First post, first share. Wonder if this will work correctly...
All my lots and houses are jam-packed with CC, which is impossible for me to link individually and credit with. So thanks to all the content creators out there once and for all.
PLEASE let me know if you download this and it works correctly in-game! Thanks.

Hi there! I was wondering if you could help me? I'd like to put a house I made up for download soon, but I have no idea how to get the house out of my game, yet alone upload it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!
Sure thing buddy ol’ pal! Here’s how you can do it:
.sims3pack:
THIS great tutorial shows you how to export a house in .sims3pack form.
.package:
1. Save a copy of your house to the Library:
(image cred)
2. Open up your Library folder in C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library (or Mac equivalent)
3. As you can see (or maybe not because it’s too small lol) the file names don’t correspond to the item you saved. So click “Date Modified” on the top of your folder to sort by date (I don’t know how to do this on Mac, but I’m sure there is a way).
4. Copy the most recent .package file in the folder and paste it in a new folder/your desktop/wherever (or you can just move it tbh…moving a library file while the game is running won’t cause any crashes).
5. You can now rename it to match your .sims3pack file.
PROTIP:
When you export a house in .sims3pack form, a .package copy is automatically saved to your library, so you can skip the “Save Copy to Library” part (if you want both a .sims3pack and .package copy, that is)
Making a .zip file:
1. Download the proper 7-zip file for your computer (link) and install.
2. Put a copy of all the files you want to include in your download in a new folder.
3. Right click the folder with your files and choose 7-zip > Add to archive…
4. Choose whichever settings you want and click OK. An archive folder will be created in the same location as your download folder. (the settings I use are shown below)
5. You can now upload the archive folder to whichever file sharing website you prefer! I use Simfileshare, but Mediafire and Google Drive are also good, free options! Just make an account (you’ll need an invite code for SFS, message me for one if you want) and the upload procedure is pretty self-explanatory.
6. Extra extra bonus points if you don’t use adfly. ;)
Things to Consider:
When you export a house as a .sims3pack, any .sims3pack CC files are saved with it (as long as you don’t clear your DCBackup folder). .package files, however, are not. That means, when you share a house, you must include all CC .package files with the download.
When you export a house as a .package, no CC files are saved with the house.
Feel free to link people to the CC you used, but try to limit the links to a maximum of 10.
Good luck!!!!
