my just now completed venus and my core refresh clawdeen ∩^ω^∩

i hope you think they’re cool too 😅

notes ~

- i’m so proud of myself for venus’s jacket, i didn’t use a single pattern from other sources, i just made one up! (although, i knew how it should’ve looked like cause of my watching of custom doll videos) but still!!

i of course just wrapped the piece of parchment paper around the doll to make sure it fits well enough, but i didn’t even make a prototype jacket!! and it still turned out so nice!! also the zipper DOES work but it’s a little hard to zip up

- speaking of zippers, to make clawdeen’s shoes more interesting and to reference schools out i added faux zippers to her shoes! i feel they make them so much more cooler

- venus’s new shorts DO still have working pockets ☺️

ok i think those are all my random thoughts for now, i may make an edit adding more random info when i was customizing these (*≧∀≦*)

some of my toralaura headcanons because they’re genuinely invading my mind 😅 they can be read “this could actually be in canon and isn’t necessarily romantic” but also romantic if you want（╹◡╹）

- draculaura streams the hissfits songs to support her fellow fearleader and she DEFINITELY doesn’t truthfully enjoy their music and recognize the talent..

- toralei once borrowed some of drac’s black hair dye to add black stripes in her hair, weeeeell maybe a few times since she likes the look

- “i can’t believe you enjoy spikes and all of that stuff!” “i so cant believe you like all those frills and stuff!” (they have since learned a little bit about their styles)

- sometimes after fearleading practice toralei takes a little cat nap on the benches.. and sometimes after fearleading practice draculaura likes to revise some of her notes on the benches.. they like each other’s calm presence

- draculaura MAY have a pin for hissfits from toralei; she does wear it on her bag to support her fellow fearleader

- toralei still teases drac with her tail.. it’s canon she did it once so..

- draculaura’s necklace on her fearbook doll was given to her by toralei, the fact it’s a collar and it has spikes is so toralei; i think in my mind it was gift given to drac to say thanks as they slowly rebuild their relationship, i imagine they maybe had a heart to heart convo or something 😅

- they still bicker like an old couple but now it’s all in good fun and just say the most ridiculous things to each other, giggling after

- draculaura… actually *cant* make it to hissfit shows most of the time, but she does sometimes visit for a few minutes during rehearsals at lunch for fun!

you could probably tell but i’m not usually the type of person to do posts like this but i’ve had a few for some time so i wanted to post them 😅

it was actually 9:40 pm when i started this post and i go to sleep at ~10:30 pm so this was kinda a little nighttime journal ( ✌︎'ω')✌︎

the ending definitely threw me a lot because as my post says they set up that toralei is attempting to be better and also definitely has a lot going on

the first episode (and later seen second episode) for season 2 surprised me because they wasn’t really a mention for toralei, as you said only subtext and one-liners. i think if they could they definitely would have the second episode be a toralei episode that actually explains better what is going on. from the episode roster, there is seemingly 1 episode that (kinda) delves into this in the future (monster high-jinks)

i’m pretty sure at the moment toralei would be living in the school full time, as established all characters have dorms that they live in and a lot of the students on the weekends stay with their parents; this just means toralei doesn’t really go anywhere and just stays in the dorms i guess 😖

honestly watching back this clip though this ending does feel a little too cruel 😅 toralei literally just wanted the show to go good, while yes she was demanding i think it could’ve been a learning curve at the end of the episode, to further her development and to show how she’s still actively willing to listen and learn how to be a better werecat or something for background continuity

toralei just wanted the show to go good and as punishment she gets chased by an animal that notoriously kills monsters… 😧 of course, this show isn’t that serious and i doubt the intended ending of this episode was for toralei to get brutally attacked by these bugs but definitely an ending that’s a little weird as it’s an ending that you’re supposed to laugh at but toralei 1. IS trying to be better and probably would’ve understood if someone told her how she was acting and 2. she statistically has a chance of actually being harmed 😅 i do think that the writers don’t hate toralei and weren’t trying to be mean nor serious and i think she is planned to be focused on and discussed （＾ω＾）
