So a post yesterday got me thinking abt the citadel coup and I really like the subtle differences in Kaidan and Ashley's dialogue if shepard manages to convince them to stand down.

Kaidan will say "I better not regret this" effectively putting the blame on Shepard if they betray him, almost like a warning to then (as he should btw)

And Ashley says "I'm gonna regret this" which tells me she'll blame herself if anything happens, also shows her more cynical view of the world (the thought of her kicking herself for being vulnerable if smth did happen ugh)

Either way Shepard's "you won't" and face of relief always kills me

For real though, am I the only one who simply doesn't give a shit what tim knew or didn't know about what was happening on pragia? As a leader he's responsible for what happens in his organization. He's the one who fostered a culture where his scientists knew if they got results, he would ignore their methods and all would be forgiven. At the end of the day, he is responsible. And it doesn't really matter if he truly didn't know, if he gave it a wink, or if he was fully informed and not letting on.

I think people in fandom would be happier if they focused more on things they love than the things they hate

#the struggle in the ME fandom is not going off the rails at someone for liking Kaidan and/or Ashley
