So just finished watching the first four episodes of Vampire Academy and to quote a girl on tik tok ‘far from perfect, but so far from the train wreck that I was expecting.’

At first I was like nope, no no and no! The eye things, the set design and just the whole vibe was not it. And I still stand by that howeverrrr, as I got more into it and we started to get to know the characters and the storylines I do still have hope. Christian’s story I love (I was kinda bored of him in the books so his story is probs one of the things I was pleasantly surprised by and enjoy more) and I didn’t like Dimitri at first but he’s growing on me. Rose and lissa, I love, only problem is how they’re depicting the shadow bond and how quickly they’re figuring it out. I feel like the show is moving to quickly, I was expecting a slower burn with a little more suspense like in the books but I’m kinda sure that they’re gonna be upping the anti just not in the way we know with the books. Leaving it as a surprise, whether a good one or not I don’t know.

I am pleasantly surprised and will probs, definitely, keep watching. (The movie is better 😜110%)

Tbh the more I read peoples perpective of tamlin’s story I understand that he was never really truly there for feyre while Rhys is constantly, I dunno I think I’m not mentally ready for the SJM books. I’ve had a long ass week and just want a good romance with a bit of angst and a splash of spice. I might pick them back up at another time, I am still kinda sad Tamlin becomes what he becomes and that feyre went thru all that just to end up with another guy, even if the other guy is the right one for her.

So just finished reading ACOTAR and loved it, loved feyre and tamlin’s relationship and how everything ended in the first book. However, I was confused about Rhysand and who he ends up with since everything works out with feyre and Tamlin so I head to Google. I don’t think I can continue reading ACOTAR, I’m super upset over Tamlin and the end of his and feyre’s relationship and I was super confused by it so I read the wiki summaries of it on Reddit and I’m really really upset over how they become enemies and Tamlin looses everything!!! How he ends up almost back where he started, maybe even worse then where he started. I hate it so much I can’t even get behind Rhysand and feyre. I was looking forward to continuing the books but I’m actually tearful at how his story plays out. I just think it’s really unfair

Did everyone feel this way when finding out that Tamlin and feyre’s relationship ends? Or just me?

Don’t get me wrong probs gonna be super fun to watch, but this scene alone just shows how far the show is from the books. The students would probably do this but Dimitri? Other guardians? Fat chance. They’re to busy dealing with Moroi protection and being Yknow serious guardians.

I’m excited to see what they’re gonna do but I’m also kinda sad I’m not gonna see the books being made accurately.

To me this was really sad, she was probably one of the mightiest Targaryens ever to live and they ended her story like her whole journey meant nothing, her whole ideologies and beliefs gone in the blink of 2 episodes. It’s almost like how dare you make reference to her time when you completely demolished her story and her ending.

I was kinda confused cause 1)then why would he have a Russian name👀 2)what about the fact that Rose spends the whole book in Russia, what about Roza, what about half of their jokes😟

Random but Hannah to me was the weak link out of the liars. A played her so much because she fell for it every time! She would impulsively fall for A’s plans, she was a terrible liar and would be defensive and would always be dramatic around detective tanner, who isn’t a small time cop which Caleb told her, and she still underestimated and acted guilty infront of!

Like she’s hilarious but also infuriating! Like A framed them for so much, and she doubted her mum for so long, falling straight into A’s trap, and she was surprised that her mum got arrested! If she had just been a little less impulsive and listen to those around her she might not of ended up with her mum in prison!!!!
