if typing words onto a screen isn't working, try scrawling them onto paper. if that doesn't work, try speaking the words into a microphone or telling the story to a friend or replaying it over and over in your imagination.
the first draft just needs go exist, in whatever form. once you know what story you're telling, you can change it from one to another.
find a way that helps you figure out your story and do that. don't worry if it's not the same way as someone else.

... I've kept busy like you tasked me with on Ultima Thule. We made it to the ruins beneath the Bounty and found a way to the Thirteenth from there. You've a funny way of imparting information.
But I confess it's not always so exciting. Between world-traversing adventures there's a great deal of downtime. I try to stay preoccupied. Idle hours make me rather melancholic, and when I'm melancholic it worries the others. I don't want to worry anyone.

I think I scrapped this one about 4 times in frustration before committing to this style... so I'll have to re-draw Wyll so that he matches!
I really love these two, especially Dame Aylin - she's such a compelling character and her voice acting is just amazing. Isobel annoyed me for being so eager to get captured, but I like her story.
