Water and the Nazca Lines

It is my belief that the lines are linked to water. I theorize that the lines and figures are actually paths to ceremonial sites where rituals to deities for water would take place. I write about in my book, The Nazca Lines: A New Perspective on their Origin and Meaning.

Preserving the lines has become very important to me. I try to sweep them as often as possible to make sure they don't disappear.

The lines are incredibly mathematically precise. The Nazca Indians must have used a very sophisticated technique when creating them. To me, this is more evidence that the lines were used as an astrological cycle calendar.
