes and turned her head slightly to see Jeongin standing over her, a smile on his face and he looked down to her.
“Done now, Noona?” he asked with a chuckle.
Yena rolls her eyes. “Yeah, I think we can call it a day now.” she said, remaining sprawled out on the floor.
“Great! Let’s go!” Jeongin said, starting to walk away from her before pausing, seeing as Yena still hadn’t moved from her place on the floor. He turned back to her. “Uh.. Noona? We have to go home now.” he said to her, glancing down.
Yena hummed in response, keeping her eyes closed. “Maybe later. I’m too tired right now.” she mumbled. Jeongin chuckled and grabbed Yena’s arm, starting to tug on it.
“Come on Noonaaaa.” he said pulling at Yena’s arm more. Jeongin tugged harder on Yena arms, slightly pulling her on the floor and making her squeak.
“Jeongin!” she squeaked as Jeongin laughed, pulling her along the practice room floor. “Innie! Stop doing that!” she exclaimed while laughing. Jeongin continued to drag her a round.
“Nope! Not until you get up and agree to come home with me.” he said, laughing. as he spun her in circles.
“Okay! fine, fine! You win!” Yena said between laughter, flailing slightly. “Let’s go home.” she said, sighing when Jeongin finally stopped and let go of her arm.
Yena remained laughing on the floor for a few more minutes until she finally calmed down to catch her breath. Jeongin held a hand out to her, which she accepted, and used it to pull her up from the floor. They walked side-by-side over to the corner and picked up their bags from the floor.
“I really hope somebody made dinner at home, or maybe ordered something.” Yena stated as she threw on her sweatshirt. Jeongin nodded in agreement, picking up his backpack. Once they were all packed, they turned off the lights to the practice room and made their way to the exit.
After a quick walk from the company building to their dorm building, they finally entered through the front door to their dorm. The two of them quickly changed out of their dancing clothes and joined the rest of the members for dinner. The ten members enjoyed their food, non-stop conversations filling the apartment as they ate.
“How did practice go?” Woojin asked Yena and Jeongin while they ate.
“Pretty good!” Yena replied, happily. “Jeongin is doing really well!” she added, poking Jeongin’s cheek.
He chuckled and rolled his eyes. “I am making progress, yes. But you’r help is the reason I’m improving so quickly.” he adds. Yena just rolls her eyes in return.
“Yeah Yeah. Sure, that’s the reason.” she said, sarcastically, causing him to nudge her with his shoulder. The rest of the members chuckled at their banter as hey continued eating.
Once the dinner was over and everything was cleaned up, the members all went into the living room, deciding to watch a movie together.
The members put on a movie and sprawled out all over the living room. Jeongin and Yena lied on the floor in front of the t.v. with a blanket thrown over their legs. Yena leaned against Jeongin’s shoulder and the two of them cuddled together. Hr eyes slowly started to droop shut as the movie played on the screen. The exhaustion from hours of dancing slowly catching up to both of them and as the movie came to an end, the members found Yena and Jeongin fast asleep, snuggled up together on the floor, under their blanket.
Sorry this chapter took so long to post! I haven’t had any time at all to write at all! But I’m now done with series of individual members and their interactions with Yena so now it’s on to other things! Hope you all enjoyed.

Drained
AN: This isn’t the Jeongin chapter but this is something I had written up a while ago but never knew when to post it so here it is! Jeongin’s chapter will probably be next though!
Plot: Stray Kids were abroad for some schedules and when they return home and are at the airport, Yena falls ill. They have to get through a crowd of people in order to get back home and the boys are all worried.
Tumblr media
Chan sighed as he looked out at the crowd that had formed outside the gate. The loud voices of everyone could be heard from the other side of the door. He looked at the security, who were getting themselves prepared, the over at his other members. The ten of them were all waiting inside the gates, spread out of the seats, waiting to be told that they can start heading out to the cars. Chan’s eyes moved from member to member until they landed on two certain members in worry.
Woojin was sitting on one on the seats, a worried look on his face matching Chan’s own expression. His expressions was aimed towards Yena, who was leaning against Woojin’s side with his arm wrapped around her, looking ill. Yena was almost laying across two of the seats, her back leaning heavily against Woojin. Her head leaning back and her eyes were closed, making her look as though she was sleeping.
Right from when they had woken up, they all knew something was not right. Yena had tried to convince them that she was okay, but her voice and the movements were not convincing in the slightest. She looked completely drained and just ill; throughout the entire she had looked as if she was ready to collapse at any moment. She had basically slept through their entire flight back, leaning limp against the window, using a jacket as a makeshift blanket. All of the boys kept glancing at her with concerned expressions all day. Even now, Yena was dressed in thick leggings and one of Minho’s hoodies that he had given to her when he had found her curling in on herself for warmth. She had the hood up to cover her eyes fro the lights with her head resting against Woojin’s shoulder. The only way Chan knew she was awake was because of her fingers drumming on her thighs lightly.
Chan’s eyes traveled back to Woojin, who looked back and and locked eyes with Chan before they both glanced back down at Yena. Woojin then leaned over and whispered something to Hyunjin, who was sitting beside him, causing Hyunjin to nod in response to whatever he whispered. They exchanged a few ore whispered words before Woojin began to slowly move to get up, causing Yena to sit up and open her eyes. Hyunjin slid forward in his seat, lifting his arms as he saw Woojin sit up. As soon as Woojin was up and out of his seat, Hyunjin took his previously occupied seat and puled Yena to him. He wrapped his arms around her and cuddles her tightly like she was his personal teddy bear. Once he was satisfied and Yena was securely in someone else’s care, Woojin walked over to Chan, sighing when he saw the crowd forming outside.
“How’s she doing?” Chan asked Woojin, who shrugged in response.
“Same as she was before.” He replied. “We should really get her home soon, though. She needs to rest if she’s going to get better.” Woojin suggested.
Chan nodded. “Yeah I agree.” He then glanced back out at the people outside the gate. “You think she’ll make it to the cars in that crowd? Or should we just carry her?” he wondered.
“I don’t she’ll let us carry her in front of the fans.” Woojin answered with a chuckle. “But the crowd really will not be good for her condition at the moment.” he added.
“Maybe we could just use the train strategy and keep her close to the middle or the front. Then we just need to get the cars as soon as possible.” Chan thought out loud, causing Woojin to nod at the idea.
“Or we could have her in a the middle and all of us walk around her to make sure she isn’t too crowded and suffocated.” Woojin suggested.
The two of them started to bounce ideas back and forth, trying to think of a solution. They continued to do this until until one of the security people approached them, informing them that they should start moving out soon. The two eldest members nodded and walked over to where the others members waited.
“Okay guys.” Chan called, gaining everyone’s attention. “We are going to form a train so nobody gets lost when we leave. There are a lot of people outside so be careful and keep an eye on each other.” he pause , looking around to make sure everyone understood. He continued when everyone nodded. “Okay, we’ll try to get try to go as fast we can. Woojin will be in the back of the line. And Evie?” he said, earning a hum from her in reply. “You’re gonna be right behind me in the front.” he said.
“Whoever is behind Yena, make sure to stay close to her. She isn’t feeling well and we can’t take any chances.” Woojin adds.
The statement causes Yena to open her eyes and pull away from Hyunjin.”I told you I’m fine.” she croaks out stubbornly in a weak voice. She moves to stand up, swaying on her feet as the blood rushes to her head. Hyunjin is on his feet almost immediately, grabbing onto Yena’s shoulders to steady.
Minho shakes his head, sitting on the edge of his seat. “You’re clearly not fine, Yena.” he said, standing up and reaching to pick up Yena’s backpack from beside her, a look of worry plastered on his face. “You can barely stand up and you looks about ready to pass out at any moment.” he bluntly added in a quieter voice when he was beside her.
“We need to walk through a pretty big crowd, Noona, so we’re just being extra careful. Please, listen to us.” Seungmin negotiates, looking at her with worried eyes. Yena sighs, crumbling at the look he gave her.
“Fine...” she says reluctantly. Hyunjin let go of her shoulders and the boys all began to gather their things and form a line, Yena following them at a much slower pace.
Yena walked sluggishly walked over the where Chan stood near the exit. She stood behind him and held on tightly to his backpack. She felt hands hold onto the back of her hoodie and looked over her shoulder to see JIsung standing behind her. He smiled when he saw her look back and moved a little closer to her.
Chan looked behind him to make sure all the members were ready. Once he was satisfied, he walked forward, towards the exit gate. “Alright, here we go.” he said and led them out.
They were immediately swarmed with people when they stepped through the gate. Yena winced when the cameras and the screams reached her ears, causing her headache to worsen. She shuffled closer to Chan and rested her head against his backpack, trying to block out the noises and the cameras flashing. Her legs felt like leads and her steps became unsteady as she hoped they didn’t have very far to walk. She clutched onto the back of Chan’s backpack tightly, using it as support as her feet dragged on the floor.
They continued walking at a relatively slow pace through the swarms of people, Yena leaning heavily against Chan’s back for support. She soon felt arms wrap around her from behind, holding her up as they walked.
JIsung’s chin landed on her shoulder and he hugged her tightly. “We’re almost there, Noona. The cars aren’t as far away.” he reassured her. Yena nodded her head in response, still moving forward with her now sandwiched between Chan and Jisung. It took several more minutes of walking until Chan finally came to a stop. Yena lifted her head up slowly when Jisung pulled away from her, sighing in relief when she looked over Chan’s shoulder and saw the cars.
Chan opened the car door and moved aside to let Yena enter first as the rest of the members went to put their things in the cars and decide which members went in which car. She gave him a soft smile as she climbed in and immediately headed to the back window seat. She then leaned against the window, curling her legs up onto the seat while the rest of the members piled in.
Yena could still hear the screaming when the car door had finally been shut after all the members were inside. She looked around and noticed that she was in the back seat with Jeongin and Felix while Woojin and Minho sat in the seats in front of them.
Jeongin took the other window seat while Felix sat in the middle. “How are you feeling, Noona?” Jeongin asked her, worriedly, causing Yena to shrug. She curled even more into herself and heard shuffling, looking up to see Minho turning around in his seat to look at her.
“At least take your shoes off before you fall asleep, Genie.” he said with a smile. Yena sighed as he uncurled herself, using her feet to slide off her shoes before tucking her feet under herself again, looking over at Minho.
“Happy?” she croaked out.
“Very.” he said with a smile as the others chuckled. “Now go to sleep.” he said, turning back around in his seat. Yena nodded as Felix threw his arms around her, moving the two of them until they had switched seats and Yena was sitting in the middle. Her eyes drooped shut, as she felt Jeongin move closer to her as well, cuddling her along with Felix. Yena soon fell asleep while snuggling closer to the two youngests who cuddles her back happily.
The next time Yena woke up, she was being carried on someone’s back, with her head resting on their shoulder. She lifted her head and opened her eyes, looking up to see who was carrying her.
“Chris?” she mumbled, causing Chan to turn his head towards her. He smiled when he saw her looking around with a confused expression, trying to make sense of her surroundings. She realized they were in the elevator of their apartment building along with a few other members.
“Welcome back to the world of the living.” he said making her smile. “We’re almost to the dorm so just sit tight.” he informed her.
“You guys should have woken me up.” she mumbled causing somebody behind her to chuckle. She turned her head to see Changbin standing behind her and smiling.
“We tried at first, but you were dead to the world so we just decided to let you sleep.” he said, Chan nodding in agreement. Just as Yena was about to reply, though, the elevator doors opened to their floor, letting everyone pile out and head towards the door.
“Do you think you need any medicine, Evie?” Chan asked Yena as he slide out of his shoes and gave headed straight for Yena’s shared room.
Yena shook her head. “Nah, I think I just need to sleep.” she said, causing Chan to chuckle.
“Okay, but you need to eat first.” he said, walking straight into the room and placing Yena on Minho’s botton bunk. “Minho said he’ll take your top bunk so you don’t have to climb up to your bed.” he explained. Yena nodded in understanding as she pulled the blanket up and curled under it. “No going to sleep yet! You still need to eat first.” Chan said, pulling to blankets  slightly away from her. Yena sighed and sat back up, her eyes opening and closing slowly. Chan took a seat at the edge of the bed, continuing to talk in hope of keeping Yena awake.
Soon, Woojin and MInho walked into the room, a plate in Woojin’s hand along with a glass of water. They both smiled fondly, seeing Yena nodded off and waking herself up, looking similar to a toddler stubbornly trying to stay awake.
“One nutella sandwich for you.” Woojin said, catching Yena’s attention. He handed the plate over to her and placed the glass on the bedside table. Minho walked over to the bed and took his seat at the foot of his bed. “Make sure you eat all of it and drink the water.” he said to her sternly as he took a seat on the floor beside the bed.
“Thanks, Oppa.” Yena said, placing the plate on her lap. “But you guys don’t have to sit here with me. I’m not a child who needs to be watched every second.” she said with a pout, causing the three boys to chuckle.
“Well, you sure are acting like one right now.” Minho countered making Yena roll her eyes. The four of them continued to converse as you munched on the sandwich. Once to sandwich was gone, Woojin took the plate from her and stood up. Woojin and Chan then bid Yena a goodnight and walked out of the room while Minho remained sitting on the foot on the bed.
Yena layed back down and looked over at Minho with an eyebrow raised in question. “What’s up?” she ask.
Minho shrugged. “Just want to make sure you’re really okay.” he said. “Don’t need anything happening to my best friend.” he added causing Yena to giggle.
“Really, I’m fine, Min.I’m just tired now.” She replied. “I’m probably just going to pass out now. Although.. I wouldn’t mind a cuddle buddy.” she said, smiling at Minho.
Minho smile back and playfully rolled his eyes. “Sure, I could use a nap.” he said with a shrug, pushing himself off the bed to go turn off the lights. He then moved back to the bed where Yena was laying, curled up under the blankets. “Move over.” Minho said, climbing in beside Yena, who moved back towards to wall to make room for him.  He threw his arm around Yena and let her snuggle into his side, a smile on both their faces. “Goodnight, Gen.” he mumbled as his eyes closed.
“Night, Min.” she mumbled back sleepily, nuzzling into Minho’s shoulder and falling already falling asleep again. Minho brought the blanket up to Yena’s chin, still smiling as both he and Yena finally fell asleep.
And that’s the end of that chapter. Hope you guys enjoyed! Anyway, I should have Jeongin’s chapter up within the next few days.

Yena and her Baby
A/N: GUYS! i passed all my classes and made it to the Dean’s List of my college! And now I have a month of break so more writing!! Yay!! Anyways! This one took a while because its very long but its also cute and soft! Also, now there’s only Felix and Jeongin’s chapters left, if I’m not wrong so those will be soon!
Plot: Yena and Jisung spend their free time together and cause a little chaos while they’re at it.
Tumblr media
“NOONA?!” A voice boomed from somewhere throuh the halls of the building.
Yena jumps and turns around, startled by the scream. Looking across the hall, she spots Jisung running towards her, a big smile on her on his face. Her own lips turn up into a smile as well as she watched him drawing closer. When he had almost reached her, she outstretched her arms towards him, causing his smile to get even bigger. He lifted his own arms out as well and ran straight into Yena’s welcoming arms.
“Hi Jisungie!” Yena greeted, wrapping him in a tight hug. Jisung’s chin rested on her shoulder as he hugged her back. “What’s up?” She asks him as he pulls away slightly.
“Noona, I was talking to Chan hyung and he said that we have the rest of the day off.” Jisung says happily. “Do you wanna do something together?”
Yena smiles at him and nods, “Sure thing, Sungie!” She says, letting go of him. “Got anything in mind?”
Jisung hums in thought. “How about we go for coffee?” He suggests. “We can decide on what else to do after that.” He adds, causing Yena to chuckle fondly at him.
“Sounds good” she replies.
“Great! Let’s go!” Jisung says and grabs Yena’s hand. “Forward march!” He begins to pull her through the halls of the JYP building. Yena smiles and shakes her head fondly.
“You’ve got way to much energy already, Sungie. I don’t think you need any coffee.” She states, jokingly. He turns to her and pouts.
“But Noona! Coffee sounds so good right now.” Jisung replies, catching onto her joke. Both he and Yena start to laugh, walking hand in hand out of the building.
Yena shivers and rolls down the sleeves of her sweater as the cold breeze blew past them. The sleeves covered her hands entirely, turning them into sweater paws. Her combat boots drumming lightly against the pavement as they continued to walk down the street. They joke and laugh together as they marched on, Jisung now holding onto a sweater paw instead oh her actual hand.
“Whose sweater is this?” He asks her when he noticed how big the sweater actually is causing Yena to shrug in response.
“To be honest, I don’t know. I was lazy this morning and just grabbed the first sweater I found.” She said with a chuckle, causing Jisung to roll his eyes.
“We should just rename you the Sweater Thief.” He says. Yena nudges his side playfully.
“Shush you. It doesn’t happen that often.” She defends and Jisung chuckles.
“Noona, thats a lie and we both know it.” He says. “You do it so often that if one of us is missing a sweatshirt, the first thing we all do is ask you for it.” He says with a laugh when he sees Yena scrunch her nose at him.
“Maybe thats just because I know where everything is.” She retorts.
“Like your closet.” Jisung mumbles under his breath in response. Yena rolls her eyes, causing him to laugh as they come to a stop in front of a coffee shop.
The coffee shop was relatively empty when they entered so within a few minute the two of them had already ordered their drinks and moved to the side to wait for them. The two of them stood side by side close to the pick up counter as they wait, with Jisung cracking little joke to make Yena laugh.
Soon, their drinks were ready so they quickly picked them up and walked out of the small shop. Deciding to to take advantage of the pleastly chilly weather, they walk around, talking and drinking their coffee. They continue wandering around, slowly making their way back towards thei dorm.
Suddenly, Yena’s phone rings, causing Yena and Jisung to exchange a curious look before she answered the call. Jisung swung his and Yena’s joined hands back and forth as she talked on the phone. He stared up at the buildings while they strolled onwards. Minutes pass until Yena finally bids the other person a goodbye and hung up the call.
“Who was it Noona?” He asks when Yena puts her phone back in her bag. She looks up at him and smiles, picking up the pace.
“It was Woojin Oppa. He said that he and the others are all gonna be out for a while and they’ll bring food home later. So, we have the dorm all the ourselves.” She says. Jisung’s eyes light up.
“So we can do whatever we want with nobody complaining?” He says, causing Yena to nod. “Then what are we waiting for?” He tug Yena by the hand and starts running the last block to the dorm.
Yena laughs as they make it to their building. They make their way up to the dorm within a few minute ans find it completely empty. While Yena goes to her room to put away her things, Jisung goes to the living room to look at the videogames they have.
“Hm... hey Noona?” Jisung calls as Yena enters the room. He earns a hum in response. “We haven’t played this in a while.” He said, holding up a game for her to see, smirking. “How about it?”
Yena laughs, “Okay, but you’re taking the blame for all the noise complaints.” She says.
Jisung shrugs, “It’s worth it.” He says as he pops the the dance game into the game console.
The two grab the game controllers and step back from the TV. They look through the choices, picking the songs they want to play. This is a game both Yena and Jisung love to play together. Although, they never can play it much anymore, because they both get very loud and hyper. The others were getting tired of all noise complaints they got so they stopped playing as much as they want to.
“Loser has to buy the winner lunch for a week.” Jisung challenges, causing Yena to smirk.
“You’re on.” Yena says as she picks their first song.
The two immediately become serious as the song begins, both of them immersed in the game. They moved around, using the controllers to match the movements on the screen. They laughed loudly as the song continued, Yena ducking out of the way of Jisung’s flailing limbs. When the first song finally ended, Yena panted lightly and sat on the floor. Jisung was also breathing heavily as he stood beside Yena and looked through the song options.
“I’m surpised that neither of us are screaming yet.” Yena said, breaking the silence.
“I know! We’re usually getting complaints by now.” Jisung answered, still looking through the choices. A certain song caught his attention and he perked up. “Ooh! Lets do this one!” He said, pulling Yena to stand up as he clicked on the song. She laughed and agreed, holding her controller securely in her hand.
The first scream came halfway through their third song. Jisung misjudged the distance between him and Yena and nearly whacked Yena on the shoulder. Her scream, though, was soon followed by his own when Yena accudentally tripped Jisung when she moved. Everything went downhill from there.
The next several songs were played in a mess of screams, yells, flailing limbs, flying controllers and several close calls with the coffee table. Along with all of this chaos, there were also fits of laughter where they would both end up on the floor from laughing too much. The chaos went on and on as they swept through as many songs as possible. At one point, while dancing, the two bumped into each other, causing Yena to fall back into onto the couch and Jisung to almost crash into the coffee table. Jisung took the opportunity to hop on top of the table and continue to dance. His actions causing Yena to curl up in a fit of laughter, her controller falling to the floor with a thud.
“Ummm....” a voice come from behind them, making them both freeze and turn around.
Behind them stood the rest of the members. Their faces wearing expressions ranging from amused to unimpressed.
“Oh! Hey guys.” Yena says, trying to sound nonchalant. Jisung remained frozen to his spot on the table. “Welcome back.” She adds with a smile as she quickly reaches for the remote to turn the TV off.
Chan shakes his head and smile fondly at them. “I swear you two have way too much energy sometimes.” He says with a chuckle. “Jisungie, get off the table please.” He says, directing his attention towards the boy, who rubs the back of his neck and steps down. The rest of the members chuckled in amusement at him.
“Now that thats settled, we brought dinner. So everyone go get cleaned up while I set everything up.” Woojin states.
Everyone disperses immediately at the mention of food. Everyone else going to their own rooms to change and put their things away while Yena and Woojin head to the kitchen to get utensils and drinks for everyone.
Hours late, everyone had eaten their fill of dinner and everything had been cleaned up. The members were scattered all around the dorm, some were in their bedrooms while others were in the kitchen or the living room. Jisung and Yena sat on the floor in the living room, talking and joking around together. The two of them happily chatted as they sat next to each other, smiling.
When Jisung smiled, his cheeks became even more puffy. Seeing this, Yena giggles and reaches up to squish his cheeks with her palms. She smiles fondly at Jisung, who stares back at her with wide, questioning eyes.
“My adorable baby.” She says fondly. Jisung lets out a small giggle and leans away from Yena’s hands.
“My amazing noona.” He says back, resting his head against Yena’s shoulder.
Alright that’s it! I hope you liked it! Its like almost 5 am over here so time for me to go to bed now. Anyways, hope you enjoyed, I don’t know whether I’m going to write Felix or Jeongin next so... yeah, lets see what happens!

Studio Time
A/N: My semester is finally over! Sorry this took so long but I was going blank on this for so long because of finals and stuff. I literally write like 5 different essays in the past two weeks and my brain was fried but now I’m back!
Plot: Yena visits Changbin in the studio while he is working and brings him food.
Tumblr media
Yena silently pushed open the door to the studio, smiling when she saw Changbin sutting in a chair with headphones over his ears. She stepped into the room, being careful with the bags in her hands as she pushed the door closed behind her. Softly, Yena called out Changbin’s name and sighed when she didn’t get a response. She set down her things and pulled up a chair beside Changbin’s, silently sitting down and placing her bags down beside her seat.
It was ten minutes later when Changbin finally noticed that he had company. He took off his headphones and turned his chair towards Yena, who was reading a book in her chair beside him.
“Hey Noona.” He greeted her, giving her a smile. “Did you bring food?” He asked immediately when he got her attention.
Yena smiled and rolled her eyes. “Of course I brought food.” She said. “Do you really think I’m letting you stay here and starve? On my watch?” She said dramatically, causing Changbin to laugh.
Yena reached beside her and held up the big paper bag that she brought with her. She saw Changbin’s eyes light up when she started pulling out the contents of the bag. She handed him a burger and then took one for herself. Then she opened up the second, smaller, paper bag, which was filled entirely with fries. Changbin saved all his his work as Yena brought another chair between theirs, turning into a makeshift table for the fries and their waterbottles. The two of them then sat back in their seats, happily eating while talking about the songs he was working on as well as the how the choreography was coming along.
This was a regular occurrence between the two of them. Whenever Changbin spent too much time in the studio Yena would drop by to check up on him, bringing food with her to make sure he ate. They would eat together then Yena would just hang around for a little while to keep him company. This, in fact, had become so common between them that Changbin wasn’t even surprised anymore when he found Yena seated next to him. She was always careful not to break his focus so, she would come in silently and wait for him to finish what he was working on before bringing out her food.
Changbin sighed and sat back in his chair, looking at the half full bag of fries sitting on their makeshift table. Their burgers had long been eaten and only the fries remained now.
“I think you got too many fries, Noona.” Changbin stated, looking up at Yena. She, in turn, looked back at him looking offended.
“There is no such thing as too many fries!” She sais. “Who are you and what have you done with my Binnie!” She exclaimed, grabbing his shoulders. Changbin rolled his eyes and laughed.
“Noona...” He groaned in fake exasperation, causing Yena to giggling. She reached for more fired and then held the bag out for Changbin, urging him to take more as well. He sighed but reached for the bag anyway. “I really should get back to work soon.” He said while munching on his fries.
Yena just waved her hand dismissively at him. “Yeah yeah, you can do that after you finish the rest of the food.” She said to him. Changbin playfully sighed at her words as the two of them continued to work through the bag. Their progress, while slow, was still progress, the bag had began to get more and more empty.
After the food was all finished, the room and fallen into silence again. Changbin had gone back to work, headphones back on his ears as he worked on his computer. Yena was still in the studio, choosing to stay and keep Changbin company. She was curled up in her chair, her legs thrown over one of the armrests as her back leaned against the other one. One of her hands mindlessly played with Changbin’s hair while the other held up the book she was reading.
A calm feeling settled around the two of them as they silently sat together. Every once in a while, Changbin would ask for Yena’s opinion on something he was working on and after a while, he had just decided to stop using the headphones altogether. At one point Yena had begun to hum along with the beat coming from the speakers. The sound of the music along with Yena’s humming made Changbin relax, his shoulders relaxing as he listened.
By the time Changbin decided to call it a day, Yena’s humming had stopped completely, replaced by soft breathing as she was completely immersed in her book. He pushed his chair back and stretched his arms out to his sides. Turning his head to the side, he glanced back at Yena, who was curled up in her chair. She had the jacket Changbin had taken off thrown over her shoulders and she looked completely oblivious to her surroundings.
“Hey Noona?” Changbin called out to get her attention. She looked up at him when she heard his voice and hummed in question. “Do you want to head home now?” He asked, causing her to close and sit up in her seat.
“Yeah lets go.” She said with a nod. “Why don’t you pack up and get your things together.” She suggested, standing up and wearing Changbin’s jacket as a cape over her shoulders. “I’m going to check in the other studios and the practice room to make sure we don’t have any missing babies.” She said causing Changbin to nod his head and chuckle as her motherly side came out.
“Sounds good. I’ll meet you at the entrance of the building” he said. Yena agreed and began to walk out of the room after picking up her back, throwing out the empty takeout baggs as she left. Changbin quietly oacked up his things as Yena went around, checking the rooms for any other members. When she was satisfied by her rounds, she head out towards the entrance where she found Changbin waiting for her.
“Let’s head on out!” Yena said when she came up beside him.
“Yeah, onward to home!” Changbin replied. He threw his arm around Yena’s shoulders as they exited the building, walking peacefully along the dark streets on their way back to their dorm.
Thats it for today! Lets see who is up next!

You Need A Break
AN: Hello! I’m getting so much inspiration recently! I have. An entire page in my notebook of ideas for different chapters! So here is the Minho chapter! So now Changbin, Jisung, Felix and Jeongin are left!
Plot: On the days following their elimination, Yena has been practicing non-stop. Deciding she is in need of a break, Minho drags Yena out of the practice room to spend a day in his hometown.
Tumblr media
Yena and Minho sat in the very back of the quiet bus, the morning sun shining through the windows. Yena stared out of the window with headphones in her ears while Minho leaned back in his seat with his eyes closed. The bus was quiet due to it being so early in the morning so Minho had decided to use the time to take a nap. Yena, on the other hand, stared blankly at the cars passing outside, leaning her head against the cool glass of the window. A yawn escaped her lips as she picked up her phone, changing her music to something upbeat from the soft piano that was playing. The music would be enough to put her to sleep if she didn’t change it. She then closed her eyes and leaned her head back against the glass, ignoring the stuffness in her neck.
Minutes pass like this until Yena feels Minho shift in the seat beside her. She opened her eyes and looked over at him, watching as he blinked his eyes open. He reached into his pocket and took out his phone, Yena saw the screen flashing on his phone indicating that the alarm was going off. He let out a yawn and stretched his arms out in front of him, his face scrunching up as he did so. He then turned towards Yena, raising an eyebrow when he saw that she was already awake and looking back at him.
“Did you sleep at all?” He asked her. Yena shook her head in response.
“Nope. My neck is too stiff, so it was uncomfortable.” She replied and Minho chuckled.
“Thats what you get for sleeping on the practice room floor all night.” He comments and Yena nudges his side with her elbow.
“Shush.” She said jokingly. “I didn’t even mean to fall asleep. I literally just closed my eyes for a second and somehow ended asleep.” She defended, causing Minho to roll his eyes.
“And this is exactly why I’m dragging you away from the practice room today.” He stated. “You need to take a break to relax. You’ve been working youself to death lately, Genie.” Yena huffed.
“No I haven’t! I am perfectly fine.” She retorted. Minho raised his an eyebrow.
“Really? When was the last time you had a proper meal at a normal time?” He asked. Yena opened her mouth to answer but stopped to think. “And when was the last time you had more then three hours of sleep?” He continued when she didnt say anything. Yena sighed and looked away, knowing she couldn’t answer.
“I guess you’re right.” She replied.
“Thought so.” He said with a smirk. “So today, we are not going to worry about practice at all. We are going to spend the day exploring Gimpo and playing with my cats. Practicing can wait until we go back tomorrow!” He stated, causing Yena to chuckle. He bumps his shoulder against hers and smile at her.
“But first thing’s first. We need to get food because I am starving!” Yena says. Minho nods in agreement.
The bus slows to a stop a few minutes later at the place Minho and Yena needed to get off. The two of them threw on their jackets and shouldered their bags as they climbed off the bus and onto the pavement. Yena stopped in her tracks right as she got off the bus and took a deep breath of fresh air. Minho looked at her and chuckled, waiting for her to finish her little antics. She turned to face him and smiled as Minho made a point to dramatically roll his eyes. Yena went to stand right beside Minho and link their arms together.
“Come on! I’m hungry!” She excalimed and started pulling him in a random direction.
“Do you even know where you’re going, Genie?” Minho asked her with a chuckle making her stop in her tracks.
“I do not..” she replied. “But I’ll find my way to food eventually!” She said with determination.
Minho smirked. “With your record of getting lost? I doubt it.” He said causing Yena to huff. He used their linked arms to pull Yena in the opposite direction from where she was going. “Come on. There is a restaurant a few blocks away from here.”
They walked peacefully through the streets with their arms linked together. Minho led Yena down a couple of blocks until they reach a small restaurant.
They entered the restaurant and were immediately welcomed with by the smell of coffee and food. After they had ordered their food, they sat down in one of the small booth that was placed against the wall. Yena lets out a small yawn as she sits down in her seat and Minho chuckled.
“You really need to sleep more.” He said to her.
Yena sighed, “I know... but I need to practice”
Minho rolled his eyes. “How’s practice going anyway?” He asked her, changing the subject. He could lecture her about her health later, they had all day. “Did you come up with any new choreo ideas recently?”
Yena’s eyes lit up immediately. “Actually, yeah I have. I found a few songs that I could come up with some choreographies for and even came up with some ideas for them!” She said enthusiastically. Minho leans forward in his seat, resting his face on the palm of his hand.
“You need to show me when you finish. Your choreographies are always interesting.” He says.
Their conversation is briefly paused when a waiter comes by with their food and coffee. They both thank the waiter and instantly begin eating, enjoying the warm food.
“I might need your help with the choreos, actually.” She said between bites, earning Minho’s attention. He hummed in question, taking another bite of food. “Some of the songs are more suited for two people.” She explained with a shrug.
Minho nodded his head with a smirk. “I’m up for it. Partner dancing always ends up being really fun with the two of us.” He answered, laughing as he remembered the last time the two of them teamed up for a choreography. He took a sip of his coffee as Yena nodded.
“Oh I know!” She said. “And I have this one idea we could try...” Yena began talking passionately about the choreographies she had in mind, Minho interjecting with his own ideas as well. By the time they had finished their brainstorming session, the fod was all gone and the two of them were just nursing the last of their coffees.
They head out of the restaurant soon after they finish their meals, their stomachs full of delicious food. They aimlessly walked through the streets for a while, going into some stores as they walked. Suddenly, Yena gasped and grabbed Minho’s hand, tugging him towards one of the buildings.
“Min! Let’s go here!” She said with excitement. Minho looked at the building and laughed, letting himself be dragged toward the arcade.
“Okay, but just letting you know, I will take you down, Genie!” He said as they entered. He turned to her with a smirk, causing her to roll her eyes.
“Bring it on! I will destroy you in any game!” She answered. They ran into the arcade, going to the first two player arcade game they found.
“Yes!” Minho shouted, hours later, jumping up in victory. “Told you I would win!” He as Yena sulked behind him. They had played several games in the arcade over the past few hours going neck and neck until Minho they reached their last game. Minho managed to pull ahead right at the end of the game.
Yena scrunched up her nose at him. “You just got lucky.” She said, causing Minho to laugh.
“Sure, sure. Believe what you want.” He said with a smirk. “But we both know I won because of my amazing skills!” He said and bumped his shoulder against hers. She pouted as they made their way towards the exit. However, they stopped in their tracks when they reached the door and looked outside.
The sun had set not too long ago and thick, dark rain clouds covered the sky. The people walking on the streets all carried umbrellas as rain poured down from the clouds. Yena and Minho looked at eachother, thinking about what to do next.
“Do you wanna call a cab? Or should we just risk it and walk home?” Minho asked Yena. “My house is only a few blocks away.” He adds.
Yena smiled mischievously. “Let’s just walk. What’s a little rain gonna do?” She said. Minho shrugged his shoulders and chuckled.
They zipped up their jackets and adjusted their bags on their shoulders, bracing themselves for the rain. They then stood behind the doors leading outside and Minho grabbed Yena’s hand.
“Ready?” He asked her, earning a nod in return. “Alright, let’s go!” He said and pushed the door open, pulling Yena along with him as he exited the building. Yena let out a laugh as they broke into a sprint, getting soaked in the rain.
They ran through the streets, dodging people and laughing as they made their way to Minho’s house. Yena’s wet hair hit her face as she ran and her clothes were already soaked through but she was enjoying the feeling of the rain too much to care. Minho turned the corner and finally saw his building come into view. He ran faster, pulling Yena with him until they reached the entrance and pulled her inside.
Once inside the building, they stopped to catch their breaths. Minho looked at Yena and stifled a laugh when he saw her wet hair covering her face. Yena smiled and pushed her hair back away from her face, sticking her tongue out at him. He throws his arm around her shoulders and started leading her to the elevator.
“Come on! We need to dry off and I need to see Soonie and Doongie!” Minho said with amusement in his voice.
They made their way to Minho’s apartment, immediately taking off their soaking jackets when they stepped through the front door. As Minho was taking off his shoes, he heard Yena squeal which caused him to jump in surprise. He looked over to where Yena was standing, her shoes already off and a bright, excited smile on her face.
“Kitties!” Yena squealed as she found Minho’s cats sitting close to the door. Yena ran towards them but they both ran away from her. She pouted as Minho chuckled.
“Cats don’t seem to like me...” she said.
“They will. They will” he reassured her. “But we should dry off and change before trying to make you and the cats friends.” He said, drinning as he grabbed her arm. “Come on.” He lead her farther into the, currently, empty apartment. Minho’s parents were out for the day and wouldn’t be back until late at night.
Minho left Yena to change in the bathroom while he walked into his bedroom. He placed his things down in his room before picking some clothes to change into. After he was done, he walked out of the room and discovered that Yena was already done, seeing as the bathroom was empty. He looked around in confusion when he didnt see her before walking into the living room. He smiled at the sight in front of him.
Yena was sitting on the floor dressed in black sweatpants and a dark red hoodie, her long black hair tied black in a french braid going down her back. She was sitting cross-legged on the carpet, her hand held out towards Soonie and Doongie. Both of the cats cautiously approached Yena’s hand, examining her for a moment. Yena waited patiently for them, smiling brightly when they finally moved closer to her and nudged her hand with their heads.
“Looks like they’ve already taken a liking to you.” Minho said, walking over to where Yena sat. Yena smile up at him and pulled the cats into her lap, looking up at him.
“Hey Min! They are so cute!” She exclaimed, petting one of their heads, a childish spark gleaming in her eyes.
Minho nodded his head. “Yeah they are.” He said with a chuckle. He sat down on the floor in front of her, taking Soonie from her and placing it into his own lap.
Eventually, Yena and Minho stopped playing with the cats when they got hungry, and decided to make instant ramen for dinner. They sat on the couch in the living room, watching Harry Potter as they ate their dinner. Soonie and Doongie sat peacefully beside the two on them, climbing into their laps when they were done with their dinner. Yena leaned her head against Minho’s shoulder and glanced at the window, watching the heavy rain hit the glass.
“It’s really raining cats and dogs out there.” Yena stated. Minho nodded her head.
“Good thing we’re staying here for the night.” He said, throwing an arm around Yena’s shoulders.
Yena nodded her head. “Yeah, definitely.” She agreed. She snuggled closer to him and they both focused their attention back on the movie that was playig on the TV.
Goodness this was longer then I thought it would be! Hope you enjoyed! Lets see who is next!

Yena’s skinship with the members
A/N: I keep forgetting to post things! I have so many things written and keep forgetting to post.. lets see if I can actually make a posting schedule at some point... hopefully.
Dear goodness this is so soft and cute... I had so much fun writing this!
Chan:
Tumblr media
Chan and Yena are both very affectionate and cuddly people so there is usually a lot of skinship with these two.
If they sit together then Yena will naturally lean into his side or on his shoulder and Chan will wrap his arm around her.
Chan will almost always have an arm around her or they will have their arms linked together.
They both just love to hug and cuddle. Yena tends to be especially cuddly towards Chan if she is homesick.
She’ll just cling to his arm all day and follow him around.
Occasionally, piggyback rides to happen, especially if Yena is tired.
Woojin:
Tumblr media
Yena loves Woojin’s hugs.
They are always so warm and comforting to her.
At this point, if she wants a hug from Woojin, she won’t even raise her arms, she’ll just walk straight into his chest and his arms automatically wrap around her.
A lot of the time they are relaxing togther, they are leaning on each other.
Woojin likes to throw his arm around her shoulder and rest his head on top of hers because of the height difference.
He also likes to give her piggyback rides when she is tired, or literally any other time she wants one.
Minho:
Tumblr media
These two literally just do not care about anything when it comes to skinship.
Like... they are literally always attatched somehow, no matter where they are.
They have their arms linked together, arms thrown around eachother, holding hands, hugging, shoulders bumping against eachother..
literally anything they are just always cuddly
They’ve shared a bunk bed since the beginning so it really isn’t that uncommon that, if Yena is too tired, she’ll just crawl in with Minho instead of climbing up to her own bed.
They are always attatched together in some way.
Changbin:
Tumblr media
Since Yena visit Changbin in the studio so often, a lot of the time, the two end up cuddling while they work.
Yena pulls up a chair next to Changbin and just work or read silently while playing with his hair, or leaning against eachother.
Or she’ll just throw her legs over his as she sits beside him and they just silently work together
Changbin will randomly throw his arm around Yena’s shoulder while they are walking together or standing.
When they are relaxing together, they will usually curl up together
Sometimes they fall asleep like that.
Hyunjin:
Tumblr media
As mentioned before, he loves hugging her, especially backhugs.
She is basically like his personal teddy bear
He will just come up behind her at random times and hug her from behind, resting his chin on top of her head and they’ll usually end up straying like that for a while
Yena loves to play with Hyunjin’s hair so thats what she does everytime he has his head on her lap or her shoulder
Usually if they are walking then they will have their arms linked together or he’s using her head or shoulder as an elbow rest
Hyunjin is basically Yena’s personal pillow, she falls asleep very easily when they are cuddling
Jisung:
Tumblr media
Cuddles are very common among these two, especially if Jisung is tired
Jisung likes to lay on her lap or he’ll nuzzle into Yena’s side or stomach and just let her cuddle him
He goes to Yena whenever he can’t sleep. Like he’ll just climb into Yena’s bed and she’ll just cuddle him until he falls asleep
Jisung also likes to surprise Yena with hugs. Like she’ll be standing there one moment and the next she’ll be tackled to the ground or the couch because Jisung wanted a hug.
Yena also likes to ruffle his hair and pinch his cheeks a lot
Hand holding is also very common with them
Felix
Tumblr media
Good morning hugs, goodnight hugs, hello hugs, goodbye hugs. Just ALL THE HUGS
They cuddle on a daily basis, basically.
In Yena’s opinion, Felix gives some of the best hugs
These two also like to hold hands but differently then the others. Like they hand holding is more like interlocking pinkies or holding onto their wrists or something like that
Felix likes to rest his chin on her shoulder and Yena will lean her head on top of his
He also likes to use her as kind of a footrest while they are sitting somewhere. Like they’ll be sitting on the couch and he’ll just have his legs thrown over her lap or something
Seungmin:
Tumblr media
For some reason, Seungmin likes to play with Yena’s hair. On several occasions, he has asked her if he can like braid her hair
and Yena just lets him because its relaxing for her too.
They usually greet eachother with hugs and give goodbye hugs
Seungmin’s forehead has a permanent place on Yena’s shoulder.
He just likes to lean his head against her shoulder, especially when they are hugging
They will playfully bump their shoulders when they are walking past eachother or try to get the other’s attention
Jeongin:
Tumblr media
Yena likes to poke his dimples when he smiles and pinch his cheeks
Yena really love to hug Jeongin and (as much as he playfully rolls his eyes), he loves it too
He always smiles and nuzzles inter her hair when she hugs him
They always cuddle together when they are watching movies or relaxing together
Jeongin like to poke her cheek to get her attention
Yena will sometimes just lean against Jeongin’s back while they are cuddling and rest her head on his shoulder or back
And thats it for this post! Hopefully i should have a Minho chapter up soon!

Of Fevers and Cuddles
AN: Hello! So I know I havent posted in like a week or two. Sorry about that, i got kinda busy with stuff.... anyways I’m back now for more Yena and Stray Kids fluff so enjoy!
Plot: Hyunjin is down with a fever and Yena is given the responsibility of taking care of him.
Tumblr media
Hyunjin woke up to an empty and dark room, not a single sound heard from anywhere. He blinked in confusion a few times and groaned as his head began to pound. Throwing his blanket off his body, he sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. A shiver ran through his as his feet made contact with the cold floor. The cold feeling did not subside like he thought it would so he threw a random hoodie on over his t-shirt and began walking towards the door. His movements were sluggish and his head still pounding as he walked out of the room.
Hyunjin wandered around the dorm, growing more and more confused when he did not see a single one of his members anywhere. He had searched the entire dorm before finally settling down on the couch in the living room. He rested his head against the back of the couch and closed his eyes, willing his headache to go away. He stayed in that position for a few minutes, an occasional shiver running through him, until he heard the sound of the front door opening. His eyes snapped open and he lifted up his head, staring at the hallways leading to the front door just in time to see Yena walking in with a gocery bag in her hand and her phone pressed to her ear. Yena lifted her head, spotting Hyunjin sitting on the couch, she smiled.
“Hey, I have to go now. I’ll call you back later.” She said into the phone as she placed the bag on the coffee table. After saying their goodbyes, she hung up the call and walked over to where Hyunjin sat. “Hi there Jinnie, how are you feeling?” She asked him, sitting down beside him on the couch.
“Cold.” He replied, leaning towards her and resting his head on her shoulder. “And my head hurts.” He added. Yena hummed in response, bringing her hand up to his head. Hyungjin closed his eyes again. “Where were you? Where is everyone else?”
“Everyone’s at practice right now. You have a fever so we decided to let you rest for today and I stayed home to keep an eye on you.” She explained. She pressed her fingers lightly to Hyunjin’s forehead in an attempt to soothe the headache. “I just went to get a few things that we needed, including medicine.” She said. Hyunjin nodded in response, letting out a sigh when he felt the pain in his head subsiding. “Do you think you’ll be able to eat something?” She asked him.
Hyungjin thought for a moment then nodded. “I guess I could try eating something, probably not a lot though.” He said. Yena nodded and moved to stand up, causing Hyunjin to let out a whine.
She chuckled as she stood up, turning around to look at him as he dramatically fell sideways onto the couch. He layed there and looks up at her with puppy eyes. Yena rolled her eyes playfully.
“Don’t look at me like that.” She placed her hands on her hips. “I’m just going to the kitchen to make you something to eat. Just wait a little while okay? I’ll be back soon.” She said and ruffled his hair before walking out of the room, picking up the grocery bags as she passed the table.
Twenty minutes later, Yena walked back into the living room with a warm bowl of soup in her hands. She carried the bowl to the couch where Hyunjin was laying and watching TV. He smiled and sat up when he saw her entering the room. Yena smiled back, handing him the soup, carefully. She patted his head and she straightened up.
“Try to eat as much as you can, okay? I’m going to go get you some medicine.” She said. Hyunjin nodded. “Is the headache any better?”
Yeah, its a lot better then when I woke up.” Hyunjin replied. “I don’t think I really need medicine for it.” He said, taking a spoonful of soup and blowing on it to cool it down. Yena nodded and walked out of the room to where she placed the grocery bags earlier. “Please hurry Noona! I want cuddles!” He calls after her.
Yena chuckles, “Don’t worry, I’ll be right back.” She calls back. Yena then walks around the dorm, getting the medicine along with a glass of water. Then as a last thought, she goes into her room and grabs her warm, fluffy blanket from its place on her bed. After gathering everything, she heads back into the living room, just in time to see Hyunjin walking in from the kitchen. “Done already?” She asked as she places the things on the table.
Hyunjin nodded, “Can we cuddle now?”
Yena playfully rolls her eyes, a fond smile making its way onto her lips. “Okay you big baby. Just take the medicine while I set up somethig for us to watch.” She said, gesturing to the medicine and glass of water on the coffee table.
Once everything was set up, Yena found herself sitting on one side of the couch as a Studio Ghibli movie played on the TV - the two of them had decided to have a Studio Ghibli marathon for the sake of nostalgia. Hyunjin was laying across the couch, snuggled up in Yena’s blanket with his head resting on Yena’s lap. He sighed as Yena starting playing with his hair in a soothing manner. She smiled at him fondly, continuing to play with his hair.
They were halfway through their second movie when Hyunjin started to doze off. His eyes started to close and he let out a yawn, earning Yena’s attention. She smiled as she watched him struggle to stay awake and turned down the volume of the TV. She brought the blanket up to his chin and continued to play with his hair.
By the time the second movie came to an end, Hyunjin was fast asleep on Yena’s lap, lulled to sleep by the soft hum of the TV and Yena’s fingers in his hair. Yena, herself, was having a hard time staying awake. Eventually, she let herself fall asleep, her head resting against the back of the couch.
Somehow in the span of the time they had fallen asleep and when the boys came home from practice, the two of them had shifted on the couch. Yena was now half sitting, half laying on the couch with one her her legs dangling off, her back against the armrest and her head falling forward. Hyungjin was laying on his stomach, his arms loosely thrown around Yena and his face nuzzled into her stomach. The blanket that Hyunjin once used had slid off and now laying on the floor. This was the position that the other members had found them in when they had come home. Woojin and Chan cooed at the sight while the others playfully rolled their eyes.
Chan and Woojin warn the other to be quiet, earning nods of agreement and then carefully walked to the two sleeping members. Woojin propped a cushion against the armrest and carefully moved Yena’s head to rest against it. While he did that, Chan picked up the blanket and threw it back over Hyunjin, making sure he was it kept him warm. The dorm was filled with soft voices and quiet sounds as the members all moved around, trying not to disturb the two sleeping members on the couch, completely lost in their own dreams.
Thats it! Hope you enjoyed anf look forward for the next one!

Cooking Buddies
AN: Hello! So this chapter took a while to post... sorry about that I kinda got cought up with classes and assignments. Anyways! Here is some Yena and Seungmin shenanigans!
Plot: Seungmin helps Yena in the kitchen when taking a break from studying.
Tumblr media
Yena moved around the kitchen with practised ease, humming quietly to herself. She tied her long brown hair back in a ponytail and rolled up her sleeves. She began moving from cabinet to cabinet, taking out ingredients and equipment needed as she went, placing them on the counters and stove top. The pots and pans hitting the hard surfaces seemed to make more noise then they usually do because the lack of noise inside the dorm. The dorm was usually pretty noisy, mainly because it was occupied by her and nine boys, so silence was a rare occurrence in the dorm. She took the time to enjoy the rare moment of peace as she worked. Chan, Changbin and Jisung were out in the studio to work on some songs, Felix and Hyungjin were out as well to practice their rapping, Woojin and Jeongin had gone for vocal practice, Minho was asleep in his room, and Seungmin was studying in his room. Everyone had been working so hard lately that Yena had decided to make them a special dinner for them to enjoy together and relax.
Soft music played from Yena’s phone on the counter and she hummed along, smiling to herself. She had planned for this dinner ahead of time, going out yesterday to get ingredients and review the recipes one last time to make sure she didn’t miss anything. All that was left to do now was the actual cooking. She set to work, beginning to cut chicken into slices and put them to the side. She took a pot to the sink to begin filling it with water. As the pot became halfway full, Yena heard soft footsteps approaching the kitchen. She glanced over her shoulder as she turned the water off and saw Seungmin walking in with tired eyes. She smiled at him as she places the pot onto the stove to boil.
“Hey Seungminie!” Yena said. Seungmin mumbled a greeting in response, throwing an arm around her shoulders and giving her a quick side hug. He then pulls away and leans against the counter beside where Yena is standing at the stove. “How’s the homework going?” She asked and he sighs in return.
“Don’t ask.” He answers. Yena’s expression softens and she pats his shoulder sympathetically. “Do you need help, noona?” He asks as he watches her dump the pasta into the pot of now boiling water. “If I keep thinking about homework, I will start ripping my hair out.”
Yena chuckles, “Sure Seungminie. I could always use some extra hands.” He smiles. “Could you start coating the chicken? The batter is in the fridge.”
Seungmin nods and smiles at Yena, moving over to the fridge. The two of them continue to work together, talking queitly as they worked. Yena started making the sauce for the food as Seungmin was working with the chicken.
Soon, delicious smells filled the air and the sound of sizzling could be heard coming from the stove. Seungmin had taken to frying up the chicken as Yena cut up the vegetables, leaving the sauce to cook on the stove. At some point in time, Seungmin had changed the music so now both of them were singing softly along to Day6 songs as they worked.
Yena stirred the sauce before dipping a spoon into the sauce and bringing it up. “Seungminie, how does this taste?” She asks him, bringing the spoon close to his face. He leaned forward and let her feed him the sauce, making a small sound. Yena cooed at his cuteness and he smiled at her, his eyes lighting up.
“Its really good, noona!” He said, causing a smile to make its way onto her face. She thanks him and takes takes the sauce off the stove. She then checked up on the pasta and took it to strain it in the sink.
Seungmin finished frying up the chicken and began to clean up the things they had finished using while Yena worked on completing the pasta. Once he was done cleaning up he went back to where Yena stood stirring the sauce. He stood behind her and leaned his forehead against her shoulder, his hands stuffed into the pockets on his hoodie. Yena brought her hand up and ruffled his hair, leaning her head against his.
“Do I have to go back to doing my homework?” Seungmin complained, causing Yena to chuckle and pinch his cheek.
“Unfortunately, yes you do, Minnie” she answers and hears him whine against her shoulder. She smiles, “Tell you what. Once we finish making the food, I’ll help you with your honework, or just sit with you and keep you sane.” She suggests as a compromise. “And I’ll take you out for coffee or ice cream when you’re done.”
Seungmin lifted his head and smiled brightly at her. “I’d like that. Thank you, noona.” He said. He hopped onto the counter as Yena went back to working on the finishing the dishes. He turned up the music and they both began to sing along again, getting more and more passionate as the songs went on.
Some time later, when a sleepy Minho stumble into the kitchen to get some water he was met with the an interesting sight. Seungmin and Yena were passionately singing along to Congratulations by Day6, using spoons as microphones and sliding around the kitchen while something was cooking on the stove. He blinked twice when they didn’t notice him and then slowly started backing out of the room, deciding to just leave them alone.
“I’m too tired for this.”

Prove Them Wrong
AN: sorry for not posting yesterday! I kinda got distracted and was too tired! I keep telling myself to post earlier because I always end up actually posting when its around 12am but it never ends up happening. In the case of this chapter, its literally 3:30 am here when I’m posting this.
Plot: It is time for the first elimination among the members and Minho and Yena’s friendship grows stronger.
Tumblr media
The ten of the them stood anxiously in a line on the stage, facing JYP who sat in front of the stage in a desk. It was time for JYP’s announcement on whether or not there will be an elimination. A tense atmosphere surrounded the people standing in the room due to the gravity on the situation. Yena was standing next to Chan, hands in front of her, nails digging into the wrist of her opposite arm.
JYP sighed and looked up towards the members. “I wish I didn’t have to do this, but I have to eliminate people who I feel are not ready to debut or do not fit with the group.” He says.
Yena’s heartbeat quickened at his words. That last statement was definitely meant for her since she was the only girl in the group. She knew she didn’t fit the concept of the group. She was too soft and different for the concept the group had since she trained differently from them. She was trained for elegant and fluid movements as a, mainly, modern and contemporary dancer. She was not trained for the hard hitting choreographies that the group usually did. She was too different and she knew it. She was definitely getting eliminated-
A hand on Yena’s shoulder stopped her train of thought. She jumped slightly and looked to her side. Chan had his hand resting on her shoulder, squeezing it in reassurance. She gave him a small smile as thanks and tried to focus back on what JYP was saying.
“I’m sorry but I have made my decision. There will be an elimination today.” He said, looking back down at the papers in front of him. Minho, Jeongin, Hyunjin, and Yena all stepped forward, being the ones in the most danger of being eliminated. There were a few minutes of tense silence as they stood there, anxiously waiting for him to continue. Yena and Hyunjin stood beside eachother in front of the rest of their group members. Yena’s small hand was clutched in Hyunjin’s bigger one, offering eachother some support. “The ones who are eliminated are...” Ones. Plural. Realization struck them all at once making them all tense up. More then one of them will have to leave today. Hyunjin and Yena squeezed eachother’s hands as JYP opened his mouth again. “Minho and Yena”
Yena didn’t realize she was holding her breath until a disappointed sigh left her lips. Hyunjin immediately turned to Yena and hugged her tightly, completely hiding her small frame from view. Yena hugged him back with a sad smile on her face, her eyes burning as tears started forming. When she finally let go, she could tell he didn’t want to let go judging by how he nuzzled into the top of her head, but he did let go, hesitantly. She quickly wiped away the tears that were threatening to fall from her eyes and went on to hug the other members. Almost everyone was crying after the announcement.
“Sorry Noona” Jisung said while crying but Yena just smiled and hugged him tightly.
“Hey, its okay. I’ll just have to try even harder now.” She said softly. She heard him mumble something as she pulled away and ruffled his hair. “Now work hard and make me proud.” She said to him. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw Minho and Chan hugging eachother, crying and apologizing to eachother and Woojin walking towards her. She let go of Jisung and walked right into Woojin as the tears threatened to fall from her eyes again, his arms instantly wrapped around her. They didn’t say anything to eachother as they hugged, just swaying side to side as Yena tried to blink away her tears. After a while, they pulled away from eachother, Woojin gave her an encouraging smile and another quick hug before letting go. She sniffled as he walked away, going over the comfort Minho.
Yena felt arms wrap around her from behind and a chin landed on top of her head. She knew it was Chan right away and leaded back against him. Her eyes were burning with tears and her throat was beginning to close up now. She was trying very hard not to cry and Chan’s hug wasn’t helping.
“I promised that I’d make sure you’d debut. I’m sorry I couldn’t keep that promise.” He whispered to her. Yena’s breath caught in her throat and she turned around to hug him back. She buried her face into her chest as the tears began to stream down her cheeks and his arms tightened around her.
“Told you not make promised you can’t keep, Chris.” She said in a joking manner. “But, you tried your hardest and thats all that matters. You tried more then anyone else I know and I really appreciate it. You helped a lot and I learned a lot from you. You really are an amazing leader.” She said to him with a serious voice. “Thank you, Chris.” She mumbled through her tears. He hugged her tightly as a response and patted the top of her head in a brotherly manner.
After everyone had hugged and cried to eachother, it was finally time for Minho and Yena to leave. Sad smiles and tears were seen on everyone’s faces as the two of them waved at the others and left the stage. They walked out of the room side by side, their arms linked together as they walked. They were led to the room where the interviews would be held and told to wait while the staff got everything set up.
They stood against the wall as they waited. Yena wrapped her arms around Minho and rested her head against his shoulder as he hugged her back.
“You did great out there.” She said to him quietly. His arms tightened around her, his chin resting on her shoulder.
“You did too, Yena.” He said. “We both tried our best.” He added after a few seconds of silence as they both pulled away. The staff was still busy setting things up so Yena and Minho sat quietly in the chairs that were placed against the wall, both of them deep in thought.
Suddenly, Yena turned to Minho with a determined look on her face. She nudged him with her shoulder to get him attention. He turned to her and raised an eyebrow at her in question.
“They think we aren’t ready to debut. So, let show them just how ready we are.” Yena said. There was a fire in her eyes as she spoke. “We’ll work hard and blow them away.”
Minho chuckled. “Looks like somebody gained their confidence back.” He says. “But yeah. Let’s prove them wrong.” He said, feeling a new sense of determination. He held his hand out towards her and she grabbed it with her own, holding it tightly.
“We won’t let anything stand in our way!” Yena gave his hand a squeeze, both of them feeling more determined then they felt just minutes before. They agreed to stick together and support eachother. They were not alone in this situation.
“We’ll show them just what we can do.”
And there we go! I’m thinking of having separate chapters of Yena and each of the member. Just little scenes of her with each of them to show their friendship.

Happy Birthday
A/N: Here is a little thing I came up with on the spot for Minho’s birthday. Its not the best of my work but I honestly didn’t have a lot of time to soend writing this and I’m still oretty happy with it.
Plot: Just a little scene the morning of Minho’s birthday.
Tumblr media
*Poke*
Minho is brought out of his dreams by an annoying poking on his cheek.
*Poke*
He groans and rolls over, trying to get away from the poking.
*Poke* *Poke*
Minho has finally had enough. He hesitantly opens his eyes when the poking continues and come face to face with Seungmin.
Seungmin is standing beside Minho’s bed with messy hair and an innocent smile on his face. His finger is outstretched as if he was preparing to poke Minho again but then realized Minho was awake.
“What is it Seungmin?” Minho asked in a sleepy voice, eyes blinking sleepily as he looked at the other boy.
“Morning hyung!” Seungmin said with a smile. “Everyone is already awake so Yena noona sent me to wake you up for breakfast.” He explained, earning a groan from the sleepy boy.
“Just tell her I’ll eat later. I’m not getting up right now.” He said becore rolling over and bringing the blanket over his head.
“But hyung! Noona said you needed to wake up now!” Seungmin complained. The sleepy boy did not move or respond. Seungmin sighed, “Fine then.” He said and left the room.
Minho grinned and closed his eyes, willing himself to fall back asleep. The room was quiet and his blanket was very warm and comfortable so it did not take him long. However, right as he was about to fall into a deep slumber, the door to the room opened. Minho’s senses were almost immediately flooded with the smells of delicious breakfast food and he heard soft footsteps making their way over to his bed. The bed dipped slightly beside him as someone took a seat and the blanket was pulled away from his head. He stubbornly kept his eyes closed, hoping the person just goes away.
“I know you’re awake, Minho.” Yena’s voice came from beside him, smile evident even in her voice. “Get up Sleeping Beauty, everybody’s waiting on you for breakfast.”
Minho rolled over to face Yena and opened his eyes. He looked up at her smiling and gave her a confused frown. “Can’t you all just eat without me? I’m too tired right now.” He mumbled.
Yena smiled and rolled her eyes. “Come on Min, you can’t stay here all day! Especially not today! We worked very hard to make you an amazing birthday breakfast!” She said. She shifted and leaned down so that she was now lying on the bed beside Minho. He smiled and scooted over slightly to give her more room. He threw an arm around her and brought the blanket up around them as they shifted to get comfortable. They shifted around until they were both laying on their stomachs with their arms under their heads. Yena smiled, feeling the warmth of the blanket around her.
“What’s wrong with staying in bed all day?” Minho said. “You can’t deny that it’s comfortable.” He added with a chuckle causing Yena to roll her eyes.
“I can’t believe you actually are thinking of sleeping through most of your birthday.” She said in disbelief. Minho just closed his eyes and nuzzled into the pillow. “Let me rephrase that. You really think I’m going to let let you do that?” She raised an eyebrow. Minho sighed and opened his eyes.
“Of course not.” Minho chuckled. “What kind of best friend would you be if you let me have some much needed sleep time?” Minho added sarcastically, causing Yena to giggle. “Just a few more minutes, though. This is way too comfortable.” Minho mumbles and cuddles closer to her. Yena sighs but agrees anyway, cuddling him back.
After a few minutes of them cuddling, the two her a knock coming from the door. They turned their heads to see Changbin standing in the doorway, holding a plate in his hand.
“You guys were taking too long so we just decided to bring the breakfast here before it gets cold.” Changbin said as all the boys piled into the room, carrying plates of food and Chan carried a tray of hot chocolate. They all situated themselves in various places around the room while Yena and Minho just sat up and leaned against the wall beside the bed. Idle chatter filled the room as everyone settled and began eating the breakfast they had made.
“We have a busy day of birthday celebration planned out for today so eat up everyone!” Woojin said. Minho sighed jokingly causing Yena to laugh from her spot next to him.
“Looks like your plans of sleeping the day away will have to be postponed, Minho.” Yena says, playfully nudging his side. They all continued to eat breakfast and converse among themselves, just enjoying eachother’s company. Yena leaned against Minho’s shoulder, smiling up at him. “Happy birthday Minho.” She whispered and pulled him into a side hug. He smiled and hugged her back, being careful with the food they were both holding.
“Thank you, Yena”
That’s it for today! I hope you guys liked it!

The Promise
A/N: The actual chapters finally begin! Tbh, this ended up being longer then I initially thought it was. This is the first ever chapter I’m post and I’m slightly nervous haha. Anyways.. i hope you enjoy!
Note: Also a quick note! The conversations are gonna be in English and I switch between Chris and Chan. Chan calls her Evie in the story but she is referred to as Yena.
Plot: Chan and Yena’s interaction predebut and Chan asks Yena to join the group for the evaluation.
Enjoy~
Tumblr media
Yena laid on the cold floor of the practice room, breathing heavily from exhaustion. She stared up at the ceiling as she tried to catch her breath. Her brown hair fanned out on the floor above her head as she enjoyed the feeling of the cold floor against the her skin on her neck and arms. She had been practicing for so long that she had lost track of how many hour she had spent in that practice room. She closed her eyes and laid there for a little while longer, allowing her breathing to regulate before doing anything else.
I should probably get up now Yena decided after a few moments of regaining her breath. A groan left her lips as she rolled over and pushed herself off the floor, her body protesting against the movement. Once she was on her feet she slowly moved to the corner of the room where she had placed her bag. She grabbed the sweatshirt she had discarded a few hours ago and threw it on before grabbing her phone and bag.
Once the bag was situtated over her shoulders she walked out of the door, turning the lights off as she exited. As she made her way down the empty hallways, she checked the time and her eyes widened with surprise. Huh, its nearly two a.m... Well, I guess my idea of grabbing some food is not going to happen.. too late now. she thought, listening to the sound of her footsteps echoing through the halls.
“Great... Just my luck” Yena mumbled to herself when she finally reached the entrance of the building and caught a glimpse of the awful weather outside. The rain was pounding down on the street outside and lightning flashed occasionally. She stared at the rain blankly for a moment, weighing her options in her head. It was late, and she knew she needed to get back to her dorm. She sighed, realizing she would just have to brave through the rain to get hone. She tide her long hair back into a ponytail and braced her, ready to run, when footsteps behind her made her stop in her tracks.
“Oh! Evie is that you? What are you still doing here?” A familiar voice spoke from behind her in an Australian accent. Yena smiled and turned around, coming face to face with none other than Chan. She could see how tired he was as he made his way towards her.
“Hey Chris! I was actually practicing and I kind of lost track of time.” She answered earning a chuckle from Chan. “I was just about to head out but...” she trailed off and weakly gestured towards the heavy rain pouring down outside. “What about you?” She added. By this point Chan had reached Yena so she leaned into him for a quick hug as his eyes caught sight of the outside world.
Chan sighed, “I was actually working on some songs, as usual.” He said, “Its really coming down out there, huh?” Yena nodded in response.
“I was really looking forward to just collapsing on my bed and sleeping for a week.” Yena said with a pout, earning a chuckled from Chan.
“Well, looks like both of our plans of going home are out of the question for now. So, you wanna get some food from the vending machines and stay in one of the studios to wait out the rain?” Chan suggested, throwing an arm around Yena’s shoulders.
Yena smiled, “Oh yeah, that sounds way better than my plan of sprinting through the rain all the way back to my dorm.” She stated.
“Great, lets go then.” Chan said as he began leading her through the hallways using the arm around her shoulders.
An hour later, Yena and Chan found themselves sitting on the floor in one of the practice rooms, watching videos and eating snacks from the vending machine. They had set up camp in the corner of the room, leaning against the wall. Well... Chan was leaning against the wall. Yena was leaning into Chan’s side more than against the wall.
“You are really determined to do well here, aren’t you?” Chan asked Yena. All the snack were almost gone and they had taken a break from watching videos, opting to just listen to some music instead. Yena nodded her and and leaned her head against his shoulder.
“Yeah, you could say that.” Yena sighed. “It’s just... I’ve been training for five years now. After all these years of trying and being disappointed when I don’t make it... I’m starting to get a bit disheartened.” She admitted. “So this time, I wanted to try my hardest to do well. If I don’t make it this time...” Yena paused for a moment and sighed, “I don’t really know what I’m gonna do if I don’t make it this time...” she finished.
Chan’s arm tightened around her shoulders. He understood where she was going with that statement. He had been here for seven years and he knew her feeling all too well.
“I see what you mean... Its been a while for both of us.” He says. They fall into a comfortable silence after that, both of them deep in thought. Music played softly in the background as the minutes passed by.
Suddenly, Chan turns to look down and Yena and smiles. Yena craned her neck to look up at Chan’s smiling face with a curious expression. “How about a promise?” Chan started. “I promise that I am going to make sure you debut.”
“How are you even planning on keeping that promise, Chris?” Yena asked, playfully rolling her eyes.
“You know the evaluations coming up?” Yena nods. “Well, I’m forming a group for it and since I know you and all you can do. I wanted to ask you to join the group.” Chan explained.
“Aren’t you forming a boy group, though?” Yena asked him curiously. “How would I even fit with that?” She added, unsure.
“Yeah its a boy group, but I feel like you would do well. You would stand out too so you can show off your talents better.” Chan explains. Yena still looked at him with an unsure expression. “I want to help and make sure you debut. I promise you will debut.” He said.
“You really shouldn’t promise things that are out of your control.” Yena says with a chuckle. “But...” she things for a moment. “I guess we could give this a try.” She agreed with a smile. “Thanks for this, Chris.”
Chan just nodded and let Yena snuggle closer to him. They continued to aimlessly talk afterwards until the background music stopped playing. Neither of them were bothered by the lack of music, both too tired to actually care. Eventually their conversation came to a stop as well as both of them fell asleep in the corner of the practice room, cuddled up together.
And thats it! I might be posting a small special chapter for Minho’s birthday tomorrow. I would have posted it today but I already had this chapter written up so the Minho birthday chapter can wait until tomorrow!

Yena’s Idol Friends
AN: Okay so the actual chapters are going to start from tomorrow! Here is my last little introduction post so enjoy!
Astro Moonbin:
Tumblr media
She was trainee in Fantagio for almost 4 years before she came to JYP so she used to train with the members of Astro. Moonbin was the first friend she made when she came to Korea. They have a very close friendship with eachother because of all the time they spent together during their trainee days. They would usually dance together and give eachother feedback while practicing. And though Moonbin, Yena became close with the rest of Astro. So, Yena is close with all the Astro members but she is the closest with Moonbin.
Weki Meki Doyeon and Yoojung:
Tumblr media
Same as Astro, they are her friends from when she was in Fantagio. Out of everyone in Weki Meki, she is the closest with Doyeon and Yoojung. They are all in constant contact with eachother and they talk very often. Yena, Yoojung and Doyeon spent most of their time as trainees together, especially Yena and Yoojung because they trained in Fantagio for almost the same amount of time.
Up10tion Xiao:
Tumblr media
To be honest, not even they knew how they became friends. They just met at some point and instanty became friends. Yena and Xiao basically became friends by crying over puppies together. Yes. The foundation of their friendship is puppies. These two are very soft and fluffy friends who are always smiling and laughing together.
IM66 Hangyul:
Tumblr media
They met during a dance competition some time before people knew about them and the two of them just kept in contact after that. Their friendship isn’t really in the cameras and they don’t really see each other often so most people don’t even realize that they are friends. Their friendship is pretty funny though, they like to joke around with each other a lot.
Alright guys and thats it! I really need to start posting earlier starting tomorrow so I don’t stay up all night typing up the chapters.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and look forward to the coming chapters!
