what kind of warmth are you?

sun shining on your face

you're encouraging, brave in your kindness, and intentional about bringing healing to all those you love. your warmth is obvious, but commonly misunderstood. at first glance, people may take your positivity as naivety; it is the opposite. you have seen the cruelty of this world, and that's why you choose to be recklessly warm. you find comfort in nature and love random acts of kindness. you probably remember one specific stranger really well, even though you never saw them again. but they gave you a bit of warmth that you carry with you everywhere you go. i hope you know you are that stranger for others. the kindness you give out is helping others be kind in ways you may never see. i see you, and i'm proud of you. i hope you're proud of yourself too.

🌙 CRESCENT MOON — what would you say is your current biggest dream and/or career aspiration and why?

The biggest dream would probably be to solve the puzzle. And as quickly as possible. To find an end. Casper basically can't wait to calm down and return to the sea. A life with family, the sea and a job at sea.

✈️ AIRPLANE — have you traveled anywhere that helped you discover something about yourself and/or about the world?

No, unfortunately not. Casper has never really been travelling. The biggest step away from home was studying in Glasgow. Of course, he learnt something about himself there too, but so far it hasn't been very enlightening.

☀️ SUN — would you describe yourself as more of an introvert or extrovert, or are you somewhere in between? how come?

Rather extroverted - but not in the cool and flirty way. More like a curious child who asks a lot of questions or talks a lot to dispel the silence. Or who talks nonsense because he wants to have fun. Casper is really curious when it comes to getting to know strangers and is usually a little too guileless.

🫂 PEOPLE HUGGING — generally speaking, do you feel very supported by the people in your life? how strong and cohesive is your support system, if you have one? do you often feel like you're at the front of the line or pushed to the side by the people in your life?

Casper feels quite supported by his parents and friends, apart from Jonathan. Although even with Jonathan, there are glimmers of support. It's just that nobody can support him with the biggest puzzle yet. But that's more because Casper is keeping it a secret. He wouldn't know how to talk about it anyway. It sounds too crazy. Nevertheless, he feels more like an outsider since his studies. Not necessarily because other students push him into this role, but because of his lack of skills. It's as if everyone is always one step ahead of him and that the gap to the others will become too big.

🎨 ARTIST PALETTE — what are some hobbies that you like to partake in? do you think they're just to pass time or to distract yourself, or do you believe some of them potentially have therapeutic outcomes for you?

His favourite hobby would probably be sailing and that was definitely therapeutic for him. Almost meditative. But he can hardly do that any more. As a student, he now devotes himself more to things like listening to music and meeting friends. Neither is necessarily therapeutic, but it distracts him and takes his mind off things. Especially when his studies are stressful.

❤️ RED HEART — what is/are your love language(s)? how do you use it/them to communicate your feelings about others?

That would probably be a mixture of fooling around and physical contact. It would always be important to Casper to have fun with his partner and make her laugh. Even when times are shitty. Casper would never want you to lose your optimism together. Apart from that, he would probably often hug her with light pressure or generally hold her in his arms a lot.

💞 REVOLVING HEARTS — who and/or what are you most grateful for in your life?

Casper is grateful to have grown up in a sheltered environment and to have always had people by his side that he could rely on. People who loved and supported him. He never had to go through difficult times alone.

🪄 MAGIC WAND — would you describe yourself as a superstitious person (someone who believes in superstitions)? do you believe in luck?

Casper is not necessarily superstitious. He believes in science and that there is a reasonable explanation for everything. Unfortunately, he is also very jumpy and anxious. So even if he tried to stay calm in an abandoned building, a cemetery or any other creepy place, it would be scary for him. After all, there could be more to it than he realises. He has already learnt this lesson since his studies.

🤝 HANDSHAKE — do family or platonic relationships mean more to you? or do they mean different things to you?

Casper could never decide between family and friendship. For him, they are two completely different types of bond and love that cannot be compared. But that's only because he was lucky enough to be born into a family where people are close. Both - friendships and family - provide support in their very own way.
