Eyyy!!!! Good to see him again! And so soon!
But also, I love how Himoto - a kami that represents the concept of the Emperor's Spark - still existing allows Kaito to planeswalk. Meanwhile, the Emperor's actual Spark went poof, so she's chilling on the couch and playing with her dog.
Good news, everyone!
MY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BOY RETURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m still trying to figure out how he breathes but that’s a question for the future.
But seriously, does he have a blowhole or…?

Vraska: Loot, we need you to help us find a place, alright?
Loot: [understanding chirping]
Vraska: Can you show us the way to Equilor?
Loot:
Loot, in a GPS voice: Planning route to. Equilor. Let's go. Turn right.
Vraska:
Jace: Ok, that's weird, right?

Kiku was one of my favorite characters in the novels and when I looked up her card and saw that design, I was quite cross. Great redesign, Bace!
I'm absolutely team "just fucking redesign the character yourself if you don't like how they look". I despised the character design for Kiku, Night's Flower so much, I was like "naw, she's my character now, kick rocks" and created some of my favorite designs.
(The second is a New Capenna variant)
Anybody else do this?

So, here's a question. Is this something anyone would be interested in watching?
I've been thinking of starting a YouTube series about finally getting into Final Fantasy after over thirty years. The premise would be that I didn't like it at the start, but am willing to give it a shot and play through each numbered main franchise entry (and important sequel and spinoff games, like Crisis Core, or 13-2 and 13-3). I'd start with what I know about each game and my experience with them in the past, as well as a little bit of the history behind each game. I could talk to friends about their experiences with each game, interview style. There would also be a streaming component to this project, where I play the game for a few hours on regular days and times. Each episode would cover the major story arcs, and at the end of every game (and sub-series), there would be a wrap-up episode.
I've got a name picked out and some plans in the works, but I want to make sure there would be an audience for this kind of thing before seriously starting.

All this talk about sets that sold well has got me curious: what was the best selling premier set of all time?
Right now? I think Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty holds that record.
