the weirdest/hardest part of both grandfathers' deaths, aside from the obvious, has got to be me calling my other parents about it to tell them. not because my bio-parents aren't best friends (they are) but because neither of them was/is in a place where they could call each other and neither of them wanted to break the news over text.
