"The sun always feels nice...I think everyone feels happier when the sun is out..I know the plants do." Griffon shifted a little then, raising her arms to stretch them above her head, a small click sounding from one of her shoulders that didn't bother her in the slightest.
At the next question Griffon blinked a few times before looking at Burnie in slight confusion before catching on and looking to the bonsai. "..No..It's got no name yet..it's only been here a short time."
Bonsai Buddy||Burnie & Griffon
A smile formed on Burnie’s face, matching Griffon’s, and he crossed one leg over the other and leaned back on his elbows. “God, the sun is nice, isn’t it?” He said on the offhand, tilting his head upwards to let the sun fall on it. He looked back at Griffon, then at the small bonsai next to her. He could tell her attention was more on that than anything else, so he decided to inquire about it. “Does it have a name?”

Griffon seemed to hold off her own movements when Burnie reached out, eyes watching what he was doing before she relaxed and went back to stroking the little tree. It was nice to see someone else treating it kindly.
"A greenhouse..?" She seemed to hum at the idea, head tilting ever so slightly. It did mean slightly more exotic plants could grow without her aid..that would be nice. "Yes..I think that would be a very sweet thing to do.." Griffon replied then, looking to Burnie with a smile.
Bonsai Buddy||Burnie & Griffon
A small chuckle left Burnie‘s lips, and he reached out to gently pet one of the branches of the tree. The office had some weird characters, and Burnie acknowledged that. There was a god damn werewolf, vampire, and dragon all roaming the building right now. Hell, talking to trees wasn’t that weird. “We’ll have to build something for all of the plants we’re accumulating, won’t we?” He asked, motioning to the large expanse of land a few of the guys were shooting on. “Something like a greenhouse, or something?”

Usually Griffon wouldn't fall into a full conversation with the plants around the office, mainly because she didn't want to cause anyone any discomfort or to be confronted about what they'd see as 'strange' ways. However today she slipped and here she was.
Eyes slowly moving to look up at Burnie the blonde let a small smile cross her lips before she looked back to the plant. For some reason Burnie always seemed that bit interested in what she did. Brushing a finger over the leaves once more she spoke up again.
"It said that it wanted to come outside to the sunlight because it wasn't having any in the building..." Griffon murmured softly, legs slowly moving to cross.
Bonsai Buddy||Burnie & Griffon
It was a slow day at the office, and Burnie took the day in stride. He helped Miles finish some little things with season 13 (the anticipation was killing him.), but besides that, Burnie had nothing on his to-do list. He lounged around outside, soaking in the soft Austin sun that had been hidden all winter. The wind felt nice on his neck, and he watched as people went in and out of the office, building props and shooting skits, and everything in between. Burnie heard someone muttering, followed by a giggle, and curiosity took over. The soft words led Burnie to Griffon, who seemed to be enthralled in her conversation with the bonsai plant. A smile spread on Burnie’s face, and he cleared his throat behind her to get her attention. “Hey, Griffon, whatcha got there?” He asked, sitting next to her and peering at the small plant.

"Dewess park, 8 am." Griffon nodded a little then, toes curling into the fabric of the carpet a little as she did so. She enjoed the feeling of it beneath her feet more than the feeling of stone or concrete.
The timing of their meeting allowed Griffon some time to shower with was always a good thing, though Griffon didn't mind not having that luxury.
She Speaks For The Trees - [Griffon and Miles]
He returned her smile with one of his own. “Perfect. We’ll meet at Dewess Park at the east side of town, say 8 AM?” That would give him time to work till the episode was done, and have enough time for a shower before making the drive. Working till morning? Not hard. Working through the next day without a shower? Hell no.

Bonsai Buddy||Burnie & Griffon
It was quiet days like this Griffon enjoyed. The days where she could sit outside the office for a few hours and simply enjoy it. Sometimes she'd speak to the nearby plants or she'd just sit quietly and enjoy the breeze.
This time Griffon had brought a small bonsai tree from inside the office out, its want to be out in the sunlight being heard and answered by the woman. Setting the plant down she brushed a finger over its leaves before smiling softly. "..You look very healthy, Little one...I'm surprised considering where you live.." There was silence following the statement-- that was if you weren't Griffon. It took a moment but she soon let out a soft giggle, shaking her head. Silly Bonsai.
She went on like this for at least half an hour before the sound of someone softly clearing their throat caught her attention.

“I suppose that would be nice.”
Watching as Miles swung his chair around Griffon let her head tilt to the side a little, her smile growing ever so slightly.
“Oh I’m sure the walk will be no bother.” The blonde replied then, nodding a little as she glanced over the area. “I’m more than happy to go when you are able too.”
She Speaks For The Trees - [Griffon and Miles]
"Might find some more on the way."
Miles swung his chair around to face the newcomer. She had an almost wistful look on her face, even with the smile. "Understandable. It’s not too far away. Little bit of a hike if I remember correctly. We could go tomorrow, when I’m done with this stuff." He said, waving a hand over the script and monitors. A escape sounded wonderful, but not possible today with two episodes and mo-cap to run.

"It’s old enough."  Griffon stepped a little further into the room then, glancing about slightly as she did so. She was always a little curious of what happened on this side of the building considering she just passed by normally.  Maybe she'd have to make longer trips down here just so she can see what happens. Turning her attention to Miles then the blonde let a sweet smile cross her lips. "I've always worked with Red cedar but I've never really seen one outside the Fort...I just..thought it would be nice to see one completely for once and not just part of it's trunk."
She Speaks For The Trees - [Griffon and Miles]
"I really want to see an old Red Cedar. And I bet you know one." Miles looked up from his computer, slightly started by the interaction. He’d heard Griffon come into the animation office, which was always a treat because the fresh tree scent she left behind was a godsend. Usually she passed through when she did make it this far out into the building, but not today. He leaned back in his chair, trying to place one. He usually didn’t pay much attention to the trees other than as landmarks, but he knew of one right off hand. "I do know one. Like 90 feet tall, is that old?"

Yeah I suppose you're right.
I think it depends on what you’re late for when you oversleep. Then again sleeping in late is always a win when you’ve been tired.

I don't know if accidentally sleeping in late was an accidental win or an all around fail...
