                     Meet Ghanaian Artist,  Theo Pencil

BIOGRAPHY OF Theo Pencil

Theo Pencil is a young talented Ghanaian Artist born on the 5th day of May, 1993 and lives in Accra, Ghana. With no formal education in art work, his works has been viewed across the world with amazement and wonder. The realism of his drawings has captivated many people. His real name is Theophilus Boateng Kwaku Sarpong but was given the name Theopencil by his friends because of the magic he performs with just a pencil. He discovered his talent as an artist at the age of eight when he used to draw cartoons just for fun. Theopencil advanced as a hyper realistic pencil artist at the early ages of seventeen. His area of specialization in the arts industry is mostly works on human figures. He is good in color works but most of his master pieces are in pencil which inspires him a lot. At the age of 21, Theo Pencil has made realistic pencil portraits of some famous personalities including Kofi Annan - Former United Nations Secretary General, Nelson Mandela - Former South African President, Niki Minaj - A popular American Music Artist, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor - Former Presidents of the Republic of Ghana, Jackie Appiah - A popular Ghanaian Actress, Nana Akufo Addo - 2012 Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Barack Obama - President of the United State of America and John Dramani Mahama - President of the Republic of Ghana and others. Theo Pencil is always drawing and it would be a great delight that the next pencil art work would be yours.

My little sister was in tears today because she was wearing her hair naturally to school. She told me that she didn’t want to because people at her school always made fun of her or laughed at her when she did (including her friends and teacher). She said that she hates her hair and that she wishes it wasnt like how it is. I tried telling her that people would kill to have hair like hers. She didn’t believe me and said that no one wants hair like hers and that she hates it. We live in a predominately white neighborhood, so shes used to seeing white girls with flowing hair. She feels as thought their hair is prettier than hers. I know this is a bit stupid and all but, could you guys reblog this and share some positivity so that I can show her that she is loved and that her hair is beautiful and she should never be ashamed?
