WELCOME.

This is a cringe, self-indulgent ask blog. This is a concept I've been wanting to fully create since I was around 8 years old. Ask blogs are a really personal thing to me, and I just really, really need this to go somewhere.

Annie, (Definitely not a self insert!) a teenage girl with a passion for fandom culture, awakes in a house that is not hers, in a body that isn't hers. The house is a combination of previous houses she's lived in. Things are... different though, mainly it being 4 STORIES TALL. Decorations are different, except for her room from her old house, it's completely the same. Goat horns, a tail, two eyes, two arms. A weird form, looked sick as hell, but not hers. It's scary.

Imagine this, you've met your tragic fate because... plot reasons! Now what? Well, you wake up in a plain white room. "Is this heaven?" you ask yourself, NOPE! It's just some cringe 13-year olds fantasy coming true! A bunch of characters are here, and you insanely confused because GOAT WOMEN. SHOULD NOT. BE TALKING. You don't know what's going on, or how this happened, or heo you woke up here, but, what you're focused on is getting out of this room. Out of the locked room.

Wow, that was INSANELY cringe. It only guess worse and harder to read. Anyway!

first post coming sometime, sometime being whenever I feel like it, and character list and plot coming soon.

write weird shit. Write indulgent au fanfiction and self insert fics. Write creepy horror scenes and random character crossover dialogue. Write in a different genre. Write that sex scene that you know won’t make the cut. Write about sentient furniture turning into werewolves that try to date your MC. Write whump or hero/villain fic. Write your kink. Write your worst nightmare. Write your delusions of power and fantasies of control. Write whatever the fuck you feel like. Write whatever comes to mind. You don’t have to share it with anyone (but you can). Your writing impulses don’t define your morality anymore than your reading preferences, and actually going outside your comfort zone will improve your writing skills (making a horrifying villain sympathetic requires good characterization). Even if it doesn’t improve your skills, that’s still something you created out of nothing. It’s still valuable. Don’t let purity culture kill your creativity. That’s how culture stagnates. That’s how writing stops being fun.
